However, now that we have tried Mama Birds it will definitely be added to our rotation. They have gluten-free waffle cones here which was a bit surprising to be honest. They also label their ice creams as gluten free which is helpful. It is a bit more on the expensive side, a double scoop is $7.50 and a triple is $10 plus $1.50 for the waffle cones ($2.25 for GF). So it's a bit expensive. I always base the cost on a family of 5...it's basically $45 for 5 double scoop cones + tip is another $9 and with taxes you're looking t just under $60 which buys a lot of Ben and Jerry's or 3 trips to Sunni Skies... Some ice cream shops encourage you to try as many as you'd like. I think I tried 5 here and the staff was getting annoyed with me...there wasn't a line either it was just us. I wouldn't try more than 2-3 if there was a line. I feel like a couple here is the standard. The parking lot exit needs some work, if you have a tiny car you might lose it in the potholes! I'm sure that problem belongs to whoever owns the property that rents to the ice cream shop but I'd push for it to be fixed! Decent amount of parking. It's very clean and cool inside. They do have restrooms. Tables are shared seating so you'll be sitting next to strangers (not a problem for me but I know people who want their own table). It is somewhat small. I don't know how busy it can get but if it was slammed you might have to eat in your car so make sure you bring some wet wipes for the kids.

The variety of flavors was amazing and I love the names! Blue milk referencing Star Wars and my all time favorite 'BISCUITS WITH THE BOSS' referencing Ted Lasso. Both would probably haunt my dreams, it definitely haunts my waist band. I'm usually a local guy but I haven't found a great local bakery anywhere in Fuquay that offers variety as well as quality. Most of them are just very boring and offer plain chocolate chip cookies or other sweets that just aren't outstanding. So that's how I end up at Crumbl. My first time here was a complete accident. I was driving by and saw the sign. I went in and ordered a dozen cookies, a couple of each flavor...I was a bit in shock when I was handed the box...it was HEAVY!!! Like the heaviest box of a dozen cookies I've ever had in my life. A dozen from Insomnia or your local bakery would probably weigh 1/3 of what these beasts put down on the scale. Each delicious sugar packed cookie is about 600 calories so be careful consuming too many at once. Technically you could eat 3 per day for 4 days on the Crumbl diet and get 1800 calories per day for about $13/day (2025 prices). And you probably wouldn't gain weight. I love all of the variety and the interesting combos that they come up with each week. The standard chocolate chip is pretty good on its own especially when it's warm. My favorite of all time isn't even a cookie, it's one of their cakes...the strawberry shortcake to be exact. I can't wait for it to come back I'll probably buy a dozen of them. Service has always been great. I just order on the app and either walk in to get them after checking in on the app, or have them bring them to my car. Both great options. But if you have kids you should put their name in the field for who's picking up the cookies. They love seeing their name on the giant screen almost as much as they love the cookies...it's very exciting for them.
