Very creative and interesting selection of pastry. Had some delicious gluten free options which is the reason I stopped by.

Don't get the steak if you care how it's cooked…read more I ordered medium well, it came out medium rare. The waiter asked if I would cut into it to check other parts. I refused because I just needed to jiggle it with my fork and knife to see that it was underdone. They took it back and it came back half medium and half slightly over medium well. What's killing me is that I was told that they had checked it the second time and I could see several cuts on the steak (that's crazy that the chef/cook had to figure out doneness that way). But one of the openings in the steak was clearly medium, which he later affirmed. So, I'm not sure what they checked before! The non-bloody parts of the steak did taste good, though. So, if you don't care about doneness, go for it. Also, they had weird plating on the steak. Go for the board or go for plates but this awkward plates on a cutting board means you delicately try to not knock anything off. Pro tip: scrape it all onto the board The calamari was tasty except the plate was half fried zucchini. Slick move to get $16 out of me for a tempura plate. Otherwise, service was pretty slow although the restaurant was maybe 1/4 occupied. I had my doubts since the spot a couple doors down had a one-hour wait. Should've trusted my gut.

When the door opened, it smelled absolutely delicious! When you venture in there are cute decorations. You are greeted by displays of beautiful allergy friendly baked treats. Coffee is available also. The service was prompt and friendly. We had difficulty deciding what to buy but all the treats we chose were delicious. Try the cinnamon rolls!! They are the best GF cinnamon rolls that I have ever eaten!

That's gotta taste like cardboard," let…read moreme introduce you to Ruby's Baking Co. where Chelsea--the absolute ray of sunshine behind the counter--proves us all so wrong. I've eaten, ordered, and visited more times than I can count (seriously, I've lost track... and maybe my self-control too). The moment you walk in, you're hit with the most AMAZING smell--like a warm, sweet cloud of freshly baked heaven. Honestly, if they bottled that scent, I'd wear it as perfume. It's impossible to leave empty-handed when the air itself is practically whispering, "Just one more treat..." Let's talk about the Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls--they're like a warm hug from a strawberry in pastry form. And don't get me started on the Red Velvet Donuts... soft, rich, and they'll make you question every other donut you've ever loved. The Raspberry Lemon Loaf? Basically, summer in a slice. Even the "regular" cinnamon roll is anything but regular. The vibes? Immaculate. It's the kind of place where you walk in for "just one treat" and leave with a box full of goodies and a heart full of happiness after a lil' chat with Chelsea. She's the type of person who remembers your name, your favorite treat, and probably your life story if you visit as much as I do. Bottom line: if you haven't been yet, what are you even doing with your life? *I would have more pictures but I eat all my treats before remembering to snap a picture.

Good setup that has a nice dining lounge with 6 small tables, also a long counter with tall chairs. Power outlets near all of the seating. The Tom Thumb restrooms are nearby, very convenient. Yes, there actually is a (faux) fireplace here! Along with a small flatscreen television stuck on 1960's sit-com classics. And bonus throwback photos of Rockwall back in the 40's, 50's, 60's. Mini museum! Usually 1 barista on-duty at this indoor walk-up location, but all have been good. Today, being 102° outside, , the crisp cold Tom Thumb air-conditioning revives your overheated body. An Ice Tea Refresher from Starbucks is what I was thinking. Green tea, Passion Fruit, and 1 other. I got the Passion Fruit with Peach flavor infusion for a tart & fruity on-the-rocks heat beater! Well, "I Dream Of Jeanie" classic show is starting on the time machine TV here, must end this review. Give this spot a try if you are in the area!
