Bruschetta Pizza
Juliet V.

Not bad. We were looking for some delivery 'za on National Pizza Day. Slice was running a 10% off special on delivery so we found this place. We kept it simple and ordered an XL 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni and a LG Bruschetta pizza. The XL was huge!! It was cut into very long slices too. Most places would have cut those in Half but we didn't care. The dough is the type with very little salt almost sweet flavor with a medium chewy texture. I like that sometimes to contrast the strong tomato sauce flavor. This pizza had a thick buttery layer of mozzarella. This is very acceptable if not remarkable pizza. It hits the spot. The Bruschetta grew on me. It was unlike other I've tried. It had so many onions! The onions were strong too! It also had sliced fresh tomatoes. The basil which I love the most was very skimpy. I would have liked a lot more. There was a layer of Italian dressing that gave a really nice flavor. In order to enjoy I had to scrape off all the onions. It was very tasty then. Overall, this is good party pizza, I want to try some of there other food and I'm willing to order from there again.

Very Underwhelming Pizza that was slathered in butter and garlic with a very minimal amount of shrimp on it. This was my first time trying this place and it's safe to say that I won't be going back.

His salad came with 4 ranch, my Caesar came with 2. Chicken was gross.

Ordered 2 pizzas, 2 salads, mozz sticks and fries. Fries were bland, like straight potato. Mozz were fine. Boyfriends salad was filled with peppers and the chicken on mine was inedible. The sauce and toppings on my pizza had slid off and were mushed up against one side of the box when I opened it. I slid it back mostly and tried one piece, it wasn't good. He hasn't tried his yet but for $80 it was a huge waste. Update; Ordered eggplant rolls, parm and a sub. Came on time and yummy.

The pizza here is pretty good. New York Style Pizza is located in the Skyview Plaza next to Mr. Subb, across the street from Latham Ford. There are several varieties of NY style pizza by the slice to choose from, ready to be reheated in the oven and served. Several pizza specials are offered. They use Grande Cheese. The regular menu can be seen here: http://www.newyorkstylepizzalatham.com/menu.html I stopped in here for a brief lunch after shopping in the area. I got 2 premium slices of pizza, a deluxe slice (onions, peppers, mushrooms, pepperoni, thin sliced sausage) and a tomato, broccoli & feta slice ($5.50) with a small Pepsi fountain drink (self serve). The service was good and quick. Though the pizza slices had minimal mozzarella cheese on top, the slices were both very good tasting and loaded with lots of fresh toppings and not greasy. The thin crust was crispy outside and a little doughy inside. The pizza slices were very filling. NOTE: Does not accept Entertainment coupons.

They just don't miss... it's crazy. Idk about their takeout but whenever I order individual slices, I swear they are some really really good slices.

Called to order a large pie and wings. Everything was fresh and hot. Used a coupon so order was reasonable. If I am ever in the area I will return.

Not bad football style pizza....no flop. Guy behind the counter wasn't the friendliest person in the world, but what can ya do. As for the slice. Would have liked it warmed up. 6.8/10 overall

The six slice pizza we ordered had a dry, stale seeming crust. The cheese and tomato topping was average at best.

But today, we decided let's just have a cheat day and have our favorite pizza. What we always used to get. An extra crispy Pizza with banana peppers sausage and extra pepperoni. Let's start with the prices. Okay so I know it's 2026 but charging 2.69 per topping on a MEDIUM pizza. That's a little ridiculous. Then when it comes which was within a reasonable time the pizza box was soaked in grease and the pizza itself was beyond soggy. It was the WORST pizza we have ever had and we're so disappointed when we were looking forward to treating ourselves to something we once loved. You can see the pizza just laying in a pool of grease with the photo attached. UPDATE: the owner reached out to me and I was refunded for the pizza. He was very understanding and sincere.

Within 30-35 minutes, I had my order at my room. Delivery attendant was very nice, friendly and professional. My stromboli was awesome (even the half left over the next day!) And the poppers were delicious, too. Same for the cookie, and of course, the soda. I'll definitely try this place again when back in town.

The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant is great for a romantic evening or a quiet family dinner. We love that they have clearly marked on the menu all the vegan options and what is vegetarian to make ordering easy. Ordering online is simple but it's just as easy to call and place an order of you have any questions or concerns. This time I ordered a large pizza with vegan cheese. Half the pizza had artichokes and kalamata olives, the other half was topped with fresh sliced mushrooms and vegan sausage. No canned mushrooms here! I think its great that they know their ingredients. The Vegan cheese is always browned and properly melted. You don't have to tell them extra crispy or well done, they aren't going to give you a pizza that does look and taste delicious! Anytime we are in the Latham area and looking for a place crowd pleaser where we can order for us and the rest of the family that doesn't eat vegan food, Midpoint is at the top of the list! There really is something for everyone!

Why was it so good? I got the 10" Chicken Ricotta, and the flavor was on point, perfectly seasoned, and the crust was so fresh. Not doughy, but that good fire pizza fresh. I'm also a sucker for anything that resembles pasta, so when I saw pasta on a pizza, it was a must try. I'm heading back to Albany right now, and this will be the first thing I order to my hotel.

DeFazio's has exploded in popularity in recent years because of rave reviews from pizza purists…read more It's critically acclaimed as not only one of the premier pizzerias in the Cap District, but some (me) say it's a top ranker across the country. And that ranking is well deserved. You get a strong familial feel walking into DeFazio's. If you're lucky enough to meet the Boss himself (he will actually be wearing a shirt that says "Boss"), he will give you a history lesson on the pizzeria, his family, and the state of pizz-ology Nationwide. He proudly proclaims that he is still The Sauce Guy around these parts because he has to keep up the quality control. There's something special about eating at a restaurant where the owner cares that much about the product, and they want you to as well. I encourage you to take the plunge and order the General Tso's pizza. It sounds insane, I know. But if you grew up eating this stuff, it will take you back to a time where you were traversing a mall food court and eating free samples (funny enough, that was the inspiration for this pizza). A lot of chicken-based pizzas will have red sauce as a base, but this is actually replaced with the Tso's special blend which has a beautiful sweet-heat to it. If you're coming here for the first time, it's nice to also balance a pizza like that out with a classic. Maybe a cheese or something similar. That way you can try out the red sauce and cheese in its purest form. I had the pleasure of walking through a cheese packing session that was going on in the restaurant, so I got to see that raw mozz up close, maybe 20 pounds of it. At that moment, I felt as though I was approaching enlightenment. When fully melted on that 'za, this cheese has the ideal mix of density and squish. DeFazio's has a special place in my heart. Your time here will make you feel like you are in a pizza sitcom. And you will leave with a feeling that you may have just had some of the best pizza of your life.

I haven't been to this original location on 4th St. in Troy for a few years. The family operation is nearly 100 years old. Remarkably, it's very much as I remember it. A tiny place with three tables. Some of the seating looks like repurposed church pews. The youthful staff, friendly as always. They were running into some delays as orders came pouring in just before dinnertime. They'd have to check to see if they could fit our order for a big pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and peppers. They squeezed us in! Since the wait would be between 20-30 minutes we kept ourselves busy by checking out the desserts in the self serve refrigerator. I picked out a slice of "hangover" (alcohol) cake and I devoured it before our meal arrived. It was so delicious and naughty fun to eat our dessert before the meal. The pizza was fantastic when it arrived. I prefer crisp crusts-- this one was not-- but it was awesome just the same. My friend and I were so hungry that we consumed half of the pie before I realized that we hadn't photographed our delicious pizza. The remaining half was boxed and taken home to be enjoyed for a couple more days. The staff was so ready. They came to our table with the box and we settled up our bill. A lot to be said for tradition and quality. I've also visited DeFazio's in Albany, but I have yet to visit the relatively new restaurant up the block. Thanks, DeFazio's, for another great meal.
