just left Sweet Things Snowball Stand, and I had a great experience! I loved the wide variety of flavors and how unique many of them were. What really stood out, though, was the owner's hospitality. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made sure we were enjoying ourselves and that everything was perfect. Excellent customer service and delicious snowballs--I'll definitely be visiting Sweet Things again!

We came here the day offer Mardi Gras and was not surprised they were a little short staffed but it was worth the wait. I got the Oreo cheesecake with ice cream and it was so good. My other after got the mango snowball and the flavor was there. I love the open space that allowed the kids to play in an enclosed area just wish they had a trash can. I hope to visit again during Jazz Fest.

Super creative snowball and ice cream creations being made in a cozy spot in the 7th ward--Sweet Thangs promises a unique and exciting experience for anyone with a sweet tooth. We ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake Banana Pudding combo and it was hugeee! Lots of crushed cookies, juicy strawberries, frozen bananas, strawberry syrup, and vanilla ice cream topped with a giant cheesecake for good measure. The syrup was a bit too chemical tasting for my liking but my fiancé really enjoyed it so that may just be my palate being strange. The cheesecake was surprisingly my favorite part of the entire experience--thick and creamy with just the right amount of sugar. I will definitely return to order a few simple items like the pralines, cheesecakes, or assorted pastries that they also sell. The lady making our dessert was quiet but friendly as she took extra care preparing our dessert right before our very eyes. Overall, I would give this place a 9/10 and I recommend it to anyone looking for both an instagrammable and delicious treat!

A relative stopped here and asked if I wanted something. After hearing what was on the menu I decided on the seafood spicy bowl. Listed at $18 (If you look at previous reviews the price has gone up in the last 4 months and her menu keeps changing) My cousin got the combo spicy bowl ($20) and i heard her on the phone ask what it came with because she was a bit confused. After clarification, it seemed the combo came with all the meats plus a pig lip. So I was rather confused when my cousin dropped my food off and the bowl was not giving $18. If I was there to see the bowl she would have never got my money because I wouldn't have left her establishment with that. I didn't like what I was given of course ima want my money back that $18 coulda went towards sum actual food. And this is our message exchange. She gone say sum "Only issue I see is it can be more seafood" The whole point of paying $18 was to get a SEAFOOD SPICY BOWL if I barely got seafood wtf am I paying for?? Peppers and Juice??? Learn to criticism without taking it as an attack. Now I'm a hater because I didn't like the food I paid for.

Love the concept the uniqueness that it brings to the snow ball screen in Nola. The snow it self was good the ice decent and the flavor was on great. They make it right in front of you. The service was good, no line when we went. But the New shop on Caliborne is small with outside seating.

Omg this is the cutest Sno-Ball stand ever ! The lady at the window was so friendly, helpful and sweet to us. The prices are fairly reasonable and you get a lot for your buck. I got the Strawberry Cheesecake and my eating buddy for the strawberry shortcake with a cheesecake slice instead of the slice of cake. The condensed milk and sweet strawberry slices were a delicious touch to this cold and tasty treat. I will be returning to try out the other flavors and the loaded nachos !

We visited the N Claiborne location on a rainy day so we were the only customers. This worked in our favor so we could easily get in and get out. We loved our snowballs and the portion size was worth the price. We actually still have a lot left and put it in the freezer. I ordered the Gentilly Cake and my gf ordered the strawberry cheesecake. Both came with an abundance of toppings and syrup. The only complaints I have are: the space is extremely small so only about 4-5 customers can fit indoor at a time and then my other concern was the amount of gnats. I think the space could use a good deep cleaning bc the display case for desserts and countertops were not clean. The floor was also sticky. The owner was very sweet and had a kind temperament.

I can't number the times I'd tried to get here & THANKS BE TO GOD, FINALLY I MADE IT!!! It was a hot day, since I was finally in the area at the time they opened, I stopped in for a refreshing snoball and I actually got more than I bargained for!!! Helloooooooooo, I got a DESIGNER SNOBALL, that was way too pretty to eat and actually took me 2 days to finish. To save time, I perused the menu before walking up to the window to order, but that was for naught, because once there, I CHANGED MY MIND. The combinations were all so appealing as described on the menu, until I felt like ordering ONE OF EACH concoction!!! I settled on the Kaleidoscope, I loved the colors and it seemed to be inspired by another well known female entrepreneur in the greater NOLA area; so I figured it was a WIN-WIN all around... support this establishment and support the other local entrepreneur. This was a fantastic choice, the snoball was flavorful, refreshing and had lots of candy laced throughout; this brought me JOY-JOY!!! The pricing was that of a designer snoball, but as I stated, I ate off this snoball for TWO WHOLE DAYS!!! I will tell folks to be patient as these aren't your average, run of the mill, one flavored snoball... these snoballs are crafted as designed on the picture and time needs to be given to make it perfectly as listed. From the time I placed my order until it was in my hand, the elapsed time was about 10 minutes. At the time I visited, there were a couple other vendors on the lot selling their wares and food items. This was a plus because one of the vendors were a pair of Vegan cooks. I was sorry I didn't know this prior to beginning to eat my snoball; but this just means I will have to return to eat some vegan food and top off my visit with my designer snoball for dessert. Street parking is the call for the day, however, the turnover of parking spots is swift, so circle the block once or twice and soon after a parking spot should appear. #thankfulthursday #thankfulthanksgiving #openduringCOVID #COVID19

Nice snowball stand with outdoor area to enjoy your snacks. This shop serves snowballs and snacks. I tried the nachos and the strawberry cheesecake snowball. I wanted to try a designer snowball but the one I wanted wasn't available at the time. Everything I had was great. It was nice to have an order area to sit and eat my snacks although there were lots of flies around us. I want to go back to try a designer snowball.

This place is so cute and dog friendly! The courtyard/ seating area is decorated with bright colors and plenty of seating. This place has so much to choose from but their highlight of the menu are their themed/custom snoballs. My son ordered "Birthday Cake" which was bright yellow snoball base, dripping with condensed milk and rainbow sprinkles. "Strawberry Cheesecake" was my husband's pick. A strawberry snoball base, whole slice of classic cheesecake, sliced strawberry topped with condensed milk and strawberry drizzle. I went for the "Unicorn". The grape and blueberry snoball base was topped with condensed milk, three pink & blue swirled marshmallows on a stick to resemble a unicorns horn and a tuft of cotton candy. All three flavors were awesome. Our only problem was that these things were HUGE. More ideal to share than try to eat the whole thing alone. Oh and there was a random rooster walking the courtyard. He's really cute and keeps to himself. Street parking only but we had no problem finding a spot. Overall I would absolutely recommend this place.
