Came here to get some ice cream and the reviews where good, the ice cream was really good but the lady's working there are really slow, and the one helping us didn't really seem to know what she was doing. We got one kid and two smalls, but they decided to charge us one small and two mediums and when I tried to say something they ignored me. So I probably won't be coming back here. read more

The compliments about the gelato and the fudge go without saying, but I was totally surprised by the amazing cup of tea I got here. While I couldn't find an English Breakfast or other plain black tea, the barista offered to make a London Fog. Honestly what she gave me was so much better than its S-bucks counterpart. Had so much hope for this shop. The smell coming out was amazing. Went in with family, and first noticed all the different fudges. I'm not a sweets person, but it looked good, so I asked for a sample. My family members also asked for a single sample of other types of fudge. You would have thought we asked for 10 lbs for free. The older lady behind the counter was so incredibly rude. She made some comment to another employee as I saw them both look at us. I'm so turned off by rude staff. I'll NEVER be back in this store. read more

Great ice cream, but apparently close at 9:00 pm means 8:30 pm. Another group showed up while they were telling us they closed early and they had hurried back from an outing to come back after some one from the staff had told them they close at 9 also it's printed on the door. read more

Just amazing! We came in on a rainy day, and were delighted with it... the fudge, gelato, and overall experience was top notch

This is my all time favorite place to get saltwater taffy. I cannot ever get enough! The place is quite clean and the staff is always pleasant. Prices are a bit on the higher end but can you really put a price on pure delight? read more

I stopped by this shop as I was having a sweet tooth attack & after inspecting the rows of truffles I settled on a double scoop of the double chocolate gelato. I'm not a gelato connisseur but I do love me some chocolate & this was divine :) The lady who runs the three shops (sweet darlings, gift shop & merchantile store) was extremely nice :) I would definitely come by again next time to sample their other sweet treats. read more

I have to say I was quite disappointed when I visited here. After reading the reviews about the gelato I was hopeful. I know I have high expectations for gelato. In my first visit I was surprised to find out they had closed at 8. But it is late in the season and so I guess that's expected. I was excited to stop by when they opened the next morning. I tasted three flavors of gelato: vanilla, sea salt Carmel, and coconut. The Carmel had no flavor at all. The vanilla was edible but not great. And the coconut was somewhere in between. I've definitely tasted worse gelato, but to say this was good gelato would be a disservice to really good gelato and the people who read these reviews. The girl behind the counter was ok, not super friendly or cheery. I really wanted to like this place, but that just wasn't the case. If you are in San Diego, check out my gelato reviews for there. 5 star gelato style sorbet! I have never tasted such smooth, rich sorbet in my life. You couldn't tell that it wasn't ice cream, I was SO appreciative as I am always left out of the good desserts. Husband loved his gelato too, wish I could have some here where I live. read more

The gelato is wonderful and the chocolates are delicious! I highly recommend gelato affogado (shot of espresso poured over the top of the gelato). This is a must stop every time I come to Seward. read more
