Well I never imagined trying this place and actually loving the taste of their cake.. I was in a rush to head to my usual to go to place for baked goods or cake "the family bakery in Pacoima" and There was so much traffic on Tuesday so I decided to give this place a try.. I got a 30 dollar cake for 8 people and it tasted so good.. the girl who helped us was very welcoming and overall the place is clean.. My review is base on customer service: The person in charge to make the cake take me $240 dollars for 40 person, she explained to me it was because the design we choose, I told her if she can make the cake for 40 person with out the decorations and she said yes, the price was fair $110. I explained her that the cake was for my boss daughter and I need to ask her if she approved the price and how my boss will pay, I told the woman I need to ask and I calle her to confirm my order and if she can tolde me how I can give her my deposit for the cake. No sure what happened but next day I call her and send me all the time directly to voicemail. I have try several times and since the lady was a little bit upset about no get the cake with decorations for $240 I noticed on her voice she was not happy. I decided to call the number on my son's phone and yes! They answered right away. She pretended that she doesn't know me and don't remember talking to me about the cake. I decided to hung up the phone since she gave a weird tone in the phone. I will understand if she refused to take my order without pretending she doesn't know what I was talking about. Is a shame since the cake they sell is very good. But next time don't block people or pretend you don't know anything, just say you don't have time or something in case making people wasting time trying to figure out what's wrong. You should told if I said something to offend you or something and I will apologize... No every customer are mean and some customers can apologize when someone explain we said something inappropriate. read more

I ordered my wedding cake from here which was gorgeous as well as delicious (see previous post). A bit over a month later, I ordered this beautiful cake for my mother's 70th birthday. She has a saying in Spanish, "Orgullosa como pavo real " which means proud as a peacock because of how the feathers spread out. Of course I took a image to the bakery of what I wanted and they did not disappoint. The top tier was carrot cake with cream cheese filling, the bottom layer was vanilla cake with strawberries, and both flavors were impeccably delicious. We ordered a wedding cake for my daughter, and on the wedding day at 5pm the cake was no show. We called the bakery and the owner's daughter said there was no cake order for that day. Finally got a hold of the owner who said there was a mistake and that they were going to deliver a cake in 2 hours. The cake did arrived around 8 pm. How they managed to put together a big wedding cake in 2 hours? The cake looked nothing like we have ordered. There was no bananas, pecans, or tres leches flavor on it. The design looked like swirls, nothing to do with a Disney theme. The bottom sheet was mostly bread with tiny slices of strawberries. No flavor at all. We demanded our money back and the lady and her daughters got so offended because they claimed they did deliver the cake. A cake that most guests left on the table because it was mostly bread. We took part of the cake back to her so she can inspect it and see how the strawberries and bananas were missing, but she did not check it. She demanded her WHOLE cake for a whole refund. Impossible for us to do after trusting this lady and serving a bad cake to our guests. read more

We order a cake for my sister's 50th birthday and it was so beautiful and exactly what we wanted! The soft not over sweet strawberry mousse was perfect on the palate. The fresh strawberries were so tasty and went perfectly with the strawberry mousse. The marble cake was soft and blended well with the mousse. It was such a wonderful cake. My sister loved it. She loves Encanto and the Encanto decorations were what we were looking for. They decorated it exactly as we wanted. I won't name names, but a bakery long in business was "too busy for all that" and didn't want to make the cake. Sweet Paradise bakery was the total opposite. Their customer service was professional and kind. Making fun comments and engaging with me about my tastes in baked goods etc. just an overall wonderful experience. I highly recommend them. I ordered a simple custom cake, not only did I have to wait around for almost 2 hours because the cake was not ready, it had already been at the store ready but they had not contacted me after the lady had just walked out of the store randomly. When I finally got to see the cake my breathe was taken -- from how poor it look. They basically took an image of the cake and put it bread, they did not even crop the image correctly for crying out loud. For the price of the cake, I expected way better, next time I'll head over to the preschool nearby this bakery because I guarantee they can make something better. So i started searching up cake places around me, i found them and I messaged them through instagram asking about a specific cake, at first the customer service was great, they said yes we can definitely do it, i was like ok great awesome im unable to go personally due to not having a car at the moment and having a baby at home, so i asked if they deliver, i was told yes with a delivery fee, no problem whatsoever with me, i said ok lets do it, asked about the deposit because i was ready to send it, i was left on read, after 17 hours of no response i resend a message, again i was left on read i sent them one last message 24hours later saying thank you for your time, ill continue looking around, i was left on read once again, its a shame that some businesses are like this, i myself own a business but why not just tell this customer we are sorry we cant do the cake the day you want or you know just answer? Thats very unprofessional, as a business owner id rather let the person know and be straight forward instead of ghosting them .
