When we got to the counter, we politely let the staff know that we were first-timers. Instead of being welcoming or offering a quick rundown of the menu, they were not friendly at all. We had a few basic questions about the menu, but it was clear that the staff was visibly annoyed by them. We left feeling like our presence was inconveniencing them. A major warning to anyone planning to visit: You need to research exactly how to order here ahead of time. If you don't know exactly what you want the second you step up, you will end up holding up the line, and the staff does not have the patience for it. As for the ice cream itself, it was actually good. We ordered the chocolate and vanilla soft serve, as well as the matcha soft serve topped with corn flake streusel. They have a lot of really interesting toppings on the menu, we saw things like Cheez-It brittle that looked unique, but we didn't end up trying them because we just wanted to finish our order and get out of the uncomfortable environment. No matter how good the soft serve is, it's hard to justify going back to a place that makes you feel like an annoyance just for being a new customer. It's highly unlikely we will return.

In that case, Yoforia is there for you. They've got 6 flavors - some tart, some fat free, some neither. Pick what you like, add one of the two dozen or s toppings (mostly candy & fruit) and one or more of the 4-5 sauces and you're done. I think it's about 50 cents per ounce which really isn't bad. The froyo itself reminds me a little of Freshens - a little grainy, a little too sweet. But I like that you're the one dispensing your product and adding your toppings so you can be as heavy handed (or not) as you like. Overall.
