Carma's solution....wait for it...buy drapes that are already made and have a seamstress add length and flourish to those, which equals a custom look for me at a pocketbook friendly price. Plus she is cute as can be, sweet, and very flexible. Soft lighting highlights the fine details of beautifully crafted tables, plush sofas, and intricate decor. - Aesthetic Appeal: The ambiance is inviting and serene, with well-thought-out displays that make you imagine how the furniture would look in your home. - Indifferent Staff: Salespeople are present, but they seem preoccupied. They were quietly chatting among themselves, paying little attention to customers. The contrast of Beautiful vs. Unwelcoming was striking. The juxtaposition of the store's luxurious, inviting decor with the indifferent, almost cold demeanor of the staff creates an unsettling contrast. Weird vibe here. I left without making a purchase. I do want to point out that the City Home store on 1101 SE 3rd Ave. inPortland doesn't share this vibe. I'll just go there next time.
