It's the worst pastry. I just bought a namoora It was very old. Bad taste. I end up going back to the store explaining to them bad attitude telling me do not buy this. If you don't like it, they didn't offer anything. I end up giving it there and walk away. I don't recommend anybody to go by from this pastry place. It look like you're a very professional business man. The way you answer the ad telling me. I'm not your Customer. Any person walk into your store and purchase an item. He's a Customer. Small shop with plenty to choose from, but what I settled on was mostly dry. Service was okay, they offered a piece of baklava. They do take tap to pay. The best ones were the sponge pineapple cake and the raspberry bar plus the hazelnut cheesecake. They also serve ice cream. I would really love to give this place a solid 5 but dry is dry and service is service, maybe next time they will get the last star. read more

April 2025 Love this place! It's my favorite bakery by far! Such a wide selection of fresh baked desserts and cakes. They even have packaged ice cream and other goodies. Very organized and clean. The staff is so nice and friendly. Love it, Always a great experience when we visit. We picked up 4lbs of a variety of baklava, so delicious! A few of their yummy ham, cheese, and jalapeno croissants. Next time i will get more of a variety, with the wide selection they have. I need to try it all! Definitely recommend! I know they have very good reviews but my experience was't enjoyable. I stopped by to give it a shot because I was near by. Just plain, traditional old world store when you walk in. Greeted by a young lady accompanied by a gentleman. Showcases filled with choices. I Just purchased few croissants for breakfast. They looked amazing and very big considering other bakeries. Not cheap but for the size of it I thought worth it. Unfortunately my excitement turned to disappointment when I got home and bite into it. Not fresh, soft and saggy like old bread. I was looking for something they didn't have in stock, and they offered to make it fresh for me right then and there. They pay attention to every detail, they handed me my order hot and ready to go. To get that level of 'above and beyond' service during the busiest week of the year is exactly what you want from a business. The quality was exceptional and the prices were incredibly affordable. I placed a custom cake order and it looked absolutely terrible, I told them to put clouds on the cake and it looks like flying kidneys on my cake. I told them I wouldn't be taking that and instead got a cake on the display. I have never had a cake so dry! It was supposed to be a strawberry shortcake and it had little to no strawberries inside.. will never be coming back and I wouldn't recommend this bakery to anyone... oh yeah this custom cake was also $120 read more

So disappointed tonight about my dessert. Got 6 cakes and dessert around 6:30pm. And took them to a friends house to find out they were all frozen. My son wanted to eat the fruit tart but it was frozen solid. One would think that they were freshly made but seems to have not been the case today. The eclair was hard as a rock. Based on the reviews for this place, I probably just got the wrong stuff. I didn't need a whole cake or a special order. I just wanted a little treat because we all know "I just want to look" is a damn lie. I always get fruit tarts. Always. And this one was large and well-priced. They're very generous with the fruit but it's not very ripe, and the tart didn't have that delicious syrupy glaze that I am used to. The cream filling was a bit more on the neutral side, almost not sweet at all, which is why I noticed the absence of the glaze even more. And the biscuit base was crumbling apart, so when I picked up my tart, it fell apart! :'( I took a long time picking a second treat because nothing looked that extraordinary to me. My nostalgic go to Napoleon cake looked very dry in the display, which made me hesitate. I opted for the caramel hazelnut cheesecake, which was also more on the savory side - more "cheese" than "cake." Not bad, but not that memorable. There's only one person working the counter and she seems swamped - she's waiting on customers, cleaning the floors and displays, answering calls, and ringing up orders. It seems like she could use a little more help around the shop to keep up with it all! That being said, the store was clean and she was very friendly. Maybe a custom cake is the way to go next time. read more

One of the best pastries around, I always get Lebanese pastries which is their specialty and every time is delicious, however recently I have noticed the amount of ashta that they put inside the taco-ashta is less compare to before. We would have appreciated an update on the order ahead of time as we were in a rush to an event. Mistakes happen it's okay but the girl on the cash was extremely rude after we told her we drove all the way from Burbank to pick it up and she said "it's okay we have a lot of customers from Burbank anyway" Absolutely unacceptable. This was the first place I had ever tried knefe. I went back recently, wondering how this would compare after trying other knefe and it still HELD UP. They ask whether you want it on a bread roll or not, but I think the bread is unnecessary but you should definitely get it heated up (and you can also heat it up yourself if you don't finish it in one sitting). They give you some rosewater syrup too but personally think it's too much so I don't use it. I also tried the opera cake, which was fine but tasted very amateurish. They were gracious enough to give me a small Ashta cake (normally you have to pre order), and it was a good ice cream cake with the same sort of sponge cake on the bottom. I was afraid of it being too rosewater-sweet but it wasn't - that said, I'm not sure if I would ever crave it. Bottom line: the knefe. Get this. read more

This place used to have good pastries. But we've watched it go in decline. I recently got "7alawet jebne" and they might as well call it cream sushi or something else. That's not how they used to make it or how it's supposed to be made. Also, it was tasteless. Very disappointed and will never go back again. That and the "ma3mool" straight in the trash. I don't see the point of it being a "custom" cake, if they're just going to do it however they want. It was for my first gender reveal and I was disappointed. I felt like I wasted my time, my money, and my first experience finding out the gender for my first baby.
