For a small upcharge you can get a salad as a side, I like to do that because I can steal a few of the delicious fries from my companions. The salad is generous, spring mix, red onion, tomato, croutons. It comes with shaved parmesan, but I ask them to leave that off. The champagne vinaigrette is perfect. I went with a Double and swapped out the American Cheese for Pepper Jack. For my side, I tried their Salt&Pepper Onion Rings. After ordering, I took my number stick and took a seat at the bar. Once seated, the bartender welcomed me and I ordered a draft beer. I barely had completed my Wordle and my burger basket was being slid in front of me. Before taking my first bite, I admired the crisp edges and actually ran my finger around them. My first bite was heaven. It proved to me that all a good smash burger needs is; ketchup, mustard, onion and pickles. The Onion Rings were made in house and the simple seasoning of Salt & Pepper made them a winner. While dining at the bar, I learned a new trick. If you're going to be sitting at the bar to enjoy your smash burger, you can order it from the bartender.
