Brightly lit, decorated minimally - it's all designed to make the bud stand out. And stand out it does! In the middle of the store are different varieties of their bud. Whether it's blue dream you're looking for, or OG kush, they have whatever you need. And they're all individually housed in this nifty contraption that pumps out their scent for you to sniff. The staff is so chill and chirpy, you can tell that they're happy with the products they offer. It made us take home a bunch of stuff to try. I'm so grateful serendipity led us to this dispensary.

The bud tenders at Rise don't care about their job, they're straight lazy! They want you to go straight to the computers and order or do an online order because they are ill informed on their own products. I have not have a genuine experience with one person that works there BUT that guy. Your loss. Sweet Flower is far superior when considering where to buy dro from whilst in Pasadena. The kicker for this post was that Rise has a wonderful new "point system" no one EVER BOTHERED TO TELL ME ABOUT. APparEntLY the only way to actually receive your rewards from such point system is if you scan a QR code BEFORE every purchase. Why does it take me asking about my points for someone behind the counter to consider that I may want rewards? Why won't they do their job, and idk, ask about my points, even? What happened to work ethic and Trying? I don't see any of those bud tenders ever actually attending to the people nor care if they get their money's worth. To the man with long dark hair, your curtness did a job well done. In any sense, I'm never shopping here again. That point system bs was not cool and I've missed out on a LOT of rewards because of the incompetence of a few people working at this dispensary.

I found a photo of a green and yellow lei they had previously sold to past customer and decided to call in and ask if they had one in stock. The graduation was a few days out so I was pretty rushed to find a lei in time. I called in and spoke to the person (I think the name was Ronnie?) and they kindly informed me that they would have to see if they can make a yellow and green colored lei in time. They gave other colored options just in case the green and yellow was unavailable. After I got off the phone, they let me know the price (about $71) which needed to be paid before they can put the order in. I venmoed the money over and received a photo of the lei the day before graduation. I let her know that I will be in the morning of the graduation to pick it up and everything went smoothly! Communication was great, pick up time was easy and my cousin was thrilled with the lei! The price was a bit high though but the customer service was great!

My honey and I came in to purchase a boutonniere for his 50th birthday celebration. From the moment we walked in, the energy felt off. I immediately noticed there was no clear explanation of the process -- I had to ask questions just to understand how things worked. Despite that, I gave very clear and specific instructions: a red rose, wrapped with black trim, gold-sprayed leaves, and baby's breath. On the day of pickup, I called to confirm the order was ready and was met with rudeness over the phone. When I arrived and saw the boutonniere, I was completely disappointed -- there was no baby's breath. When I asked about it, I was told, "Oh, I didn't put it. I thought what I added looked more elegant." Imagine paying for something and having someone change your order based on their personal preference. That is unacceptable. I had to firmly express my concerns and insist that it be corrected to match what we originally discussed and ordered. While I waited for it to be fixed, it was frustrating to say the least. Instead of baby's breath, she added small yellow flowers that would have completely clashed with his suit and the color theme of his party. Thank goodness this was not our wedding day -- the outcome could have been an absolute disaster. I'm sharing this so others are aware: double-check your order before leaving. Unfortunately, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this business.

If you support work racism and discrimination among certain employees then you support Sweet Flower. I won't label them all like that, but one of them is Kira, not sure if it's Karen or Kira. Rude, disrespectful, self centered. I blame the owner for hiring a douche like her, she even barely know about cannabis. She acted will full racism and a discrimination towards me while I was working there. Zero star if I can. F*** corporate cannabis and everyone supporting that. This industry is owned by rich white men who barely know about cannabis, all they care about is their greedy ass pockets and boosting their ego by acting shit around their employees. Many dispensaries around Pasadena are better. This place is also sized like a tuna can, for his greedy ass to maximize profit. People only go there because they have no choice sometimes. I will not recommend Sweet Flower in Pasadena. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else. They signed me up to receive $20 discount per order, after I reached a total spend of $600. Now I have spent about $1000 at this location since they opened. It's discount time. Last week I received my $20 discount. This week I did not. Why? I was told I have not reached the minimum spend. I asked he check again. The guy checked, and said I did not spend enough to earn my discount. What? That's not true, besides I got it last week. Dude just stood there but he held firm, and refused to give me my discount. I canceled the order and left. I was the only customer in the store, and they didn't even try to save the sale. Who does this? I came in to buy. It was a slam dunk. Was ready to pay and they let me walk. What a dopey store (pun intended). If this is how Sweet Flower treats repeat customers then they don't need my business. read more

Strange Passive Aggressive Sales People- A HAZE OF MISERY looms over this whole establishment. Especially avoid the sales- woman- TRULY A MISERABLE ANTAGONISTIC PERSON! Advice on the use of medicinal cannabis should only be offered by a knowledgeable team of experts, not passive aggressive, misanthropic, customer -hating, strange sales- people, who know nothing, can't answer a few simple questions, and give the oddest, uncomfortable, unfriendly and ugly attitude. I am a very discerning stoner these days, particular about my strains and picky when it comes to edibles. For a smaller store, Sweet Flower is able to fit a great selection of their best products. I made a quick stop the other day and Arielle pointed me to a few choices of flower similar to my favorite, Jack Herrer. She was very knowledgeable of the effects of the strains and gave me great recommendations - Orion's Gate (sativa) and a limited time Rings of Saturn (hybrid) as a complement. And I asked for a loosely defined 'fun' edible to try, so she handed me a Garden Society gummy. This stylish little store is my go-to, and they even have treats for my dog! read more
