The food was delicious!!! The kids had the Morning Glory which was an excellent version of French Toast. My daughter had the Moab Mania with bacon, eggs and avocado. The Moab Cristo was served with homemade strawberry jam and apple sauce to die for! The crave burrito with jalapeños was just right after a sunrise hike to Delicate Arch. The final cherry on top was that the owner gave each of my kids a brand new Utah quarter with the delicate arch on it. He didn't even realize that my nine year old had just completed this great feat at sunrise no less!!! A wonderful gentleman to speak with and a great breakfast to boot!! We have been here both times we were in Moab and we have loved it. It is the perfect place to start your day before heading out on your adventures. I had a delicious latte and the veggie breakfast burrito which was outstanding and Mark had a fresh OJ with a Ham, egg and cheese sandwich which was also yummy. The place is big and spacious, and there are lots of neat whimsical things to buy if you are so inclined. The location is perfect for starting out anywhere either to Arches or Canyonlands. We were drivng though Moab from Salt Lake City to Durango and stopped here because of the good Yelp reviews. Hubby had the Capone Sub and I had The Blast sandwich. Both were very delicious and generous servings. We really enjoyed the fresh flavors. He had the potato salad and I had the cold slaw sides. Recommend them both! Also had 2 Americano coffees and these were good too. The menu is so large and varied that it makes it very hard to decide but while we were waiting, we were able to see a lot of the plates and they all look delicious. We will definitely be back if ever get back to Moab. Wholeheartedly recommend this cafe!!! read more

There were 4 of us for lunch today-2 adults and 2 teenage boys. I got the wrap, my husband got the kokopelli sandwich and my boys got paninis. Everyone really liked their sandwiches. The sandwiches werereally big which was great after a morning of hiking at arches. There was plenty of meat, cheese, other topping and the little cookie on each plate was a nice surprise. I got a latte which was piping hot and tasted great. We also all split the cowboy cookie which was good and freshly baked. but later noticed the case of lemon bars, brownies, layered brownies, mini cakes, etc and wished we had saved room for more dessert. What a delicious gem of a place in Moab. My boyfriend and I are taking a cross country trip and decided to stop in Moab. We are staying in the hotel across the street. It's 10pm and I can't wait for them to open so I can go get more sweet treats. We went on a walk through Moab this morning and stopped in for a cup of coffee. Mom & Pop roots with excellent food. Just about everything is made from scratch and the portions are more than ample. I stopped here randomly 2 years ago, dined in for breakfast and grabbed a boxed lunch for the trail. The food was fantastic then and I was excited to see they are still in business today. Went after a hike to grab some coffee and check emails. The drinks were delicious, but insanely overpriced. Our total ended up being $18 for 2 iced lattes and a cookie (before tip). On top of that, the employee taking our order was extremely short with us and unwelcoming. After we sat down and received our drinks, she came back to us and told us if we are on our laptops, we are not allowed to sit at the tables. We moved to the bar and it was a pain because we were back to back with people in line ordering and the barstools were way too high for the bar itself. Fine if we chose to sit there, but extremely irritating to have paid and tipped well, then get kicked out of seats because we had computers. It was post-lunch rush as well so every single table except 2 others were wide open- we were not taking space from people who were trying to eat meals at the tables. My complaints: I asked for a cheesesteak sandwich, made without bread (just melted cheese on peppers, onions & meat). Most sandwich places have been able to do this for me since I avoid gluten and carbs. They struggled with this request, with the cashier saying she'd have to go back and make it herself since she couldn't ask her chef to do it. When she brought it out, the cheese was mostly unmelted and the meat wasn't warmed. The other sandwiches in our order were sub-par. The roast turkey breast didn't smell fresh. And to top it all off, my wiggly toddler and 5 year old were being a little energetic and getting in and out of their seats to run around the table a bit (as kids will do after being in the car for 3 hours) and they asked us to keep our kids seated. I opted to take them and leave, because it was not going to happen. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the place was clean and they had grab and go options that made it fast to get my kids seated in front of their lunches. read more
