I was working from home I was hungry for lunch. I ordered a turkey sub from Sweet Willy's for pick up. Good choice for sure! I got a regular sub as opposed to a half sub but, I probably should have gotten a half sub because I ate the whole thing. It was so good. The roll was so fresh. They do not skimp on anything. Lots of turkey, nice slices of Swiss cheese, fresh tomatoes and shredded lettuce and white onion. Perfect amount of mayonnaise. Delicious. I have never been inside here. I'm sad to say I have never eaten inside this restaurant. I have always gotten delivery. It is super cute inside. Lots of people there enjoying their lunch. I don't think it's table service though I think you order your food and then you sit at the table. I'm not sure. I've never been there to eat but now I have to go. Sweet Willy's has a good upstate NY pie! A family place. Their regular pizza is somewhere in between thin and thick crust with a good ratio of sauce and cheese. The sauce is sweet but not cloying. They have lots of topping choices. They also have pasta meals, hot and cold subs, fish fries, appetizers and desserts. I recently ordered a grilled chicken sub. The sub was tasty with a homemade marinade on the chicken. My only minor complaint was the chicken was a little dry but that's the nature of boneless, skinless chicken breast. The food is great and prices are reasonable. Sweet Willy's also has heart. They truly give back whenever they can from sponsoring little league, or posting a flyer about a local event. My family and I go to Sweet Willy's every Friday night and it's always a treat. Extra special touches and always feeling welcomed are simply part of what they do. Running a small family business isn't easy but even on busy Friday nights, when I'm sure they could use more hands, they bring theirs together to offer the best tasting pizza, mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, soup, salad, calzones, sandwiches, chicken parm and everything else they offer with personal touches that makes Sweet Willy's even sweeter. No frill, standard American pie. I like this pizza. If you're really hungry and looking for a hearty pie with good flavors, this is a good option. I've become a fan of the White Broccoli Ricotta pizza. It's a thicker style, but good flavors of garlic. It's satisfying. It's close to my house. It hits the marks for me. Also, the pizzas I've gotten have been consistent. I've found the wait to be inconvenient at times. Get there to pick up and still have to wait 10 minutes or more, that can be annoying and more memorable than the meal itself sometimes. But, at least they are busy. read more

Not only is the food amazing but the staff is always friendly. I have visited on Valentines Day and was given 6 free chocolate covered Strawberries, I have always been treated as we walk through the door. Staff is always reassuring that your food is good and checking to see if they can do anything further for you. We have ordered take out & eaten in shop. Owners are always present and friendly. Came for vacation in Massachusetts, but we needed some delicious pizza when we left the airport. So, I looked on Yelp to see what places were in the area. We were pleased to find this cute pizza shop. We want to help support small businesses and the excellent reviews led us here. It definitely did not disappoint. We ordered a large half cheese and half pepperoni and jalapeño pizza and some buffalo wings. It was delicious and definitely hit the spot! So many locals and regulars were picking up orders. The gentleman at the counter, was taking orders on the phone, helping customers, as well as making sure we had what we needed since we dined in. Everyone that was in and out of there seemed friendly and happy to order all sorts of things on their menu. You could definitely tell all the employees were working hard to get everyone's order in and out! Hopefully, we can stop by again before we leave, would love to try more things on the menu. Pizza is good here. Crust is fluffy with a good crumb and a bit of bite. Sauce and cheese are good. Toppings are relatively generous and tasty. Specialty pizzas are a nice deal too, particularly deluxe and meat lover's. Price is reasonable and delivery arrived when they said they would. Never been to the restaurant though. The person that answered the phone to take my order was in a great mood, and made me realize that they love pizza just as much as I love pizza which is always a good sign! Their sauce is great and the pizza arrives steaming hot still, but their crust leaves much to be desired in regards to texture and flavor. The bottom was overcooked and cardboard in texture. I've been a regular at Sweet Willy's for a while now and can attest to their delicious and creative food. The Chicken Bacon Ranch and BBQ pizzas are by far my favorite, especially with a side of crispy jalapeño poppers. I've never been disappointed at Sweet Willy's and always leave with a smile on my face and money in my wallet. Started going to Willie's several years ago, we liked to support a neighborhood business. We ordered from there at least once a week, sometimes more for several years and never had an issue. Roughly a year and a half ago I placed a phone order and was given a pick up time of 20 -25 min. Showed up at 25 and was told by the counter person that it would be a few more minutes due to an unexpected large order. No problem stuff happens. After another 25 minutes went by I asked the counter guy what the status of my order was and he responded with a shrug. I poked my head around the door to the kitchen just wanting to know if I'd be there 5 more minutes or 25 more minutes, seemed like a fair question to me given the I've been waiting over twice the appointed pick up time. Well the owner went off on me big time. I didn't respond but finally got my order and left. Went back tonight for the first time since and ordered and requested 2 minutes of the owners time to clear the air. Got my order promptly, but the owner was too busy to spare two minutes. My family was really trying to make this our go-to pizza shop because the food is good and we wanted to support a family business in SC. We've ordered delivery and picked up at the counter from here 25+ times since they opened four or five years ago. They are SO nice. Good people! Unfortunately, our orders are wrong a lot. Tonight, we ordered wings and asked for all flats, instead of a mix of drums and flats, for a guest we were entertaining at our house. Wings arrived and they were all drums. We also paid for extra blue cheese and didn't receive that either. This happens ALL the time here. The mistakes are never huge but it is incredibly annoying to not get what you ordered and paid for. This has happened to us multiple times. I've called back to fix my order in the past and been offered "credit" but then no one could verify my "credit" when I went to use it. Why would I even bother to call back if they have no sure method of crediting me for mistakes on their end? I like their soft serve ice cream in the summer and I will still stop by for a slice on the go but I'm going to stick with a more consistent pizza place for large orders from now on. read more

After reading the two positive reviews, I decided to try Sweet Willy's pizza for dinner. Got there around 6:30pm and there was a kid's birthday party winding down and a couple of people sitting around but not eating. The one counter person was on the phone and never acknowledged my presence and avoided all eye contact. Lots of people in the kitchen but none were inclined to help out. While waiting, checked out the slices that were available, which wasn't much and most looked well past their prime. That surprised me as dinner hour was in full swing. It's been about 10-15 minutes and the counter person is still on the phone (maybe taking an order, maybe not?) and my presence still not acknowledged by anyone. Decided that since the slices weren't fresh and nobody seemed anxious to take my money I left. This is by far my family's favorite pizza place! Besides the great pizza, subs, desserts and soups, the service is fantastic! I have small children, and Sweet Willy's always welcomes us into their restaurant. My kids love that they can get their own slices (chicken bacon ranch, pepperoni, buffalo chicken, veggie, plain etc.) and my husband I love that there are booths for us to sit and eat and coloring pages and crayons handy to occupy the kids as we wait for our food. On July 25th the Walkers had sweet Willys pizza on sand creek road cater our wedding. They did an excellent job at a reasonable price. All dishes were made with garden fresh vegetables and cooked on our property. We would highly recommend sweet willys. read more
