Came here with family to get some ice cream. The staff were super helpful in recommending flavors and sizes. We tried double chocolate chunk (5/5), Oreo mint (4/5), chocolate (5/5), and raspberry swirl (5/5). Raspberry swirl really stood out as a favorite! We were also surprised how big the "small" cone size was. I will definitely be coming back to try other flavors!

Brusters is my go to place and my favourite place around here. I have been having icecream here for past two years and it is a gem. Loved every flavour here and the creaminess of these ice creams is sooo good. My best place so far and I would not trade it with any other place NO The service is great along with ambiance as well

This is my aunt's favorite ice cream shop so I decided to finally check it out on a hot summer night. I got their strawberry and caramel apple crunch ice cream inside of a waffle bowl. The ice cream had a good balance of creaminess and sweetness. I liked how the flavors were not super artificial tasting. Good classic ice cream with lots of flavors to choose from!

I ordered hot fudge brownie sundae, service was quick and great, got chance to taste two flavors and finally decided to have cherry vanilla and graham cracker

They do the basic flavors really well. Good green tea. The Oreo didn't have a lot of Oreo so it was mostly vanilla. You pick up at the side, and there is ample seating at the benches/tables. Very cute and quick place to get ice cream. Not the best, but not bad by any means. Also really nice that they open later than most establishments around the area.

Hard to go wrong at a Bruster's location. They are all usually very consistent and this location is no exception. Staff were friendly and our order was made quickly and correctly. There are so many favors to choose from and different way to enjoy them. Cones, cups, sundaes, shakes, etc. Most flavors remain on the menu permanently, but there are always a couple flavors of the month to check out. They run specials from time to time and have a reward program. Best way to keep up with new flavors and deals/coupons is to sign up for the reward program so you get emailed any specials.

Bruster's is definitely one of my go-to ice cream spots in Fairfax! They close at 10 PM (later than most in the area), making it perfect for those "late-night" ice cream cravings. Bruster's has a an exhaustive and rotating list of flavors making each visit super unique. My South Asian parents were elated to try the kaju draksh flavor. My wife and I opted for the mint oreo and graham central station. The mint oreo was a delightful twist on mint chocolate chip, packed with loads of oreo chunks. Meanwhile, the graham central station stole the show with its graham cracker ice cream, cookie-dough-like sections, and chocolate flakes baked in. Overall, Bruster's is a great spot, but be prepared for some intense sweetness. My only complaint is that the sugar can be a bit overwhelming in your throat, and the cones could have been fresher. But aside from that, it's great! The price point and quantity is also unbeatable. A small has two full scoops, and is only $4.99 in a cup and 5.99 in a cone.

$5.99 for 2 scoops of ice cream in a waffle cone? I scream! Free baby cone (choco, vanilla, or strawberry) with sprinkles if you or your kiddos or random kids are under 40"? We all scream!! Limited outdoor seating around the corner. Bathroom in the Harry Teets next door or in a discreet bush if you're adventurois and have that YOLO mentality.

    Christine H.

Love Bruster's. A ton of flavors to choose from and they change the menu every few weeks so it's a great rotation of flavors. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The ice cream is fantastic! They also have a rewards program available.

There's honestly something for everyone here. The décor is one of my favorite parts of the experience. It's extremely quirky and eclectic, almost like wandering through an old-timey, whimsical field of curiosities. Every corner has something unexpected, and that's part of the charm. There's plenty of seating, but it does get busy, especially during peak hours. There's an attached parking lot, which makes stopping by super convenient. Prices lean a little on the higher side, but that's pretty normal for specialty dessert cafés. Overall, it's a delightful spot if you're craving creative desserts, unique drinks, or just a cozy and quirky place to hang out. I'd definitely come back!

Wife and I sat at the Chef's Counter for a truly wonderful meal last night. The menu is exceptional, five courses, several with two options, and the progression was just perfect. We really loved all of the dishes, but for sure the ravioli with wild asparagus and ramps is one I will remember for a long time. The octopus was also a memorable dish, and the poussin was complex, layer after layer of flavor and the salt level was so good...just perfect food, perfectly executed. Oh, and shout out to the owner's dad, who is in his 90s and makes the bread, a rich sourdough, served warm, that has a 50 year old starter at its essence. Yum. We did the wine pairings and I def recommend. Some really good wines, curated from small vineyards globally, matched perfectly and well presented. The sommelier nailed it. We also just loved the service. Nice touches pre arrival, they are expecting you when you arrive and there's a lovely personal touch and welcoming feel. The ambience is warm, and you can hear and talk and it does feel like you're at a dinner party with friends and family. Finally, shout out to the chefs and servers. Knowledgable, conversational, and charming. We really enjoyed the Chef's Counter and the entire experience. Kudos to Chef Jon Krinn and his family for creating this masterpiece of a restaurant. It is Michelin star worthy, and we cannot wait to go back.

I mean shame on them because they deserve some seriously high praise. And honestly, they pulled out all the stops for their recent New Years Eve dining experience - I'm talking caviar, white truffle, A5 wagyu, a custom cocktail (because they know I like gin and yuzu) and a painfully decadent dessert - What a way to send out 2025! I mean, honestly, the meal was exquisite and so perfectly executed. Each dish is crafted with a passion and care for food that absolutely shines. I mean the Foie Gras (sp??) - I don't even really like the stuff, put the way they sauteed it, put it on top of some sort of savory cake and slathered it with this balsamic gastrique - it was like bacon and pancakes smothered in maple syrup just amplified to 100. Bottom line: I would eat this every day (and amplify my weight by 100 too). The snow crab, I don't know if it's the care in selecting the product or the techniques used to prepare it (probably both ), but they packed so much crab flavor into that dish! And the dark chocolate cheesecake, it was magic that can make something so dark, so bold, so rich feel so light when you are eating it. This was just one specific meal here, but I am surprised and delighted every time we get the privilege to dine at Elyse. It's not just the food, it's the atmosphere and the attention of the staff. They remember details from your previous visits, any special notes from your reservation and really tailor the experience to you, making it all that much more special on your special night out

The ambiance inside is beautiful, ideal for anyone looking for a good Instagram picture. There's so many angles and details so that no matter where you're sitting, there's a good vibe. There's also gorgeous seating outside since it can get crowded. For food, you order from the front and they'll call you when the food is ready. We ordered the dubai gelato and pistachio lokmas. Both were presented tastefully to make sure our eyes and cameras wanted to eat before our stomachs. The dubai gelato was a quality dessert with a good ratio of milk: cream. The pistachio flavor was evident on top, but it was just a kinda tart vanilla ice cream with toppings. I did like it, however, and it paired well with the lokmas. The lokmas were fried to perfection, a nice amount of chewy, and covered with a good ratio of pistachio cream. They were a decent size and conducive to sharing. The prices of everything, overall, was pretty expensive, but the quality definitely made up for it. I'd recommend this cafe to someone looking for a unique sweet treat, catching up with a group of girl friends of 2-4 people, or for a first date!

The bingsu is definitely shareable, both of the bingsuus we got were rich in flavor and came with generous toppings. The sparkling coffee, however, wasn't quite as sparkly as I expected The injeolmi latte was a little disappointing because it doesn't come with espresso, which I didn't realize when ordering. I ended up paying an additional $2.20 for espresso. That said, I would recommend adding it because it really helped round out the drink. The server was quick to bring it out after I asked about the lack of coffee. My biggest hesitation is the price. The iced latte came out to around $12 after tax and tip, so I'll probably only come back occasionally. Still, the unique flavor combinations and overall quality might be enough to bring me back for another treat.
