The lady who helped us was as sweet as could be. The gift shop is located on the first floor of the home and had everything from candy, wooden horse toys, Santa figures, books and more. We both bought Swedish candy and I was able to sit in the original owners rocking chair. Mike B. bought a lot of delicious sweets. The space is small, it's open to regular customers to purchase some of the items such as the candy and popcorn, they can purchase the items at the register which is literally less than 12 feet away from you. For $115 per person, I don't think it's fair that you're practically having a tasting in a candy store. It would have been better if the tasting was in a separate area from where customers couldn't come buy the desserts. The tasting was good and as I said, you could tell time and effort had been put into it, I just feel as though the price does not equate to the experience. As stated below, there are better tastings for a cheaper cost.
