First: I watched her put candy on a milkshake without gloves on... I ignored my servsafe training and figured maybe that's how things are here. Second: Less than a block away my sons cup started leaking out of the side (he hadn't even taken 2 sips yet)we tried to catch the spilling in my cup which filled fast then my other child's cup which filled also. We went back and her attitude was bothered, she gave us napkins then "are you good?" I'm sorry but yes a responsible business owner would offer to make a new one. I even tried to tell her that I wasn't being rude as I did not ask for a new cup for myself or my other son just my son whose cup broke. After clarification, it seemed the combo came with all the meats plus a pig lip. So I was rather confused when my cousin dropped my food off and the bowl was not giving $18. If I was there to see the bowl she would have never got my money because I wouldn't have left her establishment with that. Omg this is the cutest Sno-Ball stand ever ! The lady at the window was so friendly, helpful and sweet to us. The prices are fairly reasonable and you get a lot for your buck. We visited the N Claiborne location on a rainy day so we were the only customers. This worked in our favor so we could easily get in and get out. We loved our snowballs and the portion size was worth the price. We actually still have a lot left and put it in the freezer. I ordered the Gentilly Cake and my gf ordered the strawberry cheesecake. Both came with an abundance of toppings and syrup. The only complaints I have are: the space is extremely small so only about 4-5 customers can fit indoor at a time and then my other concern was the amount of gnats. I think the space could use a good deep cleaning bc the display case for desserts and countertops were not clean. The floor was also sticky. I can't number the times I'd tried to get here & THANKS BE TO GOD, FINALLY I MADE IT!!! It was a hot day, since I was finally in the area at the time they opened, I stopped in for a refreshing snoball and I actually got more than I bargained for!!! This was a fantastic choice, the snoball was flavorful, refreshing and had lots of candy laced throughout; this brought me JOY-JOY!!! The pricing was that of a designer snoball, but as I stated, I ate off this snoball for TWO WHOLE DAYS!!! I will tell folks to be patient as these aren't your average, run of the mill, one flavored snoball... these snoballs are crafted as designed on the picture and time needs to be given to make it perfectly as listed. From the time I placed my order until it was in my hand, the elapsed time was about 10 minutes. At the time I visited, there were a couple other vendors on the lot selling their wares and food items. This was a plus because one of the vendors were a pair of Vegan cooks. You interchange between sips and bites of the snoballs and take a break with a nacho chip. 2 Snoballs, 1 Nacho. I'll be honest, I had always passed by Sweet Thangs and figured it was a mini food truck lot but I was wrong. The whole lot is Sweet Thangs! It not only houses their food truck for mobile parties and such; however, it's an outdoor area with seating (socially distanced) to enjoy your snoball and snacks when weather permits. *They are totally open rain or shine!* I went for the Strawberry Cheesecake Designer Snoball, Tamarindo Snoball, and the Crawfish Nachos. HOLY SH&% y'all it was love at first bite. The Strawberry Cheesecake snoball was about $8 and included fresh strawberries, topped with condensed milk, and had a whole damn slice of cheesecake. It seriously was a 2 for 1 dessert in my eyes. Every bite was a dream and my eyes lit up with my very first bite. The Tamarindo Snoball is the perfect blend of sweet n' spicy. Topped with chamoy, tamarindo stick and Mexican candies. This mango-based snoball flavor was utter perfection. TOTALLY RECOMMEND. Now for the nachos, the crawfish topped nachos were BOMB. The right amount of cheese (they don't skimp out) and a heavy serving of crawfish. These were worth it. Keep in mind though that these creations are made from scratch so expect to wait about 10/15 minutes. If you go in with that mindset you'll be totally happy. I finished fairly quickly and hopped right in the line, shorty after the line got extremely unorganized and the owner was doing nothing to fix it. After 20 MINUTES OF WAITING I asked if they could just take my order and just write it down the page after the 5 people in front of me. THE WORKER yelled at me and said NO CUTTING. I was simply not cutting and was trying to offer a solution !!!!!! I later came back to try my luck again, once again the line was a hot mess. I WAITED FOR 2 HRS only for the machine to completely break down and stop working. it was 82 degrees outside and the only thing she had to offer was to go to her store to maybe get a free snow cone. Her truck was unsanitary, the ice was dropped in the disgusting mess of syrup, and the man cutting the pineapple was clearly sneezing and sweating over the pineapples (poor man overworked). She clearly is understaffed and shouldn't be taking on events if she can't sustain them, shamefully had Xavier students who didn't work for her working in the truck not practicing sanitary behavior. An all around mess who also had the audacity to talk down upon the xavier dorms and how she didn't wanna come here in the first place. DO NOT BOOK FOR EVENTS. This place has so much to choose from but their highlight of the menu are their themed/custom snoballs. My son ordered "Birthday Cake" which was bright yellow snoball base, dripping with condensed milk and rainbow sprinkles. "Strawberry Cheesecake" was my husband's pick. A strawberry snoball base, whole slice of classic cheesecake, sliced strawberry topped with condensed milk and strawberry drizzle. I went for the "Unicorn". The grape and blueberry snoball base was topped with condensed milk, three pink & blue swirled marshmallows on a stick to resemble a unicorns horn and a tuft of cotton candy. All three flavors were awesome. Our only problem was that these things were HUGE. More ideal to share than try to eat the whole thing alone. Oh and there was a random rooster walking the courtyard. Upon arrival, we were second in line to a family of 4 and waited about 10 minutes for 1 lady to dress all 4 snowballs while the other young lady stood and watched. Gnats flying around & I paid $30 for a "designer" snowball& some crawfish nachos. The snowball was topped with a freezer section cheesecake and a sprinkle of pecan candy on top. A designer snowball is a creation by stand owner Stricen Carter and it's topped with candy cookies cheesecake and basically any goodies you can imagine. The froot Orleans comes stuffed with fruit and the only fruit they had was strawberry. FOOD: I wasn't feeling indulgent so I skipped the special flavors they're known for and opted for my go-to: coconut with condensed milk. A simple order, so I didn't think it would take as long as it did. Maybe because of COVID they're short staffed, I'm not sure, but it took at least 15mins (if not a bit longer) to get my order and only one person ordered (2 items) before me. ( @sweetthangsnola ) I had really high expectations from the pictures that have been posted and they were absolutely met n definitely exceeded . first off the girls working were so sweet n very pretty we got the crawfish nachos with jalapeños and the famous ' DESIGNER snowballs'. the chips for the nachos were delicious n the crawfish was so perfectly seasoned it went great with the cheese ughhh yessss so yummy. great prices, we got out order in 5 minutes. they are located in this cute lot along side @FrootOrleans which u can get some fresh fruit from for later. Really great snowball shop! These are not your average snowballs, these are designer snowballs. While they do have regular snowballs if you go to sweet thangs you have to get the designer snowball! I got the dreamsicle flavor and it came with orange cream snowballs, whipped cream, and a dreamsicle popsicle. It was delicious and very refreshing on a hot summer day. My boyfriend got the strawberry cheesecake snowball which is their most popular. It was a strawberry cheesecake snowball flavor with a slice of cheesecake! These snowballs are $8 but completely worth it and the most instagrammable snowball you'll find! Definitely try them out this summer! read more

The ice had a decent amount of softness & didn't have too many crunchy spots, but overall the snoball just wasn't good. There was a slice of cheesecake in it that tasted freezer burned.
