What I love about the cheesecake factory is their portions are huge, all their food is freshly made and there are soo many options and ofcourse their cheesecake selection is incredible and absolutely delicious. You cannot go wrong with the original cheesecake if you are unsure of which one to get. Came on a Sunday night without reservation, and waitlist was for 15 mins. We got the carbonara, fish and chips, and fried chicken salad. Nothing extraordinary with the taste of the food, but the serving was pretty decent for 1-2 people. I shared the pasta with 2 other friends. Ordered my food online and was waiting in line to pick up my order and this man walks up and cuts the line. The woman at the counter just lets him cut in front of me. I'm extremely annoyed and feel that is not right of the person working at cheesecake. He should have to wait in line like the rest of us. My food was sitting ready as well. In the past Cheesecake Factory could be depended on for tasty and filling meals. However, we were surprised at the changes we experienced at our two recent visits. The actual entree items looked nothing like the menu pictures online. The Bang Bang Chicken and Shrimp had very little chicken, shrimp or vegetables, mostly rice, and the sauce was thin and soupy. The Chicken Fettuccine portion was small and there was maybe 4 small pieces of chicken. The teenager that ordered these had based his selections on the online menu pictures and he was surprised at the small amount of food. The Skinnylicious steak medallions looked nothing like the picture, nor what I had experienced in the past. There are no "medallions" but rather small chunks of steak, watery mashed potatoes and dried asparagus spears. My husband always orders Miso Salmon and loves it but at the recent visit the portion was a lot less than normal and was overcooked, dry and served with burnt black edges. Been here a few times couple years back. Glad to see as always the service is friendly and the atmosphere is the same as I remembered it. So many options! I love that about CF! On a busy Saturday afternoon, we were able to get seating for two. They're located at the Fair Oaks Mall. There's plenty of parking! Now it's nearly doubled in price, when inflation has increased but not doubled. It's now $28.95. For the same quality and quantity. I'm still a fan. But the prices are ridiculous. But I suppose not when we still pay it ‍. The same with Disney World. Eventually when they make it $1,000 a day for tickets, it is ridiculous, but if people still pay it, what's the incentive as a business to bring down the price. Took my annoying wife Sarah to The Cheesecake Factory because she said she didn't know what she wanted to eat. So naturally, we went to the only restaurant where the menu is longer than a Harry Potter book. Our server, Hope, was an angel. Not in a religious way--just in the sense that she floated gracefully through the chaos and didn't visibly flinch when Sarah asked what the difference was between Alfredo and carbonara. Twice. I ordered the Shepherd's Pie because it was the first item I saw and I didn't want to age another year before choosing. Sarah ordered something gluten-free, dairy-free, and joy-free. The food was good. Warm. Tasty. Unlike the silence between us after I asked if she was going to eat the complimentary bread or just interrogate it. Hope came by with drink refills like clockwork. She answered every stupid question my wife had without rolling her eyes which was impressive because my wife asks the dumbest questions. She deserves hazard pay for pretending not to notice the tension when Sarah accused me of chewing too loud. For dessert, Sarah said we should "split a slice." She picked low-carb cheesecake, then ate three bites and said it "tasted like lies." I finished it in silence while fantasizing about dying. 5 stars. He asked about my experience and I let him know I just wanted to get out of there. No response to address an obviously disgruntled customer who had to walk around the place twice for basic service. I've made 100's of positive reviews over the years. Less than a handful of reviews I've ever left haven't been five stars. However, the only time I've gotten worse service is from fast food places - never a "full service restaurant". Wrote on the check that I wanted cheesecake but wasn't asked. I travel to this area on business, and will not ever return to this location. Hopefully this review can provide some customer perspective for management/ownership. My bf and I do surprise dates - and for this month he took me to Cheesecake Factory so we could do the "rock paper scissors" TikTok challenge. My waitress was a young girl so I won't 100% blame her but she constantly ignored my table (of 2 guest). We didn't order much either just water, entrees, and a dessert to go.
