I especially love the upstairs seating with the comfy chairs and pillows, it's such a relaxing spot to settle in!!! They always offer fun new or seasonal drinks, and everything I've tried has been delicious. Their sandwiches are surprisingly filling and really tasty as well. It can get a bit busy during the lunch hour, but it usually evens out pretty quickly. Overall, it's one of my favorite places to grab a drink, get some work done, or just relax.

We tried the breakfast bagels and they were just enough to get full, but you could also check out the Japanese Sando shop across the way. Perfect place to do work or grab a drink and chat. Since it's attached to an apartment building, there seems to be a lot of regulars too. Hot fall latte (4/5) too sweet but good espresso flavor. I would ask for less syrup next time. Iced chai (4/5) good milk ratio so the chai spices aren't lost.

Once I got the parking figured out, I went in and got a Chaga Matcha. I saw that it had monk fruit sweetener and was a bit apprehensive, as I never really jived with the taste of it. I could not distinguish it from any other sweetener. The bring was smooth and gone too quick. The shop was a pretty good side and very quiet when I went, late afternoon. It felt like a great place to get so work done. My only note, is that as a medium it was a bit smaller than the norm. So I would advise expecting smaller sizing.

My favorite this month is a pumpkin chai with a lavender scone or bacon jalapeno quiche; these are always delicious. The best part about this location are the employees. They are friendly, even when standing out in the rain taking our orders if there is a line. Their service is quick and they always get my orders right even when I order with modifications. That sounded good so I got the raspberry mocha latte with oat milk. I asked if they had any vegan food items, and currently they don't offer any. Their baked goods are homemade, but I was told there's a possibility they will offer vegan items in the future. I read in another review that dogs are welcome, which was evident with the dog hairs on the sofa I sat on. There was street parking, not abundantly so on the day I visited. After waiting that long, I asked for a refund because it was obvious my order wasn't going to be made until the drive-thru line was completely cleared. The response was extremely rude: "Refund for what?" When I explained I had been waiting 15+ minutes with no progress, I was told "We prioritize our drive-thru customers." What was I supposed to do? Stand there and wait until they had no more drive thru customers? On top of that, they didn't use the personal cup I brought and requested my drink be made in. I also watched them repeatedly use the same old 8oz to-go cup to pour shots, and it looked like it was deteriorating -- like they were reusing it to avoid cleaning. There were two employees, but only one seemed to be making drinks while the other appeared focused on closing tasks, and it felt like they were trying to rush through closing even though they still had customers. Both employees were extremely rude, and they were pointing and yelling at my husband and me as we drove away. (One of the employees had blue hair.) Yikes. Go to the country coffee place nearby instead -- we've always had great service there. Avoid this place at all costs. This stand seriously needs to reevaluate their service model.

That being said, since I had already placed an order, I just let it be. Though, I wish the cashier would have mentioned this before I had ordered, as I was holding the cup in front of me the whole time. It just seemed like an odd restriction given that I have used my reusable cup at several boba places in Portland and know they are accepted at a few other ShareTea locations. Anyways, aside from the cup incident, this place was fine, but nothing to rave about. Service was fast, the place was clean, and there is a fair amount of parking. It's in a great location near some several other shops, so is a convenient place to stop if you are running errands in Gresham. The actual boba drink itself was surprisingly sweet considering I had ordered a 30% sweet. It was a very syrupy sweetness without a lot of tea or fruit flavor to balance it out. Also, there were seeds of the passion fruit in the drink that were unpleasant to find. Overall, pretty meh for someone who has had a lot of boba drinks, but not a bad place if you are a boba newbie or like super sweet drinks.

I had coffees from the Country Coffee shack multiple times on my last trip to Gresham to visit…read morefamily (Thanks Sis!!!) and each coffee I tried was fantastic! From hot coffees to cold brews, all were tasty and made to my specifications (sugar free, minimal syrup pumps). This shack also offers oat, soy, or coconut milk... which makes staying somewhat low-carb easier (on vacation, so lived a little dangerously this visit!). There are multiple Country Coffee locations around the metro area, but I'll be sure to swing back by this one the next time I'm up in the PNW.
