I've seen this place on social media. So when I was in the area I had to try it. All of the goods that they had on display looked so good! If I ever need a cake, I'd love to go back. We ended up getting pupusas, Yucca, and plantains. The lady behind the counter was so kind and patient with us a first timers and she let me and my kids try things. Everything we tried was delicious and fresh tasting. It was perfectly seasoned and heated well. I especially loved the sauce for the pupusas My picky daughter even liked the pickled veggies that go on the pupusa. We have some left over, but I still want to go back for more. The parking lot is small so on a busy day just could see it being hard to park. But it wasn't a problem for us. read more

Service here is always great the ladies and the gentleman that work here are always super kind. I was really looking fwd to having horchata salvadoreña...I asked the girl in the front if it was mexican or Salvadoran horchata cuz it looked like mexican horchata...not gonna like this is definetly mexican horchata. The bakery used to be very good. Unfortunately their quality of food and the pan isn't good. Multiple times I've came here but there hasn't been any improvement. The pan tastes rancid or perhaps the ingredients they use aren't fresh. It also has a strange smell. Two people have tried it and agreed. Someone needs to inspect for quality. First and last time coming to this place, I ordered the huevos, frijoles and plátano plate that's costs 13.95, large coffee that costs 3 and a jalapeño pupusa that costs 3.95; my total was 25.08 There's two dollars unaccounted for. The lady with the mole told me, she charged me extra for the huevos rancheros but my friend literally got the same plate and she was charged 13.95 for the same plate. As a salvadorian it is hard to come up some really good Pupusas in a restaurant but El Carrusel makes them so GOOD and they make sure to stuff them with the right amount of filling! I got pupusas of queso con loroco and de revuelta (I think it's called different on their menu) It was my first time here and their curtido is also very yummy, but I wasn't a big fan of their salsa as it had a lot of that canned tomato sauce taste to it rather than made from scratch taste (Still ate it though).
