Greeted warmly by the staff, a quick look at the menu and I ordered one scoop of black raspberry chocolate chip ice cream, and one scoop of S'mores As my two scoops of ice cream was being prepared, the nice young lady at the front rang me up. It was a little over six dollars for the two scoops plus I left a 20% tip so I'm thinking this was some around eight bucks. They do take tap and credit card pay. Once I received my ice cream order, I proceeded outside to sit at one of the picnic tables on the right hand side of the business This little area is interesting, as it was at one time an industrial manufacturing facility, and the owners don't seem to be trying to make it welcoming. So this business installed a few picnic tables and flower boxes, who h made it somewhat inviting. But I'm still sitting in the parking lot. The s'mores ice cream was so creamy, marshmallow based with a lovely creamy, delightful, vanilla ice cream, graham crackers and pieces of chocolate chips added. This choice, as I was told, is of the more popular choices . I would strongly suggest trying this flavor out. Now, the black raspberry chocolate chip ice cream was some of the best I ever had. So creamy, so raspberry, so chocolate, so sweet! Plus, I loved how the s'mores melted into this flavor, making a wonderful combination in that cup. This place is a great destination if you want ice cream in Plainville. I just wish it was in a better location. As I was sitting there eating my ice cream, the place did start to fill up with guests I don't like the plaza location that it sits in, it seems a little too industrial and not welcoming. I didn't like that the place looked closed. Maybe a lighted open sign would work better.
