Lots of choices for rolled ice cream and milk shakes to choose from. Great options for iced lemonades and tea. Enjoyed ice cream just wished the taco cone was a little thicker. Ordering is self service however cashier was helpful during paying. A few tables for if you want to sit there to enjoy your ice cream and beverages. I probably will go again to try some of the lemonade flavors.
fruity pebbles ice cream taco was SO good. i am a WH0R3 for anything fruity pebble flavor so this?? this was so good. service was quick with it also. vibes are okay nothing special, but i mean you're there for dessert so whatever. also tried the ube flavor and that yum too. it wasn't insanely sweet, but had a good ube flavor to it
While trying to figure out what to eat for a birthday dessert, we came across this place on social media. Although the price and the rolled ice cream taco wasn't necessarily spectacular, I would definitely still recommend coming here if you're just in the area. I love the concept of rolled ice cream. There use to be one by where I live, but it went away so I completely forgot about it. Somehow the rolled ice cream makes you feel you're being "healthy" because it forces you to take smaller bite (or that's just me). My husband ordered the birthday cake and I got the Vietnamese coffee roll. Both were relatively good but not memorable. I will say mine didn't taste like Vietnamese coffee, just more like normal coffee ice cream. I think the whipped cream on top and what seems like condensed milk was what was suppose to give it that Vietnamese coffee flavor. I did really love the taco shaped shell (which is just like an ice cream cone). I found that very yummy and complimented the ice cream. There was space indoors and out to sit and enjoy. However I imagine on a busy weekend you may have to take it to-go. All the staff was very kind and the decor was very Instagram worthy. I just forgot to take pictures because hey it's ice cream so that was where my concentration was. It's definitely a cute place that if you're in the area, check it out. But if you're a little far, it's not necessary to just take a trip here. I will say though because of where it's located there's lots of restaurants surrounding the area. So you can grab lunch/dinner and stop by for dessert so it'll be worth the drive if it's out of the way.
Yum! Plenty of indoor seating. The ambiance is laid back and this is a great place to grab a sweet treat! Employees are friendly, helpful, and patient. Our sweet rolled tacos were presented beautifully! It was creamy, smooth, and had good flavor. The "taco" is a waffle cone, which was thin, crisp, and fresh. They have a nice variety of flavors. Their menu also includes teas, milkshakes, and slushies. Water, cups, spoons, napkins, and straws are within reach. Restrooms are in the back and clean.
I went here with a friend to grab some rolled ice cream tacos. My friend ordered Brown Town while I ordered Sea Salt Caramel Pretzel. We didn't have to wait long for our orders, which was amazing. The rolled ice cream was thicker than what I expected, and it was delicious! It didn't melt fast, which is another plus. The shop was easy to spot, and the place had enough tables to fit a small crowd. The only downside was that they didn't have anything mango available that day.

I just ordered the Ube Sweet Rolled Taco - purple yam ice cream, topped with whipped cream, coconut flakes, and Ube drizzle. There were already 6 orders in front of me. It took 20 minutes until I got my orders. However, be prepared to potentially wait longer. An order that was ahead of me consisted only of drinks, but it didn't get fulfilled u til after me. The tables were not the cleanest. There were no napkins available either. With the long wait and groups of customers, be prepared for no seating too. They have limited indoor and outdoor seating. The decor was pretty cute though. Close parking is much more limited right now due to construction being done in part of the parking lot. Overall it wasn't a bad dessert place. The Ube tasted good and sweet. The "taco" is really a waffle cone shell. It was a pretty decent size, but it's not worth the price for me.
What a great concept of rolled ice cream! I bet this is the first place in nova to have this idea. Parking: big parking lot in a shopping center. The store is in the corner of the shopping center with outdoor seating. Interior: Very big and clean. Good minimalistic but cute design. The menu is easy to read and I love how you can see them rolling the ice cream. Food: we got the matcha monster! The portion is pretty big and easy to share with two people. The drinks looked nice too!
Parking: no need to worry! There's a ton of parking because this is located in a shopping center with a lot of other restaurants & stores. Seating: there's a good number of tables and seats. It's a nice open seating area, inside and outside. It's overall really clean inside and very modern. Food: the ice cream was good. We liked the Vietnamese coffee and strawberry sundae. It's literally just rolled ice cream in a cup or taco shell. Bathroom: they have bathrooms in the back of the store. Price: it's very overpriced ice cream. It's literally just rolled ice cream in a cup or a waffle taco shell. The taco shell just tastes like a waffle cone. Service: it was good. Our food came out at a nice and timely manner. *Tbh, I don't think I would initiate to go here again because it was just too overpriced for ice cream.
May 2022 - COVID Review: I had been waiting for this place to open ever since I saw the "coming soon" sign! Although rolled ice cream isn't a new concept to come to the DMV, putting those ice cream rolls into colorful taco-shaped waffle shells is! They are a little hard to eat though since the container that it's in can turn things messy real quick. They also have different drinks on the menu that are reasonably priced but these tacos are almost $8 each! If you don't want your ice cream in the tacos, you can still opt for the classic smaller rolls that are in the cup. One thing I noticed though was how early they closed at 9pm for a dessert spot. Especially since they're in the same shopping center as Iron Age and a bunch of other restaurants where patrons would definitely have a sweet tooth after!

New ice cream dessert place that just opened in Centreville. I first tried this chain on the west coast a few years ago so I was excited to see a location opening up here. It is pricey at $7.50 a taco, but many awesome flavors to choose from. Waffle tacos are made fresh in an assortment of colors. And they make the rolled ice cream right in front of you. My kids chose the Rainbow Road taco which was a cream base with crushed fruity pebbles loaded with more sugary goodness on top. I went with Coconut Delight - cream base with coconut shreds and topped with some chocolate and caramel sauce. Both were delicious! The workers are patient and helpful. The decor is simple, yet cute. There are other items on the menu such as teas, milkshakes and slushies if the rolled tacos aren't your thing. If you are looking for a sugar rush, you should definitely check this place out!
Came here for their soft opening weekend! My friend got the cookie monster looking one while I got the cinnamon crunch one. They were very busy when we stopped by and the ice cream overall was alittle pricey. We both enjoyed our desserts atleast! It's a pretty fun way to eat ice cream. I would come back to try the Ube flavor and one of the milkshakes next time.
We got the Match Bliss which was their matcha flavored ice cream that was rolled into their homemade waffle cone taco shell and topped off with whipped cream and pockey. I thought the ice cream was good - sweet with a nice match flavor to it. My only complaint was how hard the ice cream was right when you get it. It was not creamy at all but that's probably cuz they needed it to be able to roll into the taco. I will say the inside was a bit dirty. Lots of sticky tables with ice cream residue on them. Was able to check out Sweet Rolled Tacos over the weekend. This place is dishing out unique ice cream flavors that you don't find in the area like durian, mango, and fruity pebbles. The ice cream is hand mixed and made per flavor, so, it may take a few minutes. Def worth the wait though. I wasn't a huge fan of the waffle shell the ice cream came in though. I felt very bland and the texture wasn't a crispy waffle cone texture you would get at a traditional place. Def worth checking out though for the unique flavors. read more

We swung by after dinner, looking for a quick dessert, and happily found a gem! **Ambiance:** Nestled in a bustling strip shopping center, Sweet Rolled Tacos greets you with colorful signage and vibrant photos. **Food:** We ordered the Rainbow Road ($7.85) which was made with vanilla hand-rolled ice cream nestled in a sweet waffle taco shell, topped with cotton candy whipped cream, sprinkles, fruity pebbles, and sour rainbow strips. We thought it would be a sugar bomb, but the sour strips saved the day. While it might not have come in the red shell as shown on the menu, the flavor was good so it hardly mattered. This dessert was enough for both of us to share. **Service:** The young staff members were super friendly and efficient. Despite the full house, our order arrived in just five minutes. Dessert can't never go wrong! I was looking for some excitement but outside of ube flavor, nothing really impressed me. It didn't have a wow effect to me but I can see for young teens it would be popular because how presentable it is. For the price I am paying, I hope there is more unique flavors instead of generic flavors that you can easily found in any other ice cream shops. read more

I didn't even know this place had opened. What a pleasant surprise. The "rolled sweet tacos" are amazing; highly recommend the "cookies & cream" flavor. The "taco" part is made fresh from batter throughout the day. It's thin, crispy and the perfect balance of savory/sweet. The ice cream itself if just perfection. The real star of the show, here, though....the doughnuts. Holy. Baby. Jesus. Pro tip; go early in the day as they frequently sell out of the doughnuts first. Again, can't go wrong with the "cookies & cream" flavor OR just the "original" flavor. Just try it. Pretty spendy for ice cream/doughnuts, but you pay for flavor and quality; no complaints here. If you buy a sweet rolled taco, the doughnuts are $2 in addition to that. If you're buying just the doughnut, it's going to run you $3.50. They also have an extensive shakes/drinks menu, but that's not my thing; can't recommend anything in that department. read more
Who doesn't love a classic rolled ice cream dessert? But imagine it in a waffle taco! My friend and I tried both the rolled ice cream in a waffle taco and a cup because WHY NOT?! I had the matcha monster which was matcha and cookies and cream combined! It was so good! The matcha wasn't too strong and the oreo pieces added the perfect chocolate flavor! I would have loved if the matcha was stronger. My friend ordered the rainbow road flavor. It was the definition of a six year old child's dream dessert! It was vanilla ice cream mixed with sprinkles and fruity pebbles, and topped with blue whipped cream. It was so sweet which I loved! I think the only downside was the price. It's about $8 for each but I think most rolled ice cream places are priced that high. But there are 22 flavors to choose from so I'd definitely go back to try another one! read more

Cool concept. Yummy ice cream. I got the churro taco. The ice cream tasted great with the caramel drizzle and I enjoyed the crunchy sugar cone taco and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal on top. The staff was friendly, and the environment was clean and bright. Fun music. My only critique-- don't roll the caramel drizzle into the ice cream. It made the ice cream sticky and difficult to eat with the plastic spoon and paper bowl. Your ice cream is delicious enough on its own, with just a light drizzle on top! read more

Love this place! What a little hidden gem with unique flavors like ube, matcha, churro, Vietnamese coffee and fun toppings! The waffle cones are all sugar cones in different colors but they're so fun to eat. Orders may take a few minutes as they are shaping them into rolls to mimic a sweet taco. It's probably so unpractical in shape but they're fun! read more

Finally there is an ube Coffee shop which has legit Vietnamese coffee with ube cream foam. Their ube coffee is bombbb!!! Side note: Just make sure that they give enough ube foam with the round bubble cup cover (easier to stir your drink with the ube foam) read more

Yum or Nah? Yum but expensive We did not really have high expectations for this place as it seemed a bit gimmicky, and neither of us usually like rolled ice cream. However we ordered the Banana Cream Pie Taco Ice Cream Roll and it was quite delicious. The banana taste was very fresh and you could tell they chopped probably a full banana into the ice cream. Could have used a little bit more topping for the $9 we paid though. The shell part is definitely gimmicky, and you can't really eat it like a taco at all. You'll definitely want to grab a spoon. The ice cream was creamy instead of icy like you get at a lot of other rolled ice cream places. Overall, the ice cream was pretty good, I would consider skipping the "taco" cone. Additionally I do think it is overpriced for what it is. read more

Tried this place out for the first time with my best friend a few days ago. We greatly enjoyed the ice cream and beverages. While the passion fruit cooler may have been a tad sweet for my taste (I'm someone who likes to order 25% or 0% sugar), but it was delicious nonetheless. The ice cream was also great, definitely need a partner in crime to help finish. I like the contrast between the soft ice cream and the hard shell of the waffle taco shell, it was almost too hard to use a plastic spoon and "cut" the waffle taco shell, but it worked out. The ambiance of the dessert shop is comfortable. With a couple of tables and seats available, self serve water. All in all, this was a nice little dessert shop to relax and eat some ice cream/drink a beverage. read more

Such a cute dessert place! Came here at 8:30ish on a Saturday night after our double date dinner. They have rolled ice cream, milkshakes, & smoothies. Super delicious! The inside decor was cute and very clean place. The staff was nice. The bathroom was clean, spacious, and also had wall decorations. Not like most small businesses bathrooms. After having lunch with a group of friends , everyone was in the mood for dessert and Sweet Rolled Tacos was suggested. I think everyone was excited about the concept of ice cream tacos and this establishment makes a great addition to the Centreville food scene . In addition to ice cream tacos, they have a variety of different teas and milkshakes . Everything is made to order and you can watch as they make your order . It was very clean on the inside with a decent amount of seating . I ordered the Vietnamese coffee taco and also chose the Hawaiian Cooler as a drink. Both were delicious. Stopped here for a Father's Day treat! Lots of fun as they have a diverse offerings of flavors + combinations. I got the coconut one, it was really good; tasted like a Samoa. My brother got the Ube which was yummy as well. & my sister got the avocado honey which was something different & light & refreshing. It took a little while to receive our order but that was expected as they were busy. I will say they're super messy & not really meant to be eaten like a taco haha, but worth it nonetheless. read more
I was craving something sweet after stuffing my face after Korean bbq. It is a bonus that this place is near Iron Age! Even though they are still under a soft opening, my experience was good. I usually think rolled ice cream is gimmicky and you are mostly getting air. But these tacos were thicc! Service was good and there was a decent amount of people inside. We got the monster matcha and the Vietnamese ice coffee tacos. I expected it to be overly sweet but, both were delicious; though it is quite messy to eat! I feel like it's a little pricey at $7.50 or so for each, but it's a unique experience. It's cool that you can watch them make it in front of you. You can even pick the color of the taco shell. I would definitely go back seeing it satisfied my sweet tooth. read more
