Half cheese and half pepp and ricotta... fantastic pie
    Peter M.

Ordered this pizza from a recommendation from DoorDash. Normally I cross check businesses on DoorDash with yelp. In this case, I'm glad I didn't. I may not have ordered. The crust is thin for sure. The cheese rich and the sauce sweet, but not too sweet. The only thing I could've used more of were the hunks of delicious tomato. They offer a puréed version of sauce, because, well, kids. I was a fan of the adult version. I ordered a side of ranch as well and I was really surprised at how delicious that was. Clearly made in house. 4/5 and I recommend.

One of the better pizza and sandwich spots in the greater Boston area. Good ingredients, variety of options and huge pizzas. Love the Garden Veggie pizza with chicken and olives added. Also the pesto chicken sandwich is good.

DO NOT ORDER CALZONE! This is not a calzone. It is a half of a pizza with a thin layer of dough on top. Paid the price of a whole large pizza to get this thin mess with barely any fillings. I will note that the service is great and I really enjoy the pizza, but this calzone really made me disappointed.

Providing an update following the first adventure into Sweet Tomatoes sandwiches. Unfortunately they were out of turkey when I placed my order, so they replaced my turkey and brie with roast chicken. Not ideal, but the sandwich was super delicious and still warm when I got home. My sister tried the di Napoli sandwich and "delicious." We both agreed the bread is really good, there is a good filling/bread ratio, and the ingredients are top notch. I'd love to try some of their other food as well! First review: Somehow my initial review got deleted with all my opinions on the pizza. Here is my attempt to reconstruct. I've gotten pizza here a few times now, delivery has been quick and easy. I got the veggie garden with added veggies, and the classic cheese. I think this is the type of pizza where the plain, classic choice is the best. I also really enjoyed when I just added basil. The sauce is nice and chunky and the cheese is really delicious without being too stringy (not a fan of really stringy or thick cheese). The crust is very thin. When re-heating you can see there is quite a bit of oil. It didn't bother me when it arrived still-warm, but I dabbed some off when I re-heated. The veggies on the veggie garden are super delicious and fresh. I definitely recommend, but I think it's really at its best fresh from the oven, not as good re-heated.

This is a chain pizza place in the Boston area this location has street parking available or you can park in the lot cross the street near a CPS pick up. The store is very clean and people are friendly. The products were they lost stars for me. I ordered a spinach salad which was basic ingredients. The veggie pesto pizza in gluten free was not the best flavors in the crust was extremely hard where if your not careful you could chip a tooth. The surprise is the cost. It's very pricey for food that isn't the greatest and comes in small amounts or portions. I look forward to trying some of the other options for pizza of places in the area. Happy eating!

Pizza had no chance making it home unscathed

I curated a delectable pie, starting with the best thin Neapolitan crust in town. The meats are particularly good here; I'm no vegan. I doubled the three primary pig meats (bacon, ham, and fennel sausage) and added onion, along with extra sauce. Heaps of basil, too. Well worth it because each piece is a meal in itself and freezes nicely if done in a proper airtight manner. Again: The foundational crust is unsurpassed. Thanks Devin (sp?) for making a killer pie!

You had me at Spiced Carrot Soup!…read more Jinny's Pizzeria located in Newton Centre and steps away from where I work is the place to be. With excellent pizza, service and a great cocktail and wine menu, everything they offer is excellent. We have been only a few times mainly because this place gets so jam packed that it is hard to get a table. Small, quaint and cute neightborhood gem. You can tell all the locals flock to this place every weekend. The bar is also perfect to grab a quick bite and it is first come first serve. Move over Tatte because this Spiced Carrot Soup was phenomenal. And, I mean it. From asking the owner to "how do I make this at home" to practically wanting to order another bowl. And, don't get me started on their homemade foccacia bread that came with it. Every dunk of this bread into the luscious soup had me craving more and more. Best part, I was actually full. Hallelujah! All I have to say is head to Jinny's for their pizza, but don't forget they have a whole menu to choose from as well. And, everything tastes great and is nice and fresh. You will definitely stay awhile eating and drinking here at this cozy spot. Cheers~

One of the very best pizza spots in and around Newton!…read more The dough is amazing. It's soft and pillowy, just how I like my crust. Everything is fired in a wood oven, that you can get a full view of in the open concept kitchen. Seating is pretty limited, but in the summer there are a few outdoor tables. It's a great spot for take out as well, although parking can be a challenge at peak times. The pizza is a smaller size and runs north of $20. It's worth it, but more for the artisan pizza taste and quality. This likely isn't the place you're going to buy 10 pizzas for the SuperBowl, but if you're looking for high quality ingredients and the perfect dough, this is your spot. The available specialty pizzas are great combinations of flavors. I think they even do one with pineapple, as controversial as that is for some people. I saw the Rosso Pie online, but not on the menu when I went to dine-in. The friendly waiter was more than happy to request it for me from the kitchen. Sometimes I like a pie with no cheese on it. Difficult to find great pizza in MA, but this place fits the bill. Great pizza, great people.

The dining room is fairly small with some bar seating available as well. It was clean and bright. It took about 7 mins for the server to come over and she lead with "are you ready to order?" I guess simple pleasantries are useless anyway. We knew our drinks and appetizers order but not what we wanted for pizza yet so we ordered those and told her we'd order pizzas when the apps and drinks came. She came back about 3 minutes later and asked if we were ready to order yet. Feeling pressured, we ordered thinking that perhaps they close soon (not the case). The bartender delivered our drinks a few minutes later and about 5 mins after that both the appetizers and pizza arrived at the same time. Besides the fact that our table wasn't large enough to accommodate all that food and drink, it was never our intention to eat our appetizers with our meal. The good news is that the food was hot, fresh and tasty. The potato bombs were excellent. Crispy home fry like potatoes and the peppers had a nice heat. I would love to try the popper version next time. The pizzas were good too, but be prepared for floppy and slightly under done base crust but a perfectly charred edge crust. I find many wood fired pizza to come this way but I did see other reviews mention this as a negative. The bill comes in a small ball jar with a delicious rice crispy treat. While the jar worked it must have made it hard to see that I dropped my credit card in it, so after the waitress walked by a few times I removed the card and made it visible on the table. When the tab came to sign I was not given a pen. I should have walked out and just let them charge me for just the tab but I cannot stiff waitstaff, even when it's poor service. My only hope is that it was the waitress's first day and she somehow figures out the typical cadence and procedure involved in waiting tables. Food was a solid 4 but service was a 2 so I landed on a 3. I would definitely go back hoping for a better server.
