Seth and Paul came out and installed three windows and a sliding glass door that had to be cut in solid brick and put it back together. The project came out perfect it looks like it was original . Extremely happy with the quality of work and with their work ethics. We had a setback with the sliding glass door. It was Pella they at the factory installed transom backwards . this caused a 3 to 4 week delay in getting the job completed Paul and seth came back and never complained once that they had to take the old door back out and reinstall the new one. I would highly recommend these guys for any project. Great job

During the work he cancelled out of a few days in which he was supposed to come over which caused the work to back up. I took a few things off the to-do list to make it more realistic. Since he was running out of time, he began to hurry thru the remaining few items taking shortcuts and not finishing them correctly. I did not notice until he was done. After I saw them I ignored those items and asked him if he could stop out and finish 1 small item he could not get to. He said he would and then sent me the bill. I paid the bill in full thnking he would honor his word and stop back to fix it. (it was actually something he caused when he was fixing something related to it.) After I contacted him he promised to come over several times and gave me dates and times he was going to stop but has failed to show every time. He doesnt contact me at all. He did say, only because I asked him, if he had charged me for that and he said 'no'. I told him I would pay him for the extra work to be fair to him. Still nothing!! In summary if you want A+ work on everything from beginning to end he might not be the guy for the job. If you are willing to overlook small mistakes and possibly unfinished work then he might be the guy you want. He also told me he would send a link to me so I could give him a review . Ask James Contracting did a great job working with us, completing multiple projects at our new…read morehouse. First they did painting for us in multiple rooms, and they were very meticulous. The job was done quickly too. Then, we had had them install engineered flooring in a living room, two bedrooms, and a hallway. As I write this, they are working on the staircase to the upstairs, installing the same flooring there as well. As often happens, there was a mix up in the delivery from the store and there was not enough of the stair nose. James was flexible and was able to come back as soon as the correct pieces were delivered. I appreciate that he takes the time to explain what he is doing as well. I recommend James and his crew for similar projects.

Kept promising that his electrician would show up and never did. But in the end I'm thankful we arrived and realized we needed to put a halt on the work. A corner of a wall was literally just taped instead of making a right angle. Areas that were supposed to be mud were actually spackled which does not fix cracks. He glued wood pieces on my floor and didn't listen to our previous conversation of needing to match the kitchen floor up with the extra in the basement. To add to that I saw one of his "crew" leave with my ladder on my garage camera (came in with no ladder and left with my $100 ladder) I did not confront this until I arrived in person because i was trying to give the benefit of the doubt. It was in my sunroom with all other belongings so they went in there when they should've been no where near there without my permission. James told me he would ask said worker and then radio silence after that. They left a huge mess and was in my floor refinishers way even though I gave clear instructions not to be there at that time (construction dust and floor refinishing don't mix) I'm still mad at myself for being conned. Please don't be desperate for a contractor like I was and check license and bonding prior to your investment and home being worked on.
