This is the giant gold rotating cat in the middle of the famous foods food court in Resorts World ! I've been here twice in the past couple months. Got the chunky monkey acai bowl ($17 before tax and tip) Pros: - fast service speed - they immediately put together the acai bowl in front of you , like cutting the bananas etc. - lots of casual seating in the food court area - pretty decent portions with good ratio of fruit and granola to acai base. The cacao nibs were delicious and the fruit was pretty fresh - one of the better, less rich options for food if you're trying to eat "healthier" in Resorts World or you're tired of eating fried hangover food. Cons: - the first time I came here, there was a SUPER long hair deeply embedded in the acai - we took it back to show them (we hadn't even taken a bite yet) and they did believe us immediately and offered a refund or a new bowl - we took the refund. Thankfully my second experience was much better - kind of pricey - after tax and tip it was like $21. While the portions did keep me full as a little breakfast, I did wish it was a bit cheaper (but Vegas prices, what can you do) - the young workers here look like they're working really hard, which I appreciate. But I do wish they either had their hair completely tied up in a ponytail or wearing a hat instead of just a casual loose hair clip with bangs free - I'm glad they fill the bowl with portions - but I wish the bowl was just bigger so it's easier to scoop when you eat. The fruit and honey was overflowing/dripping off the sides, and it makes it so the first maybe 10 bites you're eating pure fruit and can't mix it with the rest of the acai Overall, not bad. It was late and we were all tired from a long road trip. As soon as we checked in, we went straight to the food court as it promised lots of Asian cuisine. My son saw the dessert stall at the middle of the food court and begged for a shaved ice. I saw people buying bowls of big delicious shaved ice and I caved in. - Strawberry & cream: my son's request and I thought it would be just a regular shaved ice with strawberries but I was wrong! The shaved ice itself was drenched with lots of sweet condensed milk (yum!) The strawberry syrup was sweet with a hint of sour. A perfect scoop of vanilla ice cream made this as my favorite between the two that I ordered. - Ice kacang: I had high hopes for this as I saw the picture. The grass jelly, sweet red beans, vanilla ice cream, and the shaved ice tasted good. However, it was just an average shaved ice for me (nothing spectacular). For $15 shaved ice, it had good portion. We had ice cream two nights when we were at Hilton Resort World. They only have three flavors which was disappointing. The first night we were there the employee was talking to another employee and ignored us for a few minutes so we waited. She finally took our order and had to put on gloves. She was going so slow we were wondering if she was half asleep or just disgusted we were there! The second night the woman waiting on us did the same thing. It was like we were bothering her! No smiles from anyone. Ice cream was ok but won't go back. Employees need to be friendly to the customers. If you don't like working with people, work somewhere else. Sweet Eats is located at the Famous Street Eats in the Resort World Hotel and Casino. Best way to get in and out is if you park in the Self parking garage, and then walk straight up on the designated walkway. And this is located on the south side of the hotel. I know it's not the most convenient way, but it is the best way if you don't valet your car. I was very interested to try their most popular item, the giant Ube Macaroon. Unfortunately it wasn't available at the time we were there. So instead, we opted for the Sticky Rice and Mango. It was very beautifully crafted! Taste wise, it's mediocre. Sorry, but my expectation was much higher. Service was polite and quick. I will definitely return to find out if the item is available and give another try! read more

The one-stop shop for all dessert items when at Resorts World Las Vegas. They have a number of ice creams, dipped apples, baked goods and desserts, shaved ice, chocolates, and sweets like candies and cotton candy. There is also a variety of little pastries that pull from different kinds of international desserts (ex. mango with sticky rice, but as a pastry). It was a lot of fun to circle around the whole stand because the entire thing is practically a sweets display. Weirdly enough, they're not on the general listings, which can be viewed using the various ordering screens around. Therefore, you can only order THERE. They have physical and digital (via QR) menus that can be found at their counters. They're a bit more in the back (specifically where the Famous Foods Street Eats really opens up) if you're coming in through the back entrance. Would recommend coming through there after utilizing the Resorts World Self Parking garage, then cross Goh Tong Way and follow the round horseshoe road/driveway. Hard to miss, you can see the giant Lucky Cat sculpture they have spinning on the top of the stand from nearly the entire food court. Plenty of seating for parties of all sizes (there are tables that can fit up to 8 people) and there's even a part of the eating area where they occasionally have a DJ as well as projectors to watch the game! The shaved ice was AMAZING, and they layered fillings and condensed milk inside the pile of snow as well as on top. Really appreciate the guy making it as well, he was super generous with everything lol. It was wonderful and their dipped apples (caramel apples but with additional coats, usually chocolate) were great to take home as a late-night snack. My friends and I were checking out Resorts World. We just ate and wanted something for dessert and this place was the only dessert option. This place was literally in the middle of the food court. There were some customers already ordering and majority were getting the shaved ice dessert. It looked good and we wanted to try ourselves. My friend and I decided to order the kacang shaved ice to share. It has red bean, grenadine, sweet milk, panden jelly, vanilla ice cream, peanuts, sweet corn, grass jelly and rose syrup. The person who took our order made it right in front of us. This thing is huge! I liked the red beans and grass jelly with vanilla ice cream. It was the perfect combo. I thought the sweet corn was a weird mix though. Definitely generous amount that was enough to share between three people and we still had half of it left. We got their Coconut Ube Macaron and it was very good! The ube flavor was strong and not subtle like most ube desserts. It wasn't too sweet either. Cendol shaved ice - 5/5 ~$17 This was delicious and huge. And I cannot say you get huge portions for a decent price often in Vegas. Toppings were delicious. Was so fun to eat. The worker who made this took her time and made it with so much care. After a few layers of shaved ice she would put more sauces and toppings to ensure everything was throughly distributed throughout the shaved ice, rather than just sitting on top. After visiting Trasnfix at resorts world, which is super cool by the way, we were in the mood for something sweet. It's a small shop in the middle of Famous Foods, we ordered the strawberry shaved ice to share, it comes with strawberry syrup, fresh strawberries, condensed milk and whipped cream on top. First, this shaved ice is GIGANTIC, we couldn't finish it amongst 3 people. It a huge pile of soft pillowy ice, with chunks of fresh strawberry, strawberry syrup throughout the entire mountain, and finally a sweet milk condensed on top. There were about 5 people who ordered after us, who got their ice cream (with hot, freshly made waffle cones), and crepes before us. I finally went up and asked where my crepe was. She gave me a dirty look and asked (with unappreciated attitude), what was your order. I showed her the receipt and continued to ignore me. I asked if my order was going to be made, she said, he's working on it now. The crepe was ok, there is no filling in the New Yorker, like advertised. Sweet Eats is one of the many pan-Asian food eateries that are part of the "Famous Foods Street Eats" food court located inside the newly opened Resorts World. Located dead-center in the middle of the food court, you can't miss the giant neon kitty statue on top of their kiosk. Sweet Eats was the only place that I wasn't disappointed in during my 3-day visit to the new food court. I was familiar with several of the other eateries, and was disappointed in almost all of them- a total let down. But Sweet Eats was the one shining light that kept me coming back each day. First and foremost, you simply must have their "cendol" shaved ice dessert. The version they have here is not the coconut milk version that I'm more familiar with at Indonesian establishments. They use sweet milk here and mix it with red bean paste, but it was delicious! So good, that I invited other friends to try it with me, and they all loved it. So, not what I was expecting, but just as good (like an ex-girlfriend's twin sister, who is totally different, yet just as fun to date). I also tried the strawberry shortcake shaved ice, which was a distant second, but still very decent for strawberry loyalists. You'll also find a whole slew of macaroons, candied/toffee apples, and pretty much every designer dessert known I've had in my lifetime. They were all pretty decent, but if you want something different, try the "cendol" here. The only thing I find annoying in this whole place (not singling out Sweet Eats), is that they only use electronic payment (credit/debit cards, ApplePay, etc). This is Vegas, and I always have cash leftover from the slot machines, and I really hate that I have to lug this around the whole place. But if this is the way of the future, then it is what it is. The shaved ice is huge - probably good to share for 4 people. They have pastries, desserts, candies and cookies. They also serve coffee if you are craving some caffeine. We were given a $35 drink credit at various places at the resort as part of our stay, one of which is Sweet Eats. When I mentioned to the cashier that I had a $35 "drink" credit, she advised me to use up the whole amount in one place to make it easier. She did NOT inform that day she would still break down my order for drinks and other items. So I was FORCED to order a shaved ice and a cheesecake for no good reason. I thought she was being helpful so I even tip her extra on top of it. When we checked out the next morning and saw our receipt via the TV, I was only given drink credit for the coffee and a bottle of sparkling water. Hence I "lost" the rest of my credit so I was pretty annoyed about that. Word of advice - use your drink credit wisely and only for drinks. read more

Sweet Eats is a standalone dessert bar inside Famous Foods Street Eats, a food hall at Resorts World inspired by the street food stalls in Southeast Asia.  Resorts World is the new hotel that just opened on the Vegas Strip in June 2021 (the most recent opening before that was the Cosmopolitan in 2010). Many of the places are Michelin Plate and Bib Gourmand-recognized hawker stands from Asia. Also, parking at Resort World is free and so is the WiFi (though you need to submit an email address). We ordered the Blue Raspberry Shaved Ice and shared it among three people. I was visiting from out of town, news about Resort World Has Been Everywhere. I tried most of the food..... And the curry and the dumplings are the the everything. My family and i wanted to try the dessert bar which i have seen video on youtube prior to going.A true kids dream. There was this lady at the register and she was by her self besides the two cooks with her. I was trying to ask the lady about to dessert because of allergies and things, she could not answer my question or mis communication cause she had accent but at first glance i thought she was black. I can tell she was flustered because of all the customers , so she kind rush us along. I went over to get my apple and just had such a pleasant experience with the pastry lady. She was not on able to answer my question but also make sure nothing was cross contaminated with my apple because my son has a nut allergy. She did a thorough whip down, change gloves, and even got another cutting board to relieve my stress even more. She crack jokes and interacted with everyone who came near. You truely have a gem right there, before we walked away i told her about my experience at the register and how her alone made up for the bad disposition i received. Besides that everything was amazing. We got the strawberry and cream without the cookies (because of allergies) and we also receive the coconut tapioca which was refreshing ( love the sauce at the bottom of the cup. I dont know it was her first time at that station ot if she was just not having a good day but who ever at that station should be well versed and more aware of the menu.
