Awful awful awful experience. You know what they say about…read morefirst impressions.. Metro certainly did not put their best foot forward. They are not at all agile in neither customer service nor accommodating needs of the disabled. I do not drive due to my injuries. My Uber was late and I tried to call at 4pm regarding a 4:20 appointment, but it took 10 or more minutes to reach a human. I had to coonect to the billing depot before I was able to speak to a person who xoonected me to bellmore. By the time I got a person I was nearly there when I was told I would not be seen today. I arrived, first time there, and their street facing door is actually their back door, with a sign that said please knock loudly. I knocked, soneone came, open the door and asked what I wanted. I said to come in. He said you have to go to the front which is actually the back. Here I am barely able to walk and this idiot wants me to walk around the building rather than accommodate me and let me in. The director was not available. I believe this business is too busy to care about being customer friendly and accommodating, and too big to be agile and adjustable. I was asked I'd I wanted to reschedule and I replied absolutely Not. I will not do business with such an establishment which is probably an indication of the level of treatment I would receive.

With the right physical therapist, the care is truly amazing--personalized, supportive, and effective. Highly recommend finding the right match here!

Saw an ad to try a class, thought it would be something I'd like. They immediately call you…read moreafterwards with a bunch of questions along with wanting your credit card number (even though it's a free class) the class was rougher than I thought and my body was trembling at certain points. I understand it's high intensity but there are other high intensity workouts I'd rather try. As soon as the free class was over, they had just enough employees on hand to come to each of us taking the free class ready to get our money. They already had a schedule ready for us, whether or not it actually worked around our lives. If you have the time, money and strength to do this, go for it. But I'd personally prefer a place that doesn't come for you like a shark. You could tell they were following a script as it sounds like what's written in their email communications. And when I said I wasn't ready to sign up and that I don't get paid until next week, I was met with a "well I'll trust you that you don't get paid until next week" I know it's Garden City, however that doesn't mean all the clientele walking in comes from Garden City where they can afford this. It was also a holiday where schools were closed and people were off of work. The surrounding businesses were packed with people, I thought this class would be full with regulars as well. It was only three of us which also raised a red flag because why wouldn't people be getting their workout in on their day off, unless people really weren't going there? My bar also conveniently had a ribbon tied around that a staff member cut off and made sure to tell us a that it was to celebrate someone's milestone in the previous class which to me seemed a bit staged as a way to lure us in.

love this studio - energy, class variety and amazing community of members. teachers are motivating…read moresupportive and have excellent technique. the owner Miriah also creates and brings fun events and celebrated our milestones. the studio has a very collegial and empowering atmosphere. the classes are pricey but well worth the investment in your health and strength! this workout is fun, motivating and makes me feel so much stronger and more enduring in my job and life.

Front desk really needs to get it together on how they speak to their guests. Without customers…read morecoming in, you won't have a job. Place needs better maintenance as bathrooms are always wreaking of urine especially the kids family bathroom. Why do we have a children's bathroom with no proper way for children to reach the sink located inside the toilet? Staff at the salon also has a bad attitude. For such a high end gym, customer service is lacking 100%.

Want to start off by saying the only pro I can think of are really the trainers and class teachers…read morewho are all super nice, professional, and try to accommodate when they can. But policies set by management or corporate at this facility basically guarantee this location is on same trajectory as the Dodo bird. Other than the above, terrible quality for a Life Time facility and significantly worse than any other Life Time in NYC and Westchester area. The bumper plates on the second floor look more or less like a dog chewed on them. If you are here to lift weights, just know that the equipment is worse than LA fitness, NYSC, etc. Again, other Life Times have been renovated 1-2x over the past 3 years, if they aren't brand new. This is literally the only one that is like this. The only renovation they did was to remove a basketball coirt to replace with Pickle ball. The squat racks are literally a danger to use if you squat on the second floor if you hit parallel or lower unless you go to the 3rd floor (which typically has classes running) And now that they replaced one basketball court with Pickleball courts, you basically cannot use the basketball court. Unavailable 60-70% of the time to use. Attaching a picture for the reader to judge for themselves. Camp is over? Birthday party. No birthday party? Then its a league game (this one was not as bothersome before as they had the second court and it was not typically the entire day). I understand the need to increase revenue but at this point, this location is milking their members for quality that is worsening with each passing day. The reason this gym also went downhill is because of the influx of those who were going to Syosset and changed because the quality was also going down. I would venture to say Syosset is now the better location. If you have time, checkout Life Time Harrison or Life Time Dumbo. Drastic difference in quality. I hope corporate management changes their tune but its more likely that this facility will continue to increase prices and let the place deteriorate until they close down. Its really a shame. The reason this
