Basil lunch special with the soup, wonton and spring roll
    Dave F.

Same good service Same good flavors Lunch special was $13.50 plus tax and tip. The ambience was slow this Monday for lunch. I was surprised till I saw the lunch special cost. Granted the flavor was excellent, but charging 50% more than standard Chinese places makes me think this is a special occasion. Was it worth the price? Occasionally

    Drunken noodles (level 2 spicy)

As someone who travels a lot to STL, this is a place I come to often for food. Finding the place isn't the easiest off the street as their sign doesn't stand out too much. And it's very easy to miss the only entrance. However, I've never had issues finding parking even when it's at its fullest. Once inside, the staff is very quick to greet and sit you. Immediately they are kind and bring water for everyone. The place isn't large, but there's lots of seating. It's also clean and tidy. Finally, the food. This time I ordered the Chicken Drunken Noodles with a level 2 spicy. The last time I ordered it as a level 4 and it was a little unbearable for me. Level 2 was perfect for my standards. The chicken was absolutely delicious, filling, and had a very enjoyable level of spice. I do think the noodles and vegetables could have used some more flavoring other than the spice. If people are looking for a good place to eat and want thai, I do recommend this restaurant. I know I'll be a returning customer.

It's a nice looking, small place on the inside. I like the vibes. It's dark and kind of quaint looking. I haven't quite found a favorite dish yet but I'd like to keep trying. They have a good selection of Thai and Vietnamese dishes. A lot of local people love this place and rave about it.

Went here for an early lunch so there was plenty of seating. There is a lunch special which I wanted to order, but they don't allow any substitutions so I ordered off the regular menu. Food was flavorful and the menu has many vegan options, I will definitely be adding this as a regular lunch spot. Staff was helpful and friendly and decor was classy. Music playing gave a nice vibe

Ordered crispy shrimp rolls while I waited for my friend's order to be prepared. She has never been here, so I told her to get the Thai ribs, shrimp rolls and my personal fav Panang curry with shrimp. It comes with a side of rice. I know she is going to love it We are going to have to eat in soon.

This is one of my top restaurants to go to and my favorite Thai restaurant of all time! Customer service is truly amazing. The inside is nice and cozy to eat in. However I took it to-go. Everything I ate was good except the Thai fried rice I thought it was okay. The drunkin noodles were amazing. I added the level 3 spice and it was actually spicy. I honestly didn't think I would enjoy the coconut shrimp curry but it was recommended to me and I fell in love with all the flavors! The ribs were tender and flavorful. I recommend this spot to everyone I meet.

Back at it again to try this massive menu. Second visit and counting. On this day I ordered the Bangkok noodle with shrimp and crispy won tons. For Drink I ordered the 4hands brewing Pineapple Prussia. In my opinion the Bangkok noodle was very good and steaming hot. All vegetables were crunchy and delicious and plentiful, but the noodles remind me of cooked Ramen noodles with no water. It became sticky really quick and this evaporated the noodles into mush. So I feel this was just a fancy overpriced ramen noodle dish I can make at home. Now the won tons were fantastic. Crispy nice portion and beautiful golden. . My drink was more of a cider than a beer but either way I loved it. I would definitely get it again. Service was speedy and staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back for more. Until next time :)

We have been to this place many times and we love it! They always open on time and their food is so good. Usually busy around 5-8pm. This is a medium size place with 7-8 tables. They also have outdoor seating! Enough space to serve many people. Also the waiters are always nice. Service is fast. Today we ordered Satay Chicken as appetizer, was grilled, served with coconut & (I think) peanut sauce and cucumber salad. So good! Our Kirin Ichiban beers served in glass, we love it! Then we've got Thai Rama w/chicken (veggies, chicken, coconut milk sauce + side steamed rice) and Pearl's Bibimbop came with sunny side up egg, soy, veggies, rice and chicken. Thai Rama was delicious but has little too much coconut flavor in it, we prefer less. Overall, this was, again, an amazing Thai food experience! We will definitely come back.

This is a nice place to sit down and have a meal with a group or by yourself. The service is fast and friendly and the prices are very decent. I've only gone during the week around lunch time and have gotten seated immediately. The reason I couldn't give more stars is because the food is just okay. It didn't have a whole lot of flavor, especially for Thai food. I'll give it some more tries though because it was a good experience and there are so many great reviews. Just a bit underwhelming for me so far.

Thai Chili Fried Rice with tofu, added garlic; spice level 4. Delicious! (But not at all spicy)
    Tigra C.

I have a couple of favorite dishes from here: Sen Yai Num Prik Paow ordered with veggies (sans mushrooms and bamboo shoots). This is a very flavorful dish and I find myself craving it often. It is a noodle dish and they use rice noodles. The first time I got a spice level 4 and it was just ok. The last couple of times I ordered spice level 5 and it gave me the level of spice that I enjoy. 10/10 would order again. Thai Chili Fried Rice ordered with well done tofu, added garlic. Another flavorful dish from here. There's a good portion of broccoli and red peppers included with the green peppers and scallions. Spice level 4 was good but not spicy. Spice level 5 brought some spice, but the rice seemed a little drier, as if they didn't use as much chili sauce/oil. Still 10/10 would order again. Pearl's Spicy Curry with veggies (sans mushrooms); no protein. I ordered it at a spice level 4 and it had a little kick to it, but not too spicy. This curry is delicious. I particularly liked the level of curry provided; it was a very good portion. I remember trying them a few years back (I don't remember what I ordered though) and it being ok, but not good enough to want to come back. Not sure if I ordered the wrong thing back then or if they've improved. Either way, I've found my go to spot for Thai, and it's worth the drive.

I enjoy pearls, they have delicious food and good service. When you pull in, you will find plenty of parking space and they have a private parking lot. You walk through the front door and you're usually greeted. There is a sign, stating that they will seat you at a table, however, I am a regular and they let me sit anywhere I want, as I think most regulars can, unless they are crowded, most people should walk in and they will seat you. You won't have too long if any. The food is delicious. It's a Thai restaurant so make sure you like Thai food and they do have a few vegetarian options. The only thing I've seen vegetarian is a tofu or vegetable entree and a few appetizers. You won't be disappointed and it's delicious and I love the Thai tea, be sure to try one. I haven't been disappointed with anything I've eaten here. The dessert menu is kind of small, but as a matter of fact, I have not made it to dessert because I usually order two entrees or appetizers and entrees and after that I am full.. The prices are moderate. They're not too expensive. Two people can go for lunch with drinks, three entrees or two entrees and an appetizer like $45 bucks. Just say $50 with the tip and that's actually almost three people. Now the dinner menu is a little more expensive and those prices are going to be a little higher, but the lunch menu is more economical.

Went to Pearl Cafe with a decent-sized group for a weekday lunch around 11:45, and we were seated immediately. Half of our group ordered the lunch specials, which come with rice, a fried spring roll, Thai butterfly, and the soup of the day. I got the yellow curry, which was delicious. The sauce was on the runnier side, but I didn't mind, and the spice level was just right. The soup of the day was glass noodles with carrots, but we found it a bit too salty. My coworker ordered the basil chicken and thought it was also on the salty side, so if you're sensitive to salt, you might want to choose something else. However, I didn't find the curry salty, and the portion size was good. Overall, it was a solid lunch spot with some tasty options.

The best Thai food in the Saint Louis area! So flavorful!…read more Addie's Thai not only provides a friendly, professional full service dining experience but also puts utmost flavor and intention into their beautiful dishes. I've worked at Thai restaurants in St. Louis including Chao Baan, King and I, and the original Thai Bistro in Wildwood (before 2022 sale) so I know what authentic and flavorful Thai food should taste like. Friends and I have been searching for Thai food as good as the original Thai Bistro in Wildwood and I'm happy to say I've finally found it! We happened to try this restaurant because my sister asked if the family could meet somewhere "different" for her birthday. The restaurant staff helped us make a reservation for 10 people in their semi-private dining room. We had kids with us and they were also happy with the food! We were impressed not only by the food but also by the white tablecloths, real cloth napkins, and ornate traditional décor throughout the restaurant. We selected wine by the glass and cocktails from their full-bar list on the menu. We started with an array of appetizers from the menu including wings, dumplings, spring rolls, and fresh rolls. We agreed our favorites were the dumplings and spring rolls. We also shared entrées Phad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Red Curry, Angry Beef, Thai Fried Rice and Vegetable Stir Fry. Our favorites were Red Curry, Drunken Noodles, and Phad Thai. I tend to judge a Thai restaurant on the thickness and flavor of their curry and the color, flavor, and sauciness of their Phad Thai. Both dishes checked all of the boxes I'd qualify as 5 stars. I'm so happy the Addie's Thai curry is thick and flavorful while having the perfect spice balance. It's my pet peeve when Thai restaurants water down curry or overly sweeten it because they want to cater to the average American palette. Addie's Thai does not do that thankfully. The Phad Thai had a gorgeous golden brown color and the flavor clearly indicated they use traditional Tamarind in the sauce. So delicious! We took home so many leftovers simply because their portion sizes are so large! Come with an appetite! We are so happy to have found such a delicious Thai restaurant in West St. Louis County and the birthday girl left very satisfied with our meal.

I've been coming here on and off for over 11 years, and the consistency is a big reason I keep returning. Camille, who has been there for quite some time, took care of our table. She's always efficient, friendly, and welcoming, with a calm demeanor and a genuine smile that makes the experience even better. My usual favorites are the Angry Chicken and the Sweet Basil Chicken, and this time the Angry Chicken won out--I ordered it at a 2-star spice level. It was flavorful with just the right amount of heat. One of the nice perks of weekday lunch is that each person gets two fried spring rolls. They came out quickly and were served with a sweet and sour sauce--simple but very delicious. When our entrées arrived, a large pot of perfectly cooked rice was placed on the table, followed by our main dishes. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying. This has long been one of my go-to places for hosting out-of-town guests, and it continues to deliver solid Thai dishes and great service.
