    Machaca Burrito
    Jack M.

This small business kiosk is located at the La Presa Liquor Store parking lot. The lady who owns it is super nice. She makes some pretty good coffee beverages and some really tasty breakfast burritos. I had the machaca breakfast burrito, but she also offers a homemade bacon and eggs, chorizo and potatoes, and a bean & cheese burritos. The burritos come on a quality flour tortilla and are very well priced from $4 to $6.50 each. The machaca burrito was delicious. It came with tender shredded beef, bell peppers, onions, and eggs for $6.50. The Americano I order was good, perhaps a tad bitter towards the end, but still quite good. She offers a variety of hot or cold espresso based beverages, desserts, and a pork torta. If you are a Spring Valley or La Presa resident, check her out.

I got a machaca breakfast burrito and this was so yummy! You can tell it's homemade and has that homely feel. Not a generic machaca. The burritos are much smaller than a normal San Diego breakfast burrito, but let me be clear, it was perfect! Just the right amount of food so I wasn't left overly full. And the price is conservative! Hard to find good quality at a decent price. Oh and her green homemade salsa is amazing! Highly recommend and I will be back.

Stopped by this little coffee spot on the corner. The owner was so sweet and welcome! My wife and I tried the iced Brown Sugar latte and Vanilla latte. The espresso was perfect. We were hungry and got a burrito de Machaca that was recommended by one of the regulars, and a torta de pierna. Both were soooo delicious, they had great flavor, along with the Salsa Verde. Of course, we couldn't go without having a few desserts like the cranberry oatmeal cookie and the cheesecake. So so good!

Incredible. Gold mine. Great food, great coffee, great service. I don't usually leave reviews and felt this time was the time to do it.

Some of the best pollo I've had ever -- good seasoning, chunks of chicken thighs, not shredded, and not dry at all. Good pico and guac on them too. When they first served them to me they had peanuts so I returned to the front to let them know that I am allergic and I asked for them without peanuts. They took the old box in the back and closed the door. When she brought it back out, I asked to see the old box because I didn't see them put a new one together. She said she threw the old one away but I saw her the whole time and didn't hear anything go in the trash. It is a heavy box. She swore that she threw it away and handed me the box and assured me that she heard that I was allergic to peanuts. While sitting to eat I got a little ways through the box when I noticed there were peanuts in the new box under some stuff. I believe they just picked the peanuts off the top and gave it back to me like I wouldn't notice. I do not recommend this place. I could have ended up in the hospital.

The food was hot, and flavorful. I opted for the #16 and the #10. Portions are decent, and prices are fair; expect to spend twenty dollars per person, don't forget to ad tax. Enjoy
