We love this place! Service is fast and friendly, the atmosphere is casual and fun (always great music playing!) The menu choices are plentiful and affordable. Oh, clean bathrooms are a plus! The restaurant recently changed ownership (Dec 2025) we're hoping our favorites stay in the menu.

First time going here. Cute restaurant in a strip mall. Food was good. When I said I need to be gluten free and have celiac disease the manager came out and talked with me. We're able to quick clean a section of the grill before making my food to help with cross contamination. I got a side of scrambled eggs with cheese and the hash browns. Very good for simple breakfast. Large portions. My friend got the classic breakfast with French toast and a side of gravy. Got a classic mimosa. They have several flavors to choose from. Will definitely return.

Walking in, the place immediately gave off good vibes--big, bright, and flooded with natural light. The décor is cute and quirky without trying too hard. It was early Sunday afternoon, so of course there was a wait, but it was short enough that my "hangry" didn't kick in. We got seated at a long, cafeteria-style table, which was fine because there was plenty of space. Our server was fantastic--attentive, friendly, and made good suggestions. But honestly, the food stole the show. Hands down, best brunch I've ever had in Gresham--maybe even top tier of my life. I went with the egg sandwich: eggs over medium, cheddar, and extra-crispy bacon on rye. The bacon was so perfectly crisp but not greasy. The sandwich was huge. Normally I'm not a hash brown fan, but I noticed they had a special with plantains, so I swapped them in. Best choice ever. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict, my son got the classic breakfast with a pancake. We all left impressed and very full. We will definitely be back!

    Mmmm... delicious!

Had breakfast at Sweet Betty's again over the weekend. One of my favorite breakfast spots in the PNW! Service Food: Positive Environment: Vibe! Great place to just hang out while having a great meal.

Sweet Betty's is one of our favorite spots in Gresham for breakfast or lunch! I love, love, love their Tuna fish sandwich! I'm also a fan of their Chicken Caesar Wrap. Do not miss their Clam Chowder on Fridays too! It rivals those from the Pacific coast. Betty's has a fun atmosphere that we enjoy. Love to dine and support restaurants where everyone feels welcomed & Betty's is just that. It's a Gresham staple, and we are thankful it has survived trying times during COVID. Hoping it will be around for a long time.

Sweet Betty's is always on point! Their specials are absolutely amazing and we are impressed every time. They are also really sweet, provide great service, and kid friendly.

Food went down hill after they moved. Their staff use to be so bubbly and nice now no one stands out or makes an effort. Too political.

Ask the Community - Sweet Betty's

Do they take reservations for groups of 20?

They don't take reservations. It's first come first serve.

So they allow dogs on the patio area?

They do, but when we went on a beautiful summer morning, they said that they "hadn't set up the patio because nobody requested it," so we had to leave our dog in the car. :-(

After waiting that long, I asked for a refund because it was obvious my order wasn't going to be made until the drive-thru line was completely cleared. The response was extremely rude: "Refund for what?" When I explained I had been waiting 15+ minutes with no progress, I was told "We prioritize our drive-thru customers." What was I supposed to do? Stand there and wait until they had no more drive thru customers? On top of that, they didn't use the personal cup I brought and requested my drink be made in. I also watched them repeatedly use the same old 8oz to-go cup to pour shots, and it looked like it was deteriorating -- like they were reusing it to avoid cleaning. There were two employees, but only one seemed to be making drinks while the other appeared focused on closing tasks, and it felt like they were trying to rush through closing even though they still had customers. Both employees were extremely rude, and they were pointing and yelling at my husband and me as we drove away. (One of the employees had blue hair.) Yikes. Go to the country coffee place nearby instead -- we've always had great service there. Avoid this place at all costs. This stand seriously needs to reevaluate their service model.

The place had a good amount of seating and outlets to study/do work. I liked how there are multiple food options, outdoor tables, and a play structure nearby as well. Sam and his family are precious and some of the friendliest people in the area. Sam is highly personable and accommodating. The drink order did take a bit longer to come out but this is understandable since it is a small business and Sam was occupied with taking orders while making drinks. You can tell he puts in a lot of care and effort into his craft because the baklava latte came out impeccable. The coffee was fragrant and smooth, garnished with pistachios and rose petals, and the perfect amount of sweetness.

That being said, since I had already placed an order, I just let it be. Though, I wish the cashier would have mentioned this before I had ordered, as I was holding the cup in front of me the whole time. It just seemed like an odd restriction given that I have used my reusable cup at several boba places in Portland and know they are accepted at a few other ShareTea locations. Anyways, aside from the cup incident, this place was fine, but nothing to rave about. Service was fast, the place was clean, and there is a fair amount of parking. It's in a great location near some several other shops, so is a convenient place to stop if you are running errands in Gresham. The actual boba drink itself was surprisingly sweet considering I had ordered a 30% sweet. It was a very syrupy sweetness without a lot of tea or fruit flavor to balance it out. Also, there were seeds of the passion fruit in the drink that were unpleasant to find. Overall, pretty meh for someone who has had a lot of boba drinks, but not a bad place if you are a boba newbie or like super sweet drinks.
