I took a bit of a hiatus from pole fitness and recently got back into it. I'm still impressed with The Aerial Loft and am glad to be back. It's a real gem and I'm happy to see some of the same instructors, especially Jackie, who is not only talented, but also patient and encouraging, and breaks the moves down into digestible steps. A TIME was had That pole is a lot more difficult than I thought but our instructor was super patient and super fun and got us totally into it. It's a great workout and a nice way to feel sexy about yourself. She taught us ways to enhance our assets depending on our body types and I got some cool moves to try at home- wink! read more

I started taking classes here in addition to my home studio. My home studio is a bit small and doesn't offer as wide a range of classes, and I wanted to explore some other facets of aerial dance that aren't offered at my studio. The first time I went, the floor was in bad, bad shape. There were holes, paint peelings, and it just felt very dangerous to be dancing barefoot on. Luckily, they got a beautiful, new floor by the time I went to my second class. The instructors so far have been incredibly thorough, resourceful, and clearly passionate about what they do. The warm-ups are very thorough, and with doing aerial dancing, you need to be warmed up very well because injury is very easy. The classes are a bit faster paced than at my other studio so it is an adjustment, but I am enjoying the challenge. I believe it will push me to further my goals within my dance journey. The classes are a bit full. It's generally two women per apparatus which made me a bit uncomfortable and difficult to socially distance. My other studio has a 1 person per apparatus policy for social distancing which has been great to also get a lot of practice in. read more

The class was so much fun! I took Intro to aerial hoop. I have never been to this studio before. The free class was perk for Yelp ellite memebers. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Heather was really friendly and an amazing teacher. There was no judgement and expectations so the atmosphere was really fun and welcoming! I highly recommend this studio! never been to a place like this where they have studios for pole dancing, aerial hoop, and more. This place is really welcoming and friendly. They don't have a parking lot, but there's plenty of street parking. They have decorated the place minimalistically but nicely. Heather was such a good teacher, she went over everything very slow and explained the moves very well. I surprised myself and was able to do most of the moves. My favorite aerial studio in Long Island! Regina is an excellent instructor and owner. It's a beautiful studio with great energy and a very welcoming vibe. I went to the Intro to Pole class with Kim the Mom. She was awesome. I love that the warm ups lead into the dance routine. It's black owned by two young ladies which is AMAZING! I absolutely loved this place & how willing and able they are able to work with all levels of people. Only only downfall was Kim didn't have a playlist for the class but when we requested songs she played them. It was amazing! I'm still shopping around for the best prices but I'll mostly likely be back & purchase a package. Fyi: all classes have multiple instructors which I think is pretty dope. read more

The Aerial Loft is my pole home. Not only is the studio impeccable in terms of space, ceiling height, new wood floors that are gorg!, large mirrors, lighting and well spaced poles, but the instructors and students are some of the most amazing people. There are a variety of classes for all interests and levels with instructors that really care for their students and celebrate (very enthusiastically :) ) their progress. The students I have met in classes have become my friends and know the relationships I have made go beyond just the class setting. I truly can't say how much I love coming here and wish I could be at every class every day. Shout out to Regina the studio owner for creating such an amazing space for the pole community. This studio is my new happy place! I just finished an introductory 5-class package and treated myself to a 20-class bundle. I have been taking classes with studio owner once a week for about 2 yrs and have progressed from a stiff/shy student to flexible and determined to always improve. My daughter absolutely loved the aerial classes here! She was so excited to attend each week. A few times the classes were cancelled the day of for a lack of participants. My main issue when signing up was my daughter"s safety. The room for the silks class is small and I asked about the mask policy before signing up. I was told that all participants had to show proof of vaccination which would be documented or wear a mask. I was satisfied. Unfortunately, a few weeks later my friend called to inquire about the class and was told there no longer was a mask policy for children. I found out they had changed the policy without informing me even though I had bought a package of ten classes on the basis of that policy. Interestingly, they said the policy was still in place for adults but not for kids (who at the time could not be fully vaccinated). I am sorry they changed to this unsafe policy because it was a lot of fun. I would have at least liked if I was told of the policy change before walking into class with unmasked children and having to leave with my daughter. Fortunately, we found a new studio in West Hempstead that has plenty of classes ( no cancellations yay!) and a clear mask policy for all students and teachers. read more

I love this studio so much! Firstly, the owner, Regina, is a fabulous pole and flexibility instructor who is very knowledgeable about tricks and techniques. She's also super friendly and welcomes all of us students with love. Secondly, the other instructors are knowledgeable too and act very professionally in class. Lastly, I love the cleanliness of the studio! Once I enter I am embraced with the beautiful, bright walls and fresh new smell. The poles are adequate enough to do aerial tricks and are made of great material. I have good grip on them most of the times. This boutique fitness studio recently opened around the corner from my school! It specializes in pole, silks, hoop and flexibility, and from what I understand, to empower bodies. I was beyond excited to have the opportunity to get back into some pole and aerial magic without having to travel into the city. The entry way is great in that it is handicap accessible with a ramp and/or stairs. Past the reception area, there are 3 rooms that can be found... the main portion of the studio with 6 or so poles, and 2 smaller connected rooms with different apparatuses: hoop and aerial silks (those padded floors tho)! I took two classes last week: Exotic Flow & Flexibility. The Exotic Flow was great and possibly led by the owner, but both classes were instructed exceptionally well by. Didn't realize but Exotic Flow is a pole class in heels and not an exotic floor class. Regardless, found my groove and was able to challenge my body and mind, having a blast! What I loved most about the instruction is that you could tell safety is the top priority, and the space and the other students are welcoming and nonjudgmental. Will be back to try the classes, but so far very pleased!! read more
