We were on our way out of town and nothing was open..except this little gem. I had read about the breakfast sandwiches so was eager to try. They were friendly, acknowledged us immediately even though working both sides, took our order and it was awesome. The wait was a bit but it's worth it for the sandwich! This drive thru coffee is a solid stop that is strategically located on the way out of Seward, which is why we stopped by as we drove toward Anchorage. The menu is clear and easy to read, with the prices readily visible. I appreciated that they have alternative milk options, including soy and hemp. I chose hemp milk for my Exit Glacier Express, which was a blueberry white chocolate mocha. The cup comes with a sleeve so you don't burn your hands. They also put a little flower sticker over the hole, so the coffee doesn't spill out while you are in the go. The service was very friendly and we were out of there in a short time, even with our three, very specific coffee orders. All in all, I recommend a visit to Brewed Awakenings (that's on the sign but other signs on the structure and on the cup say Mud Hut...same place) when you're in Seward. read more

This place was awesome. We drove up to the window and ordered a egg sausage pepperjack cheese sourdough sandwich from heaven and another breakfast sandwich with a mocha. The sandwich was the highlight. Warm and savory delicious amazing. One of best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a long time. Dude was super cool and girl was pretty cool. I never know what to get but they always know what to give me. Amazing service and amazing drinks! Not only do they have great tasting coffees, they have kid friendly drinks and Red Bull bombs which hit the spot every time I get one. So my latte was outstanding, but Nathan's sludge was ICE cold. But we were a mile down the road before we realized it and we weren't turning back around. The barista HAD to know the drip coffee was cold, when she grabbed the cup, it would have felt cold to the touch... so that was pretty much a dick move to sell cold coffee. I had given her a nice tip too, so I am pretty miffed. Not cool. read more

Absolutely recommend! Its a really small drive thru place that I would honestly never had have noticed ! BUT NOTICE IT ! Let me tell you it was by far one of the greatest loaded bkfast sandwiches we have had ! We had two loaded bkfasts , one with ham & the other with sausage with a caramel frappé that they did for my fiancé, it was amazing & one caramel plain ice coffee , was not so great .. Matcha oatmilk latte did not taste good. The coloring was also brown instead of the normal green color. Also the cup was only half full.

Drive through coffee shop in Seward, super convenient and friendly service. We did have to wait in line a bit longer than anticipated. A few cars in front of us got breakfast orders which took longer but drink orders were pretty quick. They have a long list of interesting mixed coffee drinks. I was worried about dairy in my coffee before a boat ride into Kenai Fjords, so got a plain espresso which was delicious, smooth and not too bitter. My husband and I are in Seward for the winter going to school. We LOVE Brewed Awakenings. It's hands down the best preparation of coffee we've had in the state and we are both consistent coffee drinkers and have had a lot of coffee across the peninsula and state.
