The mango cheesecake (4.5/5) is the reason I keep coming back. It's smooth, light, and creamy, with a bright citrusy zest running through the filling. The layer of mango purée is bright and clean, and it pairs perfectly without tipping the dessert into overly sweet territory. The financiers (4/5) are also a treat! Deep brown-buttery and nutty flavor, with a tender crumb and a light fruit jelly on each that adds just the right lift and contrast. On top of it all, the service is great! A real standout pâtisserie experience in the city and I'll need to seek out their new location.

I stop by at least twice a week, not just for the food, but to see Donya the heart and soul of the place. As the manager, she's become a friend to many of us who live in the building. They had about five small tables along the wall for you to sit and eat at, but the benches are wooden and not the most comfortable for use as a study spot. My coffee was nothing to write home about, but the baklava was flaky and very sweet, definitely one of the best I've tried. They had a huge variety of other pastries too, and if they all taste as good as they look, would be worth checking out too.

I don't know if they are baked daily or not, but they were kept in a plastic containers. The space is small, but dining at the Jolly Pumpkin tables is allowed.
