I am not one to be petty and put people down, but I believe it's time someone says something about how unprofessional this place is. For context, I had messaged the owner to confirm the address where my fiancé would pick up the lechon (roasted pig) and communicated that he would be picking it up at 1:15 pm, to which she responded in agreement. However, when my fiancé arrived, the lechon was still not ready, and they explained that it was due to the weather, which is ridiculous because the previous day was much better than it had been all week. Furthermore, after cutting through the pig to serve to guests, half of the roasted pig was not fully cooked, as can be seen in the attached picture. This is a health code violation. Therefore, I am making this post because this business is not only unprofessional but also risks the health of people. In conclusion, please take into consideration before ordering at Seattle Manila Oriental Store.

SOOOOO nice to meet the staff and the food is delicious! Stumbled upon this spot because it's near my work in Auburn and I feel like I won the lottery. The owners are so warm and welcoming. The food is the ultimate comfort food!

Ask the Community - Seattle Manila Oriental Store

Do you have a deli or restaurant in your store and do you serve filipino food and does your menu change daily? Why do I see pictures of food on their website and do they carry lumpia wrappers?

There's no deli or Filipino food like you would see at Phil Cuisine, they have halo halo and a sari sari store with Philippines items, chips, shampoo, can meats, sardines etc

I've ordered for First communions, birthdays and just because it's that good. I removed a star because they have room to grow. Depending on who helps you, some of the girls are not the nicest. I went to order a cake before and the lady was treating me like I was bothering her. I was trying to tell her my order but she kept interrupting me. Finally I asked her if she could let me finish what I'm saying and not interrupt. *phew* but she was able to finally take my order and every other time has been well (when not dealing with the specific person mentioned above). I've also ordered a latte and individual little mousse cakes. Yes, they have the viral fruit mousse cakes that are hyper-realistic, trompe l'œil pastries designed to look exactly like real pieces of fruit like mangoes, strawberries, peaches, or lemons. When cut open, they reveal beautiful, contrasting layers of airy fruit mousse, a intense fruit center (like a gelée or confit), and a thin sponge cake base. They are finished with a glossy mirror glaze or a thin, crunchy chocolate shell to mimic the texture of real fruit skin! Try them out, I know you'll love them. I'll end with saying, they could make the ambience a little better. It would be amazing to have a spot to sit and enjoy a party inside their store but they add the two little table and seats outside. It's in a sketch looking shopping center with a laundry mat next door and Chinese restaurant. Weirdos sometimes walk by so, now you know.

I went on a tuesday at 10am and there was no line and a good amount left. I got the pistachio mango and coconut. She also has cheesecake that is covered in chocolate and small cakes and macaroons. I paid cash so I saved a few dollars but the prices were not crazy expensive and reasonable. Pistachio: 8/10 wish there was some pichachio crunch filling. mango: 8/10 light airy cream with fresh mangos. coconut with mango/passionfruit: 10/10 this was one i have been wanting to try and it was so light and the fruit paired well.

We decided we wanted to get them a small wedding cake enough for two people so they could have a festive zoom wedding. Our plans were limited since we needed to find someone who made beautiful cakes and could also deliver since we don't have any friends or family to do it. I tried getting in touch with a few other places but none of them were as friendly and willing to help make it happen. Renee was amazing! She made time to chat about my idea and was willing to hand deliver the cake the day of the wedding as a surprise. She listened to what I wanted visually and made it look exactly how I envisioned. She was also texting me photos of the finished product and making communication really easy. The cake was beautiful, she delivered it and my brother and his fiancé were over the moon! They thought the cake was beautiful **and they said it was delicious** and it totally made their wedding feel special. I really truly appreciate Renee for delivering the cake during a snow storm and making our surprise happen. Such an awesome experience!

I strongly recommend Renee's Custom Cakes if you live or are having an event within driving distance of Covington.

My vegan friends who came to visit stopped by here twice during their time here and said it was the best vegan cake they've ever had. Best pumpkin cake I've ever had. You really cant go wrong with any flavor. The cake is so moist and flavorful, you can tell they use high quality ingredients. Spouse had a cheese cheddar scone - warm it when you get it home. I tried the vegan layered butter cream espresso cake - didn't care for it, to me it's a bit veganish - it just wasn't that good and not much espresso taste. I will make a better homemade cake to me that was a fail. Even for $12. A slice I won't eat it. I'm sure some of the others must have been better. You order, you stand and wait and still are guilted into at least a 15% tip. They don't have adequate parking and most is paid parking to run on and get a sweet treat . The pride flags - June is over - I think it might be an LGBTQ bakery, I didn't see one man working. It's larger than it appears, not for the customer area. It's clean, and the cashier is friendly enough. I disagree for having to feel I need to tip when I pay to park and walk 50 steps, and have to stand and wait for my order. I saw another poor review posted on the wall and then it was recindered (maybe after public humiliation they marked it thst way, I wasn't impressed with that it seems like bullying. My review will probably end up on the wall, but that's cool. I doubt I will be back.
