    Quality ingredients.

Fantastic customer service, good selection, solid / quality meats with delicious marinades, and wonderfully fresh salsas. Reduced to 4 stars ....only because the selection at the 22nd street location is noticeably better. Still good location, closer to my home. Keep up the good work Carniceria Los Toritos!

So excited for this new Carniceria in our neighborhood; it's the closest one around here and it's very clean. This place is big inside they also have a bakery and a candy area you can get stuff for your piñatas and for your parties! Definitely have to stop by here regularly!

I am beyond ecstatic to have been told that this carniceria just started, it is so much closer to me than the other one I've been going to. On my way here I was misinformed by this app that it was closed, disappointment set in, however Google said it was open, as well as their banner displaying outside ensuring open business. Walked in eager to see what pan dulces they had available, my main reason for stopping among other delights. I love Conchas!! They have party supplies, piñatas, Mexican candy in the panaderia area. I purchased pan dulce to share with my coworkers here at Vero Amore. Each pastry was delicious and devoured happily. Staff was so polite and they are eager for business as well. They offered me a business card and informed me that there will be specials tomorrow because of Cinco DE Mayo. I will definitely be returning here soon and see myself becoming a regular.

My friend Jody told me about this market it took me a couple of months to get there but it was definitely worth it me and my daughters bought some tamales and they were some of the best tamales we have had in a long time nobody makes them the same no more they don't put no love into him but these ladies and family here at the carniceria Los Toritos kept their family recipe tradition going just like Grandma used to make if you live in Tucson or you're coming in visiting Tucson please make sure you stop by this market they have absolutely everything the meat and products are so fresh they have prepared food items already the freshest homemade tortillas go you won't be disappointed

The whole menu is great but the menudo is my favorite. Plus the staff is friendly and puts a lot of care in to preparing amazing food!

Wow. I couldn't decide whether a 4 or 5 star review is appropriate…read more The reviews on this place are spot on. Walking in, it's a bit confusing. There's no one to greet, nor a sign to state to wait to be seated. I saw a server and asked her and she lead me to a table. So, 4 stars for walking in. I was waiting on friend to show up. Our water glasses were filled and our server (Cory) asked if i wanted something to drink other than water (no). The place has a very industrial vibe and is very noisy (4 stars). Friend showed up and we looked at the somewhat limited menu. Cory took our orders. I ordered a (swordfish) fish sandwich with no bread and a side order of frittes (fries). Friend ordered the steak sandwich with condiments on the side. Looking around, one can see through the clear door as the butchers are breaking down the meats. There's a spot to shuck fresh oysters. There's a cooler with sides of beef and pork hanging and aging. along with cuts of meat, fish, and seafood. They had poke, different kinds of fish (amberjack which I've not seen outside of Florida)! There's a lot of wait staff, all in black with no name tags. The food arrived after about a ten minute wait. And the wait was worth it. The swordfish was done perfectly, juicy and tender. The swordfish was served with tartar sauce but it wasn't needed. The steak sandwich was just that, with the meat being steak worthy - tender and flavorful. The fries were AMAZING!!! Cooked in tallow, they were soft on the inside with a crusty outer shell. We ate every last one of them ((5 stars on the food). And 5 stars for Cory who was very busy but kept our water glasses filled and answered our questions. We talked to the owner for a bit. It was obvious that he has a passion for what he's got going on at this place. We'll go back for sure.

The ONLY thing I could fuss about is the portion size of my salmon...maybe 2 oz ...I need more protein than that ...but it was cooked perfectly..as was everyones steak at the table! We have family in Tucson, so when we're there I always pick up some of Kent's fresh Polish kielbasa. You are depriving yourself if you don't get some, and I would hate to see anyone deprive himself/herself of this delicious treat. Get over to Kent's Sausage Shop and get you some - all of his products are sedond to none, but this particular variety is uniquely exquisite. You will not be disappointed!

I stopped in and asked the lady behind the counter if they had Krakow. She said yes and pointed to a sausage in the case. I said no, that was not it as it was much smaller around than what I grew up eating, which (in the midwest) is around 6" across. The lady said they've been making Krakow for 40 years, and "that's the way people like it here", and that's that. I asked her if i could show her a picture of what I was talking about. She said it wouldn't do any good (to show a picture). She pretty much ignored me and went on to other tasks. I asked for a taste and she sliced off a piece. It's about 80% taste-wise of what I grew up eating, not nearly garlicky enough but close enough to buy a pound. As she was slicing it, she said "he" makes it once a year right after Thanksgiving and when it's gone, it's gone. So I asked for 2# and said I was going to freeze some. She said it would dry out when frozen so I only got 1#. Perhaps she was really busy, but she didn't seem to have time for me. She was pleasant enough with my requests but not very friendly. Not sure I'll go back.
