I should have kept walking passed this place. Ordered the Caprese and Cubano Sandwiches, iced coffee to drink. Fries were thick cut and freshly fried but tasted old. The sandwiches were bland. Ice Coffee took forever to get. The one line guy working the counter seemed overwhelmed by having only two customers (us) in the entire shop. Maybe today was just a bad day.

What a Philly cheese steak. Are you kidding me!!!??? Goopy salty cheesiness with onions and meat chopped and cooked to perfection. The fries also - meaty and not over done. Mua! Order at a kiosk and pick up order at counter. Meh. Awesome, covered outdoor seating right on magazine street. Come here for the burgers, the cheese steak, the sandwiches. You won't regret it!

Stopped by for a quick bite and ended up having a rather gluttonous, a fried lobster poboy. The poboy had a GENEROUS heaping of lobster and had a nice sauce on it. The bread was quite soggy though which is the only reason it gets a 4 instead of a 5.

Get in here for some of the best sandwiches in the city. They always take Good care of you. And the fries are top notch. Be warned the lobster is market price. So id you aren't balling like that-slow your roll. Everything else on the menu is also amazing. But I have never had the meatball parm. Everything else is amazing.

I met a friend here for a casual weekday lunch after passing by many times. The inside has more of a deli feel with a giant butcher block table in the middle and barrel like wood stools for sitting communally, a self serve fridge for cold drinks and a kiosk for ordering. There was a surprising amount of coffee, beer, tea and cocktail beverages available along with sodas. I would not have thought of getting specialty drinks here but might try one in the future. I ordered the Lamb Belly Gyro which came with fries. With a coke it was about $20. The meat was great and fries are amazing. The pita and toppings were okay. Would probably try something else next time. Overall the service was quick and efficient. Enjoyed it!

This is a take out review. The juice was pretty standard. Beets aren't that tasty so don't expect it to be sweet. Now the sandwich did not look like the picture at all. I was in the mood for a panini so that's what I kind of wanted to see. It was still tasty but didn't look appetizing. The service was nice. Pretty standard for take out service. The fries were good as well. Nothing too crazy

Cupboards were bare at the Fat Boy Pantry. Literally 1/3 of the menu was unavailable, you place an order at a kiosk, and our food sat in the window after it was ready, bc the notification system didn't work. Killer Po Boys was 10x better.

Fried Lobster PoBoy Oof this was the delivery order I regretted most. Partly my own fault--I wasn't as hungry as I thought I was. Decided to order this because of the high reviews. It wasn't terrible, but way way too heavy and salty to enjoy properly. The sauce was pretty good, I'll give it that. But mostly just a sad use of lobster and salty enough that I could feel my blood pressure rising.

food is like a 4.3 but service isn't. i paid $2.50 for avocados and didn't get them. i bought this to-go for takeout. check your food before you order!

Must try the lobster po-boy. Walked here with several colleagues while we were looking for a quick bite. The shop was clean, cozy, with several stools and countertops for folks who would like to dine-in. I had to order the lobster po-boy (MP, close to $30) because, hey, I'm in New Orleans, and glad that I did. The po-boy was filled with fresh-tasting bites of lobster, lettuce and just enough of a creamy sauce to hold the po-boy together. Although the lobster was fried, the crunch from the batter was just right, not too crunchy and not to soft. I do have to say that I was a bit sad when I finished my last bite. But for the somewhat steep price, I would have ordered more than one. After the order, there was a bit of a wait, close to 20 minutes, with about 3 orders ahead of me, before getting my po-boy. Thus, be prepared for a longer wait if it gets busier.

    Zulu Oreos n Cream
    Uyen N.

This place has good ice cream, but not as good as Creole Creamery tho. They only have 6 flavors when we visit. My favorite is the Zulu, a coconut ice cream with chocolate. Normally, I'm not that big of a fan of coconut ice cream/dessert, cuz usually the coconut is just too strong, but this one has a good balance. Their Oreos n cream has a lot of oreo chunks in it, making it a little too sweet. PB&J is pretty good, too, but can be a little too much at some point. They also sell burgers and sndwiches here but we didn't try.

Pantry Cheeseburger with Side Fries. Absolute perfection. Chef's kiss. My fiancé said gyro was just ok.

The cold brew is wicked strong like much stronger than what I order normally at Starbucks. The iced London Fog lattes I discovered are premade, which overall my wife thought was alright, but she liked that they had gluten free blueberry muffins. The chocolate croissant was solid. The service was prompt and friendly. And the decor had a rustic ambiance with the brick walls, dark book shelving and garden patio in the back. The coffee bar has a hidden quality about it that is alluring and appealing. It was good to check out before we concluded our recent stay in NOLA.

The Vintage - New Orleans, LA…read more The Vintage on Magazine Street was our very first food stop in New Orleans, and it turned out to be a great way for my wife and me to start our trip. From the moment we walked in, I really liked the atmosphere. The place has a cool, relaxed New Orleans vibe with a little bit of an upscale café feel without being overly fancy. It's the kind of spot where you can come in, sit down, enjoy some good food and drinks, and just take your time. Of course, we couldn't come to New Orleans and not start things off with beignets! We decided to go with the Fancy Beignet Flight, which gave us a chance to try several different flavors. We got the raspberry, s'mores, and Chantilly. They came out looking almost too good to eat, covered in powdered sugar with all the different fillings and toppings. Almost... because we definitely ate them! They were warm, sweet, messy in the best possible way, and a fun introduction to our New Orleans food adventure. For my meal, I ordered the Italian Panini with the truffle Parmesan fries. The sandwich was packed with meat, cheese, and flavor. Looking at that cross-section, they definitely weren't being stingy with the fillings! The bread was toasted nicely, and everything worked well together. The truffle fries were another highlight. They had plenty of seasoning and Parmesan and paired perfectly with the sandwich. I also grabbed a small iced mocha, which went really well with the food and especially the beignets. One thing I really enjoyed about The Vintage was the atmosphere. The interior has a lot of character, from the marble tables and vintage-style flooring to the bar and pastry display. It feels like a place that belongs on Magazine Street. It was comfortable enough that we didn't feel rushed and could just enjoy being in New Orleans together. The service was good during our visit, and everything came together for a really enjoyable first meal in the city. Our bill came to around $48 after tax and tip for the two of us, and considering we had a sandwich, upgraded fries, drinks, and the beignet flight, I thought it was a good experience for the money. Most importantly, this place gave my wife and me a great start to our New Orleans trip. When your first stop includes a loaded Italian panini, truffle Parmesan fries, iced coffee, and a whole flight of beignets, you know the trip is starting off right! Definitely a place I would visit again. Great food, great atmosphere, and a great first taste of New Orleans. 5 stars from us!

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!
