I also ordered shrimp and salmon grits and I got my salmon blackened and I got the peach cobbler bread pudding. My key takeaways are the salmon and shrimp grits dish was very flavorful. My beignets were hot and fresh and I loved the taste and texture but it was missing the powdered sugar and I would've liked to have had a dipping sauce, maybe chocolate caramel or strawberry with it, not sure if I should've asked for it or if it should've came as an addition. The waitress checked with the cooks, and they claimed the spinach did not come with the meal, even though it was clearly listed on the menu. They then attempted to charge extra for it, despite it being included in the advertised price. I also asked to speak with a manager, but no manager ever came out. Unfortunately, the poor communication and lack of customer service from the kitchen staff and management overshadowed what could have been a much better experience.
