We got star cookies that we enjoyed, crème brûlée was a little more charred than I'd like, I prefer brown and not black on the brûlée part, coconut empanadas were good. It's a nice little bakery it's clean and inviting. The cases were stocked so many choices. After a few minutes we were greeted the person who helps us was nice not very engaging but was pleasant. We got an assortment of goodies was hard to chose however we did enjoy what we got I loved that they where not overly sweet my only small complaint is they didn't seem fresh fresh maybe a day or two old but with how low the prices where it's not a big complaint I would definitely go back if in the area. read more

Family owned business. I got valentines cookies- you can taste the butter but it was very overly saturated. My husband said the apple empanadas were good and my kid ate it as well. (Apparently that's a top seller). I definitely recommend you ask them for their top recommendation before ordering though! read more

I saw a buddy from a FB group went here so I figured I'd check it out. I got a variety of goodies, so much to choose from!! The atmosphere was clean and very friendly. 1) The maple bar. Not as good as Chucks donuts. The donuts itself was stale and definitely not fresh. The frosting was ok though there was not much on the donut. Very thin layer. 2) crème brûlée. This was like cold soft scrambled eggs. The topping, which is usually crunchy, was like cold maple syrup. 3) Russian cookies. Absolutely spot on. These were very delicious! I stopped by this cute bakery while in Auburn & loved the sweets! The prices were fair, too. I got a lemon bar, crème brûlée, strawberry yoyo, vanilla cake pop, and a Bavarian cream donut. The lemon bar was my fave! Absolutely delicious & highly recommend. I loved the cake pop & the crème brûlée was good. I didn't love the strawberry yoyo (a little dry) but maybe it's just not my type of sweet. Either way, happy to support a new small business & I'll definitely be back to try more things! * A public note to the person who left a 1-star review for this new small business, knowing it was their very first review: Why don't you just call the business & give them verbal feedback so they can actually have a chance to fix the issue before getting blasted online with the lowest possible rating you can give? Maybe you can learn something from the way I gave feedback above. At least give them an opportunity to do better rather than trash them based on a single empanada you had. I went with my sister to buy a baby shower cake for my daughter . My first grand baby, so this is a special event. The lady that helped us didn't understand English and didn't speak English either. We wanted a white cake , with cream and fruit inside the cake, with sour cream frosting ,took us 20 minutes trying to get that across to her. Plus they didn't have a book to look at with pictures, you'd think? It was the worst cake ever, so freaking dry we had to either have ice cream with it or a glass of milk to wash it down. The pastry's and cakes from this bakery were very bland, dry and not sweet enough. I didn't try any of the cookies so I can't speak for them. This is more of a Spanish/Mexican bakery with more traditional Mexican pastry. It has some westerner cakes, cookies and donuts. The mexican breads/pastry's I trued were VERY dry and dense, the scone had a lovely tender texture/moisture but was bland and not sweet at all. Beautiful cakes and pastries set in a nicely kept contemporary space. Nice assortment of Hispanic and typical bakery goods. The pineapple empanada was quite good. Add a guava selection and perfection would be had! Some of the items were just a little dry but the friendly and professional staff makes up for any short comings.
