Warning: Punitive No Show Policy Sweet Mia is awesome, which is why we keep coming back. However, never make the mistake of booking on the wrong day (even if it was an accident). You will waste the money because they will charge you as if you showed up and will not call you. Then when you show up on the wrong day, your birthday, they will try and charge you again. Kelsey was absolutely incredible! She did such a great job on my nails and was so kind. Also, Nhu was amazing and so sweet! They have great staff. I love that there is an option for a more natural manicure that doesn't damage your nails. She was so knowledgeable and explained all of the details so that I could be confident in the service I was receiving! Highly recommend this salon and the service. read more

I will say they did a decent job on our nails but they are all so violently off putting it's actually insane and something I've never before witnessed in my life. When we walked in the receptionist didn't even greet us or look at us. They all seemed extremely annoyed with us for being there. On top of that the chairs don't massage, only vibrate. read more

My bestie made a reservation for us to have the citrus pedicure. When I looked at the website, I was already excited to see their non toxic approach, zero gravity chairs, and zen atmosphere. They had a great selection of colors to choose from- we each quickly made our choices. We are headed to Pvr on Tuesday for a girls getaway- and of course needed our toes to look fabulous. I decided to run out to the car to leave my coat so I didn't need to deal with it in the salon. I happen to have noticed a sign at the entrance that said they had coffee, tea, water on request. As well as blankets and neck wraps. I knew I didn't want a beverage. I have a tiny bladder... sorry for tmi... But I should have asked for the blanket and neck wrap. I'm always cold- plus I'm from California. It slipped my mind when I came back in. My friend was in her chair already, and I went to join her in mine. We loved our zero gravity chairs. The citrus foot soak smelled amazing- and the water felt so perfect. We chatted with my friends' technician for a bit- she was delightful. Mine was finishing up with someone else, and joined later. My girl was efficient, but never spoke to me other than to ask if I brought flip flops. I was cold during my service. I really wish I had a blanket and neck warmer. Not sure if it would have been better if I wasn't right by the door. They were busy- so the door opened often. People even came in to buy the made in house lotion. My friend was offered how deep she wanted her massage to be. I was not. So it seems to be hit or miss with who you get for your services. My girl finished 5 minutes earlier- and started 10 minutes later. So far- both of our feet look great Plenty of parking. Very clean read more

This is my new favorite place to get my nails done. I had not had a shellac manicure in a couple of years because I didn't feel like it was good for my nails and didn't want to get into the upkeep again. My friend told me about this place and I had an event coming up and decided it would be nice to have polished nails. They don't use toxic ingredients here and they don't use drills. I ended up getting a shellac manicure and a classic pedicure. San did my manicure and Kate did my pedicure. They were fabulous and paid attention to detail. I loved the atmosphere, it was like being in a spa. It was quiet and very relaxing. The pedicure chairs were the most comfortable i have been in. I'm now hooked! I am going regularly for a manicure now. I am surprised how long the shellac is lasting, I can go about 3 weeks instead of the usual 2 weeks I used to do. They do take walk ins but I would recommend getting an appointment; they stay pretty busy. read more

I absolutely adore Sweet Mia. In fact, it has become the only place I will allow myself to get a pedicure at. Their seasonal pedicures are so lovely and refreshing. From the decor to the music, you can expect a calm and relaxing environment to welcome you. I love the neutral nail colors they have, and my favorite part is the massage that is included with each service. They definitely take their time as well, which is great because I never feel rushed through my appointment. Their tools are clean, and they use organic products which I feel is so important. I was really excited to try this place with my mom, but quite frankly I couldn't even get through the door because the scheduling person was beyond rude to me. I told her I was interested in getting a mani / pedi, but before I could even tell her which day she informed me they were fully booked all week, when I finally told her I wanted Friday she interrupted and said there is absolutely NO way they can do that they are fully booked and didn't even bother looking at the schedule. I did not like being treated as if I was an inconvenience for even asking if they have availability. I will not be trying this overpriced place. read more

After going to Sweet Mia's for close to two years, today was the experience that ensures I'll never be returning. Not only was my daughter disrespected by someone at SM changing her technician without her approval, the tech she was given was not qualified--especially at those prices. I've written other letters to the owner speaking of issues with the salon not being managed well and have gotten polite but disinterested responses. The idea of Sweet Mia's is a good one, but until the services and management provided match the promises and the prices, it's just an idea unrealized. read more

Sweet Mia has a new-ish location now in South Tulsa! What a great experience with my classic pedicure today. My legs are just jelly!! The only down side is that it's not very easy to come in as a walk in customer- appointments highly recommended! read more

WOW! What an amazing nail salon! I am not usually much of a manicure person, in part because the traditional products are full of so many chemicals and the smell can be awful. But when I heard about Sweet Mia and their non-toxic approach, I knew I had to try it out. Maddie was my manicurist and she did an amazing job and was so sweet. They do a massage with a blend of cacao butter, coconut oil, and other natural ingredients that they make in-house, and it was amazing. They have a lovely selection of natural colors and I went with a pastel lavender. I got my manicure on a Friday and figured by the time the weekend was over, there would be a lot of chips and it would be time to say goodbye. But here we are on Wednesday and there's hardly a chip in sight! Sweet Mia is a fabulous business and we are so lucky to have them in Tulsa. read more

Every year from September to November I spend a lot of time traveling. I am often unable to regularly visit my preferred nail salon in my hometown. So, I usually use Yelp to help me find a salon wherever I happen to be traveling. Thus this review! I contacted the salon to make an appointment for a gel pedicure and a gel polish remover for my hands. Visited Saturday, October 15, 2022. Apparently there was a mixup in communication and the appointment was booked incorrectly. My first tech (for hands) was horrible-Kristin (sp?). I had to force her to say anything and answer questions. She "ran out of time" and asked the technician doing the pedicure to finish. The pedicure tech was awesome. Helped me pick out colors and did an awesome job on my feet and the completion of the process on my hands. I forgot your name but thanks for the coffee shop recommendation-I went and it was yummy. Back to horrible Kristin-I peeped your peppy demeanor with your next client. Yep I was offended by you! I would have given this salon a higher score BUT Kristin messed it up. She was a 1 and the other tech a 5. This was at the Yale location. read more

I had a really lovely experience at Sweet Mia this morning and would come back in a heart beat. This place is clean and calm. I love the aesthetic. The staff is wonderful. I am a regular customer of this salon for pedicures, and the pedicures I have had were very good. However, I did get a bit upset today. I reserved a $44 classic pedicure, which I get every three to four weeks. The pedicurist did a good job, but told me it was $54, and when I asked why she said it was the polish I selected. I picked the same polish I always get, there were no signs indicating it was now $10 for polish! So I have contacted the salon to ask why this happened, because it seems she just wanted to overcharge me, which is not okay. I did think the work was fine, and I always tip, so beware, and ask the fee beforehand and ask if polish is EXTRA! Never has been in the past! read more

TWO THUMBS DOWN! Pay a $$$ premium for a pedi/massage thats supposed to be 70 minutes, and you'll get a rushed massage and pedi in 40. Got this as a gift and was so embarrassed with the outcome. When I asked for them to make it right they said no. What a laughable business. LaKia was the technician who rushed the massage. read more

I am very disappointed in the customer service at Sweet Mia's. I received a gift card to Sweet Mia's upon my own request because the website looked so lovely, I just had to try it out. I tried using my gift card on the website bc it said that was possible but the website wasn't taking my gift card. I decided to go in the next day to the cherry street location. I was a walk in appt, as I saw on the website they have quite a few appointments available with multiple techs to choose from. I went in and no one was in the building at all, not a single customer. I was told upon entering that I needed to schedule an appointment and then I explained what happened on the website the night before. She condescendingly said "oh sorry we only have an 11 o clock appt available today for the whole day". Well I was just on the website and that was a lie. I looked around and said "yes I can see that you're busy". The front desk person didn't try to book me, or sell me anything, she made me feel like she didn't even want me there. My sister who got me the gift card said she had a very poor experience going in to get the gift card and said they were very unwelcoming, almost annoyed that she entered their building. Unfortunately the vibe of the beautiful decor doesn't match the vibe of customer service or their services in general. After I use my gift card I plan to never return. read more
