Nae Nae Philly with grilled onions, green bell peppers with vegan Philly meat and vegan "cheez" sauce on a toasted bun. Huge serving!

I've been a solid customer for over a year and I've never been disappointed. This is one of those spots where you bring omnivores and they question if everything is really vegan. High quality, delicious food and great service! It's keeps me coming back time and time again.

Shaniya breakfast skillet was delicious!! (Breakfast potatoes, onions, just egg scramble, sausage)

This is the newest vegan spot in the Lou, and the only 100% vegan spot on this side of town. They offer comfort food, burgers, Philly cheesesteak, chkn sandwiches/wraps/buffalo nuggets, fries, and onion rings. They also have shakes, which I really want to try but they aren't always available. The owner is slowly releasing breakfast items. She posted an Instagram photo of the Shaniya Skillet and I couldn't hop out of bed fast enough! (I hear pancakes could also be in our future!) SHANIYA SKILLET - scrambled egg, seasoned potatoes, onions, and sausage. Whew!! I was taken aback by how impressive this dish was with so few ingredients. The magic is in the seasoning and the preparation. Everything was on point and beyond. I typically would add hot sauce to a dish like this but she had a spicy mayo so I tried that instead (not that it needed it though). It really just enhanced what was already there - deliciousness! I also tried the vanilla cupcake. The cake had a weird, thick, dense, and gummy consistency. The icing was ok. I wouldn't order it again. I do, however, look forward to trying just about everything else on the menu. They are located in a shared commercial kitchen space in a strip mall behind the Mobil gas station off Natural Bridge and McKelvey, in Bridgeton. It was initially carry out only, but it looks like they recently added some bar-top tables. Currently only open on the weekends. Black, woman owned business. The menu is available on Toast Takeout. Download the Toast App and join the rewards program. You'll get $5 off of your order for every 50 points accrued.

I have eaten here twice, both times with non vegans and they loved their meal. Today my daughter got the Buffalo ckn wrap and I had the Shaniya skillet. Both delicious. We also both had a latte. Last time I came here with my son I had the Nae nae Philly and he had a cheeseburger and a cupcake. Had a bit of a wait for our food, and seating is limited so better to order ahead. They do have games to occupy your time while you wait. Heads up, they keep the door locked, just wait and they will let you in. Also the front of the building says commissary, you are in the right place! There is parking in front of the building. This is a hidden gem, even if you are not vegan you need to try it!

This is a to go food spot and it's a little hard to find if you've never been there. They do have a small bar so we ate there. The flavors are there, but our food was cold. The fries, meat & grilled veggies all cold. We were disappointed because we've heard such good things about this place. I don't think our experience is the norm, but I'm not sure I'd go back.

I could get vegan eggs and vegan bacon, and my friends could get their chicken eggs and turkey bacon. My favorites here were the vegan milkshakes, pancakes, vegan bacon, brussels sprouts, and the shrimp po'boy. Unfortunately, I'm speaking of them in past tense because as of tonight, 09May, they have permanently closed. My family and I were some of the very last customers. They were out of all my favorites, so it was extra sad for me. I ended up trying the tacos for the first time. They were cool. But I'm surely going miss my favorites! The owners also own Frida's and Diego's, off Delmar and North & South. I personally don't care for the food at either one, but rumor has it, they might bring some of the Station No 3 favs over to one of these restaurants (which are right next door to each other).

It's a great place to go with your vegan friends as there are many options for vegans and non vegans alike. It's counter service or order from a QR code at your table. They also seem to have a full bar. There was a Wednesday happy hour when we were there $9 old fashioned and potato skins. All and all it was pretty good but I would have liked to see some healthier options that weren't salad, like more fresh veggies in dishes.

They definitely did not disappoint! From the moment our food came out, everything smelled amazing. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries with the spinach dip, and I absolutely loved the homemade chips that came with it. My kids got kids' meals and enjoyed their food as well. I also ordered a chicken Philly to-go for my son since it was his birthday, which made the visit even more special. Emma was our server, and she was very nice and attentive throughout our meal. I also loved that they have patio seating it's such a nice option, especially on a beautiful day even though we did not sit outside the patio seating we wanted was not open that night. I also liked how they had merchandise to buy while in the restaurant like tees, sweatshirts, bottles of wine . They also cook books for sale in their resturant by another shop we had recently been to called Made by Lia. That was definitely a nice community touch to show how close the area is to their companions! In addition, we had a great first experience and will definitely be back with the rest of the family!

The building does a lot of the work here: an old place sitting in the middle of Old Town Florissant's residential blocks, with a bar, a dining room, a porch, and a patio we didn't get to use (next cool evening, we will). It's charming, and a real asset to that neighborhood. It is also loud. Old plaster, hard surfaces, not enough hung on the walls to absorb any of it. The old fashioned was solid, sweeter than I prefer. Appetizers were the low point: toasted ravioli thick and hard enough to qualify as gum scratchers (filling was fine), flatbread middle of the road. Then the kitchen found its footing. Parmesan-encrusted chicken won the table, with a nice rice-orzo pilaf and green beans that weren't overcooked. The Jameson whiskey burger came blue cheese, bacon, crispy onions, glaze, brioche, and ate dry (although ordered medium): too many rich flavors, nothing acidic to cut through them. Burnt ends mac and cheese was good and rich, but the brisket wasn't tender as I had hoped. We caught a night with only one dessert (a moist Lemon Sunshine cake that tasted like a Dreamsicle) and ice cream to put beside it. Christy took good care of us, efficiently and strictly by the book. 3.7 out of 5 stars Punch up the apps, and bring some balance to some of the entrees and this would bring up my rating to the low 4s. Bring the relatives who flinch at a menu. Acid somewhere on the plate, tender brisket, ice cream by the cake, and something soft on those walls would move this up quickly.

This filling had lots of chunks of chicken, and the vegetables and gravy were a flavor bomb. This was the best that I've had in a long time. We were seated quickly and our waitress, Karen, stopped by for drink orders and asked if we had dined there before, that was an affirmative. Karen was no nonsense and efficient, telling us about the special and answering questions about the pot pie. We happened to be seated next to a table from someone I knew, so we didn't have to pretend not to stare at the food they ordered, lol. We just talked about all that we ordered. Their Piccadilly fish looked amazing as did the rib special. I ordered the chicken pot pie, I had been thinking about it, and craving carbs to boot and it didn't disappoint. Karen informed me that it had lima beans and corn, so I wasn't shocked by that. Came in a bowl draped with puff pastry. Pastry was flaky and lightly browned, the base was creamy with lots of chicken chunks, carrots, corn, and lima beans. I haven't had lima beans before and I liked them. I had ordered the soup of the day, Tuscan white bean that sounded great, but I thought it was just ok. Husband ordered the fried chicken with slaw and mashed potatoes. The chicken was HOT! I enjoyed the leg piece I snagged off his plate, the breading is thin and adhered well to the chicken, the slaw was creamy, I didn't try the potatoes. Great home-style food, nice atmosphere, efficient service. Try the pot pie!
