sides of green Steam String Beans without Bacon, Bake Mac N Cheese, Candied Yams, Fried Plantain & rice and peas
    Vanessa L.

This was our first time trying sweet royalty but our second jamaican spot here in Tucson so far because I have been cravin red snapper so I was so excited to see it on their menu. It was so good and crunchy(as it is fried) it comes with this spicy side which is super good if you are a spice lover. I've never had it before I usually make my own dippin sauce but I enjoyed the spice it brought. It was cooked very well! Thankfully not dry or over done. I ordered different sides because I saw another lady recently reviewed sayin it was seasoned well but the greens beans didn't taste seasoned to me at all which isn't bad cause it's healthy but I did add some cajun seaosnin to it when I got home. The Mac n cheese is okay but not what I am use too (just no seasonin really as well) again not bad just not what I am use too so I probably won't order it again. I love yams regardless and these were not too sweet and I ate them up quick. The friend plantains were good I just usually have had em wit brown sugar from other spots and was expecting that but it was plain. But again I really enjoy eatin fried plantains any type of way so it was perfectly fine to me. Ox tails were decent but really just lackin the flavor I am use to but I also am aware that people make them differently. The stramed vegggies were spicy so it has a nice kick to it! Chef Doug was very kind and brought my order out to me. Everything was prepared nicely. Overall, I rate it 4/5 and I would recommend the red snapper if you love fried fish and the oxtails. Happy Yelpin!

Sam was incredibly helpful in creating a vegan-friendly, protein-packed meal. Most places don't allow protein substitutes, but she suggested using chickpeas in their teriyaki rice box, and let me tell you, it was delicious and satiating. The presentation of the food is what you'd call eye candy, and the portions are substantial. This place is definitely worth the visit, a true hidden gem in Tucson. Thanks again Sam!

If you just type in their address, it doesn't put you in the right spot. You have to park in the parking lot off of Main Street and then walk around to get to the entrance. Today, I thought I'd pick up a few things for lunches this week and some wellness shots for my husband and I was coming from an unfamiliar direction and I was lost and sent off course down 2nd Street since my last review, I've tried some of their made to order smoothies and boy. What a treat. I like the peanut butter and jelly protein smoothie very much. They've updated the look of their menu so it's much better lit when it was previously written out by hand and now it's just much more professional with pictures. The location is very small, but there is seating and a microwave, to heat up and enjoy any of the prepped meals out of the refrigerated cases. I feel that their prepared meals are generous size and usually have trouble eating the whole thing and try to just eat half, saving the other half for lunch the next day. I believe each entrée is $11 and they're made in the morning and they put on their expiration date so if you buy it take it home you know you'll need to eat it in a few days. The labels on the meals are color-coded, and so if you are looking for certain types of meals, look on their website and I'll give you a color key based on the type of diet you're following on which meals to pick. Since I am allergic to celery and fennel, I know that those ingredients are none of their meals and so I know I can safely eat without worrying about allergies. Taking that into account, I love their chipotle meatloaf; a dish that typically has celery mixed in. I've encouraged my friends and they have all agreed that Warfuel kitchen is a great spot for people who interested in getting freshly prepared meals to go.
