Best pecan pie I have ever had. The owner Lisa is a delight and everything she makes is of the highest quality.

I needed to find somewhere near my dog's daycare that I could grab a coffee and go straight to work after dropping him off, but I generally drink coffee with oat milk, and I don't like to settle for mcdonalds coffee. Honestly, I wish I had found this place sooner, because I would have been going there a lot. It's a quiet, inviting space with a small, shared parking lot, and it seems like it would be a nice place to dine in as well as take things to go. They had no qualms with using my personal ceramic cup, and their Americano with oat milk is fantastic (they also use Oatly, which is my favorite brand). I peeked at the food menu and the bakery case, and everything looked SO good. I will be back for both coffee and that bacon cheese croissant soon! EDIT: returned a second time for a takeout drink and to get a photo to add to this review, but the staff is so kind and the place is so inviting that I ended up sitting for a bit on their patio. New fav coffee place!

It seems to not be sure of what…read moreit's identity is from wide range food and drink offerings to an aesthetic that does not match the quality of food/drink. We ordered a regular coffee and a latte. My large coffee with room from creamer was only 3/4 full and the quality was just okay. The $6 latte was nothing special. The biscoff bun was delicious. And the carrot cake muffin was heavy, dense, and cold. Inside setting is wonderful. Ample seating, diverse offerings and an open feel - it serves the space well. Parking is limited on the side with difficult alternative arrangement options. I think in time a uniform feel is possible but some quality control is necessary.

Reunion has been a breath of fresh air - really good espresso drinks, pastries, and breads. To be 100% honest, Crucible's coffee is better, but their pastry selection is minuscule and they can feel a bit stuffy. Reunion's pastries are good, though I wish they had more French-inspired things like pain au chocolat, croissants, or even soft cinnamon rolls, but I feel they excel more at the breads side of baking. I got a mini sourdough loaf once and it was excellent! Service is always friendly and happy, and the shop itself is cute, but there isn't much space inside. I'm all for tables outside, but there's not much real estate there either, especially on a busy morning. I think a small adjustment to flow could make it easily sit a couple cafe tables inside without it feeling so crowded. I just miss the days of being able to hang out and have good coffee and snacks while doing some work on a laptop. Seems like most businesses would rather have you out the door instead. I have high standards for bakeries and cafes, and Reunion meets most of them. They're now my favorite place to go in the mornings in Staunton... if they're open. I would go there much more often if I could actually eat my breakfast there instead of having to get back in my car or sit in the blistering summer heat.

Flavors we tried: vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, raspberry white chocolate cookie dough and vanilla with strawberry icing and chocolate shavings (not sure of the actual name). All were very tasty, but for me, the highlights were chocolate (excellent), red velvet and vanilla, just amazing, all moist with the right amount of icing. Really want to come back for other flavors. The staff member that helped us was so friendly and helpful. She let us know that it's a good idea to buy in advance as they sell out quickly. She wasn't kidding! When we came back after lunch to pick up our cupcakes that we did buy in advance, some of the flavors were completely gone! So if you know what you want, get it right away.

They are a small batch bakery so their flavors do sell out throughout the day so I recommend getting their early if you don't have a pre-order. Service is quick and staff are very helpful. Small tables a small selection of gift items in store. Cute little bee mural. The cupcakes we have purchased have universally been moist and the frosting has always been the perfect texture and not overly sweet. My husband particularly enjoyed the maple bacon and our guest loved the M&M cookie dough (even the cookie dough tastes homemade in the best way). We know what stop to make when we have guests now!
