The place is so spacious that it also has ample amount of seats available sit. There are tables and chairs for customers to sit and because the place is pretty big, you can enjoy your pastries with friends without feeling like it's crowded! I love it! The only reason why I gave this rating a 4/5 stars is because the diaper changing station in the women's bathroom NEEDS A NEW ONE! The part where I'm supposed to lay my child on to change their diaper was not secure. It was crooked and tilts downwards so if my child is laying on it, their body wouldn't be parallel to the floor. Their body would be diagonal which severely increases the possibility of them rolling off the diaper changing table and hitting the floor. While I changed my daughter's diaper, I used part of my thigh to push upwards and support the diaper changing table JUST IN CASE. Safety is extremely important. Please invest in a new diaper changing station in the women's bathroom for the safety of all customers and babies! And please also add one to the men's bathroom so it's available for dad's too! read more

Really great place to stop and get pastries in the area! I've been coming here for many years, and I'm glad to see the quality has never wavered. They have easily over 50 types of pastries, and I think for sure that this is the main reason to come here. Most of the pastries are between three and six dollars, and I have yet to try one I don't like. There is plenty of seating, and the setup is very COVID-friendly, so everything is individually wrapped. Great little café!! The location seems a bit hidden as it's in a strip mall that's not overly busy, but this café had none stop customers going in and out and I can't totally see why. When you walk in you have the option to grab a basket and shop the bakery and then get in line to pay for those items and order from the café. It's not a secret I do have a weakness for sweets and that's why I had to stop here . Easy parking and plenty of parking spaces. Upon entering the place was very clean, nice, and it smelled amazing! They have the bakery and prepackaged goodies displayed out where you grab a tray and walk around the to grab your selections. The sandwiches are pretty good. The drinks....well, the lychee green tea is always bitter. I tried to order a normal tea (pomegranate) on ice. It's on their menu for $4.5 +/-. Attempt 1: ice, no flavor Attempt 2: ice, 1% flavor Attempt 3: ice, 2% flavor, tea bag floating helplessly Who puts a tea bag straight in cold ice water? All you had to do was 50% hot water, let the tea brew for 2/3 min and then throw ice in. I gave up, and don't bother getting a drink anymore. After eating at a neighboring restaurant within the same strip mall, we came to get milk tea drinks about 6 weeks ago. We had already parked a lot earlier before we went into the previous restaurant. The free parking lot is large, so parking is always available. There were a lot of employees working that night, most of them behind the counter, taking and preparing the orders. Just about all of the employees had smiles on their faces while interacting with This Sweet Hut Bakery and Cafe location is pretty big, and the line was long. Fortunately, the employees were quick and efficient, and got the line moving fast. Unfortunately, when we walked around looking for a table, there was only one available, but it was so close to where people were waiting for their orders. There were some tables that had only one person each sitting at them, using their laptops and not having any food or drinks at their table. So inconsiderate! Since I hadn't been here before, I decided to look at the desserts in their glass display cases. Oh man - the cakes looked so great! And I know that the amount of sweetness (sugar!) is a lot less than, say, American desserts, so, for me, these would be perfect. I was already full, though, and I wasn't even sure if I'd have room in my stomach for my milk tea, so I didn't get any breads ... or tarts ... or cakes ... or mousse ... or custard ... or pudding ... or brûlée ... or tiramisu. *sigh* The restaurant wasn't that clean looking, as there was trash on the floor, and some leftover cups that previous customers left behind on tables were just pushed to the side by the next set of customers at the tables. Yeah, who wants to handle someone else's trash? We finally got our drinks - 2 milk teas with boba. Mine had less ice and less sugar. R had less ice. I ordered a bunch of stuff. The bbq pork in puff pastry was nice and flaky with a good meat ratio. The Kaya Roti was my accidental favorite. I bought it to try something new and it paid off. A coconut custard like filling with a hint of matcha. The cheesecake was okay and not a stand out. By the way, if you order coffee it is usually with milk and sugar unless you indicate otherwise. Sweet Hut Bakery (Duluth) has traditionally been a good establishment that I've frequented over the years for the occasional sweet tooth. My wife and I were in the area and thought to try the savory choices for the first time. I can't write a review on the food as I had to send it back before I eventually asked for a refund on the order. I asked about my order after waiting 20 minutes and seeing other patrons leaving with their orders despite arriving after me. I was informed there was a problem with the printer in the kitchen, so my order wasn't received by the cooks. How did everyone else get theirs but mine wasn't received? I wouldn't know. Nevertheless, good customer service would've been asking a customer standing in front of the counter for an extended period of time if they needed assistance, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. Next, I provided the staff with my receipt as they didn't have a copy of it. I reminded the young lady that I had sweet potato fries with my order and my wife's order. Imagine my surprise when the food was brought out with two orders of the wrong fries. I also had a separate order of plum fries that I didn't see when the food was eventually brought out the first time or the second time. I was assured the issue (wrong fries) was a quick fix and they'd get to it. Fifteen minutes later I found myself growing tired of waiting and opted to get a refund. Even that was more complicated than it had to be! The only item we received was my wife's drink. That was made quickly and accurately. Everything else was either wrong or just forgotten on top of what ended up being a substantial wait time. I found myself regretting the decision to eat at Sweet Hut Bakery. The final straw for me was having to haggle over the refund for food I didn't receive as well as the tip I initially left! I was and still am offended that the woman handling the refund process insisted on keeping the entire tip despite the obviously poor customer service. I thought waiting a day would make me feel less disappointed by this experience. I was wrong. I cannot in good faith recommend this establishment to anyone else based on the experience I just had on 2/25/24. read more

I love Sweethut!The interior is super spacious so you have so much room to pick and choose where you dine, it's also a self service place where you can pick up your bread on a tray that you choose, and take it to the register to pay! it's super independent and honestly i love it. they have a variety of drinks and different food that you can dine in or take home! We decided to check out this bakery today. When I am on vacation it's one of my favorite things to do. We got some pastries for our room but decided to have some treats there. My son and I shared a tiramisu cup, caramel brûlée and a Vietnamese coffee. The Tiramisu was delicious but had to much cocoa power. The Caramel brûlée was a layered dessert with cake layers and it was good. The coffee was strong and tasted yummy. I picked out a few items to try. The mango pastries bun is pretty good, tasted almost like a mango smoothie. I enjoyed the bbq buns as well. I like how the pastries are a decent size and it satisfied the cravings. The place is a bit small and can get crowded. I would definitely go early before they run out of certain items. I made a stop at this Sweet Hut before I drove home from Atlanta. I bought a massive haul of goodies from their impressive selection because frankly, there's nowhere to get baked goods like this in my hometown, and I've been wanting to try this kind of food forever. Located in a large strip mall, this Sweet Hut is quite impressive in size and the sheer volume of offerings. You can get savory food as well as entrees in addition to their pastries, cakes, and boba tea, but it was too early in the morning for me to feel up to all that. I hope I can visit again for another try. Each item on the display has a fairly detailed card describing the pastry and what it's made of / filled with, which was great for total neophytes like me. They're beautifully arranged and plentiful. The staff was prompt in their service and quite friendly. Here's all that I got, with my thoughts on each thing: A red bean moon cake. This was my least favorite item. I enjoyed the subtle sweet earthiness of the red beans (a first for me), but didn't like the egg yolk inside at all. It just wasn't for me, but that's okay. I think it could maybe grow on me if I kept trying it. The outside of the pastry was very soft and enjoyable. Traditional moon cake with lotus and sunflower seeds: one of my two favorites! Perfect level of sweetness, super buttery outer shell, nice crunch from the sunflower seeds. Would get again and again. Violet: my other favorite! Mind blowingly soft and pillowy bread with balanced sweetness from the mochi and taro. Beautiful purple colors, too. A very unique dessert. Custard bun: probably my third favorite item. Again, insanely soft bread with creamy sweet custard inside. The bread reminds me a bit of a yeast roll in the level of sweetness. My only critique is I could've used a little more custard inside. Rocky road bun: good flavor, but unfortunately pretty dry. There were a couple bits of chocolate that were a little waxy, too. I think it would be good with some coffee or something though. Chocolate Hokkaido cupcake: I really liked the little dollop of chocolate mousse/cream/icing on top. I thought it would be shot through the whole cupcake but it was just on the top. Cupcake was a little dry without it. Not as sweet as I was expecting. Lastly, coffee milk tea to hydrate on the road. Perfect sweetness, good serving size, right amount of ice. Not a super intense coffee flavor. Really enjoyed it! I should've gotten it with boba but I just wasn't feeling anything other than coffee so early in the morning. I had an absolutely thoroughly enjoyable time getting to explore new foods through Sweet Hut! I'm not sure when I'll be in the Atlanta area next, but I definitely want to make another stop to try more offerings! read more

What's not to love here!! In a nutshell, This place is big , stays consistent, fast service, tons of options, plenty of parking , and prices are fair. Everything I've ever tried here has always been pretty good to delicious. It started off as just simple bubble tea for me but has evolved into my favorite bakery and seeing what they have new and fun and exciting. They have tons of options for breads whether you like savory or sweet, they also have snack such as nuggets and fries, they have beautifully decorated cakes that aren't too sweet, and a showcase of different desserts if breads aren't your thing. What happened to this place? What used to be a busy and fully stocked inventory cafe has now turned into a pretty empty, dirty cafe. I wish I took a picture but the trashcans were overflowing with trash, there was trash/food all over the tables, there didn't seem to be many people working hence the lack of inventory. This Sweet Hut location is large with the amazing drink selection, great desserts, and solid food options! It's probably one of 10 best late night study locations in the greater Atlanta area. However, it's obvious the owners neglect some of the details. A ton of visible wear and tear on the furnishings. Bits of trash are everywhere in the evenings, unclear if any employee is tasked with tossing trash on the floor, on tables, and in seats. It was extremely packed today. The line wrapped all the way to the end near the bread. The buns and baked goods are good but the drinks are always average. They have terrible boba. Please don't get their milk teas. Yuck! The staff today were very sweet and the line moved pretty quickly. I think the prices have gone up but I think that's normal due to inflation. I love coming to Sweet Hut, but this time things fell a little flat. While waiting for our boba, it took about eight minutes to get ours, but usually it's much quicker than this time. My friend had a croissant and it was really bland and dry. It didn't puff up and it was really flat. The boba was pretty good, I had the mango green tea, my usual order, and it was good. The strawberry milk tea and earl gray tea were also superb. Unfortunately, the floors were extremely dirty, and one of the chairs was broken. Honestly, this experience was not up to my expectations, but Sweet Hut has been a lot better than this experience. It's usually more efficient and consistent, but the food was still pretty good. I would still come back here for my daily dose of boba, but probably would just leave after getting my food and drinks. read more

Absolutely loved my experience at Sweet Hut. My husband and I both ordered taro milk tea, and we ordered a strawberry slush for our daughter.
