Incredibly overpriced. I paid $11 for 4 measly and mediocre cupcakes. Sure, they present nicely, but for the service? Not worth it. The girls upfront are super young and were doing their best to get to everyone, but they seemed like they were nervous and confused. While waiting, I looked towards the back of the bakery to find the owner just looking very snarkily at the customers. No smile just a face of disgust and annoyance. First impressions are key & I don't do the fake smiling just so you can get your business. There's a lot of cussing in the back amongst the employees and it's truly unprofessional. Presentation is decent though I would suggest getting some kind of shade as the cakes are in almost direct sunlight for most of the day. Awkward little shop and overpriced. No sense of welcoming at all. Update: The fact that this owner felt the need to defend herself and respond to my honest opinion/experience in such a childish and argumentative manner shows how unprofessional this place is. The cakes might look great, but it's all about the environment. Some of the best cupcakes I've ever had are from this location. The owner clearly takes pride in her craft and the result is superb. Beyond the cupcakes, the cookies, bars and keto treats are delicious. I wish it was not as necessary to call month(s) in advance for traditional cake orders as I've been told twice on the phone from two separate professionals, but it's just a testament to the demand of a great product. This is overdue but here ya go. My first visit there was a while back. I saw a FB post from them for BOGO cupcakes. I mean... Who would not be excited to see a sale on bakery cupcakes!?!? So I rushed over and got a lil variety. Strawberry with a chocolate covered strawberry on top, chocolate with chocolate on top, red velvet with cream cheese frosting and one other flavor that I actually can't remember right now. All the cakes were dry and didn't taste great at all. The cream cheese frosting was tasty. However, the chocolate and other ( I think it was vanilla) was yucky. I'd prefer making them with store bought Betty Crocker stuff. We ate all the chocolate covered strawberries and ended up throwing the cupcakes out. They looked delicious. I was so sad. They get 3 stars because the churro eclairs ARE delicious. I do love all things cinnamon. LOL. read more

Unfortunately, this isnt my first problem with this shop. Last time was just misunderstanding on my families part, however this time around I'm thoroughly disappointed. My husband and I went to this bakery a few months ago in search of a cake for our wedding. The consultation was great and affordable. The cake is delicious. Moist, light, flavorful. We decided to book them for our 6 inch cake as well as 30 cupcakes (15 of which were supposed to be vanilla cake with chocolate moose and 15 cinnamon flavored frosting). We had informed them that my husband would be picking up the cake as soon as the shop opened as our venue was a bit of a drive away. He got there later than anticipated (10:00am), and they STILL did not have the cupcakes ready (they apparently told my husband that something had come up that prevented them from having them ready, and that they could frost them but this would take 20 extra minutes). I do appreciate their cooperation in giving us cupcakes that were above the price point of the ones that we originally ordered, however to me this was terrible planning and poor execution. Not sure if we just have bad luck, but because of this I am rating with 2 stars and we will not be returning. I ask the shop to strive to not let this happen to another bride. Im usually very understanding as ive had 8 years of customer service experience, but due to the importance of this day I found it especially frustrating. The customer service in this bakery is really quite awful. I went in on 9/16 and asked to place an order for 24 cupcakes to be picked up on 9/25. Before I could get the words out of my mouth I was told that it was not possible for that order to be done. The individual behind the counter said it just could not be done and then she proceeded to wave some papers at me which were supposed to be all of their orders for the next week. While there, I noticed that the refrigerated display was full of cupcakes. If they are making them everyday, why in the world could a special order not be completed? This has happened to me twice now at this bakery, twice to my daughter-in-law and once to my sister. DONE!! What can I say. We ordered a cake for my sons birthday A month before his birthday we realized more people RSVP'd than expected The cake wasn't large enough for the number of people so we called back to order a dozen cupcakes to go with it. (Yes, 1 month before picking up the order) Today the day of the event I had been told to pickup the cake at 10am. I showed up and asked for the order. I didn't know if it was in my wife's name or mine. I told her my wife's name and she didn't see the form. I nearly panicked, but I told her my wife's name 3 more times and she eventually brought the stack of orders over to me to look with her. She found it as the 2nd page in the stack. I could see the order form for the cake and circled large at the bottom was the order for the cupcakes She gave us our 2 tiered vanilla cake with colorful fondant balloons for my sons 1st Birthday party. It looked great ! Impressed with the aesthetic. I was NOT impressed to find that my cupcakes were not made, nobody had a real rhyme or reason why. The excuse was just that "they must have missed it" (I don't know how, the cupcake writing was larger than the original orders writing.) The only effort to make it right was that they can make them for me before my party at 1pm. This was about 1030am. I told them I live in Stockton and that I could not drive the 30 minutes back to Tracy again to pick them up. She offered to sell me some from the case, but there was a mix of other cupcakes that in no way match his cake or what we planned to make his party special. They didn't have a dozen vanilla like we had ordered. I get our 2 tier cake and tell them to just take the cupcakes off the order. I paid for the cake, and the cake was given to me. THEY DONT HAVE PROPER BOXES. So annoying to me. No cover for this cake at all. Just a half a thin donut box to support the bottom. Luckily I brought a clean plastic tote to support and protect this thing as it sat on my floorboards with the air conditioning on blast while I transport it. (Per their instructions) It comes with a instruction sheet. An entire page dedicated on how to care for your cake up until your party. I get it home, removed the fondant topper like suggested. Figure out how to store them until the party (no instructions provided on how to care for the fondant topper other than to NOT leave them on the cake while it's in your fridge) We served the cake. Party was cute and everyone was having a good time. Post party the whole family agrees, it wasn't worth the extra money. The flavor was MEH, and it was a dense cake. Not worth the 140$ we paid for the cake. WAY pricey for that cakes quality and taste. We all agree. Next time we will just buy a Costco cake. It tastes way better, and is significantly cheaper. Oh yea, the 3.99$ for 6 Raley's Cupcakes that matched our theme and cake were not criticized one bit. The end all, problem I have was the lack of sincerity, lack of action, and lack of empathy from the person I dealt with at the bakery regarding missing part of my order. No real offer to make it right was offered. Just suggesting I buy their case cupcakes. Would not recommend you go here for your party. Not bad if your strolling for sweets near the farmers market, but if you're depending on this bakery for your event, I would steer clear. Good luck in your future endeavors and I hope you don't do this to any more of your customers. Note to your owner: Improve your employee communication and supervision. This shouldn't happen, and if they need a separate order form for add-ons like mine, make it clear to your staff. Have a process for these things, and have someone double checking your bakers to make sure all the orders are fully completed before they are marked "done". When your staff screws up, OWN IT. Don't make excuses for them. Apologize and truly make it right for your customers. Empathize and truly apologize, don't just say "oh dang, sorry they must have missed it" read more

Tried to place an order for a birthday cake, I called using the number that was listed on Yelp. Rings and goes to voice mail, it said that if I wanted a quicker response I should send a text, I thought that's understandable and yeah it would be faster. I left a voice message since I thought what the hey I'm already calling and left my number to reach me back... Waited a few days, never got a response. Then I remembered the voice message about texting, did that too and reminded her that I left a previous voice message. NEVER got a response for BOTH. I'm thinking if she's super busy or has a family emergency, please let me know that you're not available so I won't bother her some more. But nothing. No doubt the cupcakes are delicious! Great custom and unique flavors. This is my problem, I made a custom wedding order and my mother went to pick them up. And when she arrived home I realized 30% of the cupcakes were missing... I called the store in a panic and a male answered the phone, apparently she dropped 30% of them in the parking lot. The employee whom I've never spoken with before was unapologetic or helpful with the situation. He simply said "yup your cupcakes are damaged in the parking lot". When I asked if there were any he could fix or add new icing too once again I got no where. I became frustrated and handed over the phone to my sister who quickly hung up and said I'll just go over there and solve this. The cupcakes we tried were great. The customer service was not. My mother and I went in 3.5 weeks before my sister's scheduled baby shower. We were scoffed at and told they need orders placed between 3 and 4 weeks in advance (pardon me, but is 3.5 weeks not between 3 and 4?) and that they were booked, but since of their bookings many had not made security deposits they would put us on a waitlist and we should call to check in. We offered to pay in full at that time, but were refused. Fast forward 2 weeks and I called to check and see if we had moved up (we were second on the waitlist). The person I spoke to had no idea what I was talking about, they hadn't called to confirm cakes for that weekend yet (the NEXT weekend) and when I mentioned that people hadn't made deposits and wanted to see if we could NOW make a deposit and have a guaranteed cake she proceeded to tell me "oh, well we just started taking deposits so the mandatory deposit for these cakes [ahead of you] won't be enforced." Would have been cool to be informed of that two weeks prior. I understand that you're a fairly new and fairly small business. But perhaps have your customer service overhauled, and streamlined where ALL of your employees know the company policies. read more
