I explained the situation which he was aware of then he told me I am not entitled to a copy of her death certificate as her last of kin. Her sole surviving children, her husband also passed. I informed him I am. I offered to send my birth certificate along with a picture ID. He went on still that it does not make a difference. Even if I came to town and went to the county records I would not be given a copy. I advised him he is incorrect and I will contact a lawyer. After a short time Greg called and said he knew who I was saw my name in the obituary (which I put in) if I would send $10 for the cost he will send me one. The one I received in the mail is incorrect has the date of 3/5/2018. She passed in 2019. I called again today and once again Joe answered I asked for Victor(my mistake had the wrong name) again he was very rude and disrespectful to me. I know he knows the situation my cousin Timothy Dray and Uncle Patrick Dray put me in and I feel he is taking it personal to protect them. Again if I was ever to be in the area and need services of a funeral home this would not be the one I would choose. I have many military friends from the Buffalo area and have also shared my concerns with them. The website says Joe has 20 years of experience. Perhaps it is time for a change. He certainly does not have the compassion for a grieving daughter now left an orphan.

When my family contacted Hamp it was smooth sailing. Not only was everyone incredibly understanding and kind, but they had a list of recommendations for almost everything, they walked us through everything we needed to do with ease. In one day we had everything picked and ready to go, simply amazing. The funeral home itself is the best i've ever seen. Its spacious, its beautiful, there's even a coy pond out back you can check out. I'm happy and honored my grandmothers beautiful service could be held here. Not only was everything seamless, but they had water bottles out for everyone, they even had the priest stop in to give a wonderful prayer towards the end of the wake, this would have meant the world to my grandmother. Everyone who attended even said it was one of the most beautiful wake & funerals they have attended. On the day of the funeral, everyone was organized and helpful to make everything happen perfectly, it was truly a relief. During this difficult time, i will forever be grateful to the wonderful people at Hamp Funeral Home for making my grandmother not only look beautiful, but for providing my family with comfort and for helping put together the most beautiful services, thank you!

The most interesting feature in my opinion is that there are no gravestones at all; the only markers are metal plates that are flush with the ground. The workers were accommodating for anyone to speak up, come early for private viewing and plenty of water and tissues readily available for public use. The viewing room we were in was rather small but perfect for the small family crowd we had. I appreciated having a somewhat private room across the hall for those moments where you need a minute to be alone. The parking lot was small and became a bit of an issue during peak times. Also, because it's on the corner of several main roads, it's easy to pass if you aren't familiar with the area or to get lost in the tops plaza behind it.
