They're…read moresoft, chewy, sweet, and full of delicious pumpkin flavor (along with hints of cinnamon/spice). Basically, they are a pumpkin flavored cookie. Thankfully the "spice" flavor is muted and not in your face or burning (I prefer less spice and more of a pumpkin pie flavor to my pumpkin treats). The orange gel used for the eyes and mouth had just a hint of pumpkin flavor, but it's more for decoration/aesthetics. Some of the cookies were done very well with the eyes and mouth looking just like on the box, but a few looked pretty bad (too scary to show). They pair great with a cup of pumpkin spice coffee or be like the Doughboy and take these cookies up a notch by adding cream cheese frosting to them. Not a frosting person? Being the mom of a freshman who is 3hrs away learning how to navigate special days where you can't be present is new and can be a challenge. Of course I sent a care package full of treats, but I wanted her to also have something fresh. I ordered a box that came with six cupcakes, two cookies and half a dozen chocolate covered strawberries. This was a large enough box for her to share with her friends (highly doubt this happened. My girl loves sweets lol) or to keep her satisfied all weekend lol. Ordering was easy and delivery was a breeze. They checked in with me the day before to confirm the delivery time and even snapped a really cute picture of her holding her surprise.
