I only got a small size which was good enough it comes with two scoops and a medium comes with three. It was very sweet and tasty. The girl working behind the counter could have had a smile on her face but she seemed and not such a great mood otherwise I would give this five stars. There's only one table inside so you can't really sit in there it's basically a get ice cream and go type of place. There's also one table outside I'm pretty sure they bring that one in when it's colder out or raining. They do have one person restrooms. I was thinking about getting their Lucky Charm's ice cream, but it was close to the end of March (the month of St. Patrick's Day), so they were all out. I came here since the one near me in evergreen south Windsor closed down. This location is still opened and I was in the area in Meriden for my nieces birthday. We came in with 4 girls and 5 adults for ice cream. I have not had their ice cream in so long. So of course I asked for samples to see which taste the best for me. This place is great. You can select from their signature collection or make your own! There's tons and tons of flavors to pick from including mint and strawberry cheesecake. SO mouthwatering to think about. The greatest plus is toppings are unlimited for no charge!! I've never been to an ice cream place that offered this kind of magic. The only sad thing is that they only sell ice cream in cups, no cones. Aside from ice cream, the place sells milkshakes and cakes - way better than the average Carvel cake! The space is about average sized but a little bit weirdly laid out because of their large ice cream counter. There's not much seating space but it shouldn't be hard to snag a table if there's 2-3 small groups at the place. No complimentary WiFi (but you can always snag Starbuck's WiFi next door since they're close enough) and no restrooms either. Parking is in their front lot - shared with other shops nearby and the very busy Starbucks next door so you might have to fight to the death for a good spot in front of the place. I am a FAN of cold stone creamery and I drove 15 miles to get me my Coffee Lovers. This is the closest location for me and I don't mind the drive. I love the ice creams here. The reason for a 3 star rating are two reasons - (1) Unfriendly and unhappy staff (2) Bad presentations of the ice creams for display (two of the sorbets that I asked for was all watery and the staff said it's not good, then why keep it there). There was a wait on a mid February evening, the staff didn't seem to care to get the crowd moving. Oh well, I like Cold Stone Creamery and I'll be back. read more

My phone number was never registered only my email and they refused to honor my coupon. Wouldn't even look at the email with the redemption instructions indicated. By the way the daughter was the only professional one. I showed up 12 mins before close I get it kinda late open sign and door is unlocked. I think it's a good I'm told no we are closed then I get the story. No one wants to work late I get it but after a 70 hour work week I just want some ice cream durning open hours. Cold Stone has delicious ice cream, it's just an inarguable truth. With an assortment of changing ice cream flavors and a variety of toppings it would be impossible to not find some combination that tickles your fancy. I personally am not in love with their cakes compared to just straight ice cream with toppings - they are a little light on the mix-ins inside the cake, perhaps due to the nature of however those cakes are made - but they are better than other ice cream cakes out there overall. What I really love about this particular Cold Stone is the service. Whoever is in charge of hiring for this location gets a gold star. The staff is always extremely amicable. In one particular case where there was a mix-up with a cake order I really felt like they went above and beyond to try to rectify the situation. I don't come here often, but when I do, we never have an issue. Until the other night. Came here with my husband and son on 09/05/18. We had the joys of getting stuck with the new kid who was on his first night on the job. He had several hickeys on his neck which was a turn off and you couldn't help but stare at. I mean who does that for their first day of work? Too be fair, I did feel bad for him because he seemed so lost and the rest of the staff didn't seem to care or offer any help. He was nice and kept apologizing, but it was just too much just for some icecream. Management needs to implement better training for new hires. When I compare Coldstone's to others in the 'business' it seems to me like theirs is just superior all around. Theirs is creamier and thicker.. by a mile, there really is no comparison if you ask me. I also think there ice cream is made with fresher ingredients, compared to others which I have tasted.. and I have certainly tasted A LOT of ice cream over the years! I confess I don't know exactly what they do (or do not put in all there flavors but I can taste the difference immediately. Where as others have more of that grainy or even chalky flavor I think Coldstones is just better overall Obviously its more expensive then other places, but like the famous saing goes: You get what you pay for. The ingredients tastes purer and are less processed. So if your a health freak (which I am certainly not)then this is the place for you to indulge in your guilty little plesaures! p.s. Who says you can't enjoy cold ice cream on a cold winters day? Even if the air outside is colder then the ice cream inside. In that case, and you don't even need a fridge, just go outside. Best Ice Cream I ever had. There is nothing like fresh ice cream and watching someone mix the ingredients in right infront of you. Take it to go by buying a quart of it. Stay away from the milkshakes. I got 3 and all three times it was too thick and the flavor wasn't all that great. The employee behind the counter told me the ice cream is too thick for the blender and they frequently burn them out, bummer. They have cakes as well though I have not tested that. The parking in this location is awful and the price is almost as much as a full quart in the super market, but the taste keeps this at a high 5 star. Rarely do I ever go out for ice cream, and yes Coldstone's ice ceam is pretty good especially with all of the toppings. But I'm not here to rate the ice cream, I could RAVE on and on about the cakes!!! I recently bought a large round Heath/Chocolate Devil's Food cake as a thank you present, and everyone LOVED it!!!! The the fudge like topping is awesome, and of course the ice cream on the inside is as well. But, what makes this cake different is that it has an actual layer of cake. I received such good feed back, I decided to get another for my dad for this past Father's Day! And once again, everyone loved it! Let me start by saying, I normally don't like ice cream, it's okay but nothing that I crave. So when my girlfriend said let's go to this place, I said "okay why not but I'm not going to have anything" LIES the ice cream here is sooo good it's almost sinful and the staff was very helpful. After several minutes of checking out all the flavors, my son got a cotton candy cone flavor with sprinkles which he devoured in 2 seconds and I got a sugar cookie flavor in a cone (again I'm thinking it's just ice cream) with Kit Kats and gummy bears inside. F.y.i gummy bears are not great when they're frozen but the ice cream was fantastic. I also proceeded to devour it just like my son did. Waited in line for over 10 mins, to then be told that the store closed 6 minutes ago, so if you were not being helped already that you would have to leave and come back tomorrow. They lost about 15 customers because all of those waiting in lines with us were not happy, and will probably choose a different option next time, i know we will! this is fantastic ice cream and doesn't need any toppings but they have about 20 different things you can mix in at no charge. . i love how they mix the toppings in rather than just throw a spoonful on top, and they will add as much as your fat ass desires. portions are very very generous .
