My friend and I walked here after lunch at Osha Thai a few doors down after trying the mango sticky rice which is served with coconut vanilla ice cream on the side and it was CREAMY AF. The waitress said that they get their ice cream from JT's so of course we had to check it out after trying it at Osha. Best ice cream ever. On par with the artisan ice cream shops in California. It reminds me of Tin Pot from Los Altos which sadly no longer has any brick and mortar shops. The guy working here was super friendly and chill and answered all our questions and they also told us about a fun challenge the shop does: if you guess the blue milk ice cream flavor correctly you can get a free scoop! Apparently only one person has ever guessed it correctly. Coffee cookies and cream is a solid choice as well. My friend grabbed a pint of that. They have dairy free chai, cookie dough, Madagascar vanilla, mint chip, and much much more. I wish I took a photo of all of their current offerings. The variety of flavors was amazing and I love the names! Blue milk referencing Star Wars and my all time favorite 'BISCUITS WITH THE BOSS' referencing Ted Lasso. I didn't make the connection with either one until I brought the pint of ice cream home and my husband picked up on it immediately. The cookies absolutely taste homemade/from scratch. The texture was out of this world fantastic. They had a sign outside noting awards for best milk shake in Holly Springs. I will be back to Holly Springs just to get more of this phenomenal ice cream!!!! read more

Wow this is amazing ice cream! I got the hazelnut which was delicious. It tastes like hazelnut butter ice cream with flakes of dark chocolate chips. The girl at the register was really sweet and friendly. There's a very clean and cute little courtyard area outside with some fun games like checkers and a pretty mural. This place has been on our list for a while and decided to stop in. It was not to busy for a Saturday afternoon. We were warmly greeted right away and offered samples to see what we would like. The two young ladies were so nice and made my family and I feel great about out selections. They recommended the raspberry for me since the mango sherbert was out. The raspberry was fresh and even had the seeds however the raspberry cheesecake was better balanced for my taste. My sons got the salted carmel and Brookie in waffle cones. I personally do not like ice cream that are too sweet and I find theirs is great. The first time we came here, I got the pistachios and mocha. Very impressed with the amount of pistachio in it. You would normally just see the colour and some pistachio in some places but not this one. It feels like every bite contained a nut. I love that the dairy part is creamy and velvety without the sugar empowerment. However, not all ice cream are made to be equal, I tasted the non-dairy one and I'm so sorry to say it was not for me. It had a lot of chocolate chips but it was missing. It might be my tastebuds but perhaps others might like it if they are used to non-dairy products. During the holidays, they had eggnog, if you like eggnog, this is for you. However, I'm not a fan of any eggnog so I didn't get it. The second time, I'm not sure if our scooper is an owner or not but top-notch on customer service. My three year old got a popsicle and after a few licks, it fell on the floor. They have chocolate waffles as an option too. They offer samples of the products. They had a small selection of dairy free -- lemon poppy seed and German chocolate. Most of their ice cream products are gluten free. They have some really interesting flavors. I got the Blue Milk -- it taste like a sweet cream, but blue. The price wasn't terrible -- $3.75 for kiddie scoop, $5.00 for single scoop. We had dinner nearby and drove by, when my little brother saw this little place and demanded we turn around and check it out. I was MORE than happy to do so! We had EXCELLENT service from a lively and sweet young crew of team members. They allowed us to try several of their flavors, as there are several that have quite unusual names (blue milk, cherry blossom mint). Due to the pandemic, my brother had never fully experienced the joy of trying flavors at your will, so he enjoyed this freedom! We then called family, as there was such a great selection and we didn't want to leave anyone out of this joy! AMAZING selection, beautiful flavors, all silky smooth and delicious! We may have found our new go to ice cream shop! While this place is located on the Block at Main, it is a bit tucked away at ground level, so you'll have to be looking for it. The space outside the shop opens up to ample outdoor seating, and there is some indoor seating as well. We ordered the taco, which was a waffle shell with three scoops of ice cream and two toppings, all for $8. The ice cream was quite tasty and the sheer value of what we were getting for the quantity left me with good taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally. read more

I've found the holy grail of creamy, velvety ice cream that's full of flavor. I tried the coffee with Oreos and the Double chocolate and they were both AMAZING. I'm normally a chocolate girl but that coffee ice cream gave me a new favorite flavor. I learned their bold colored ice creams are made with all natural food (like beets to add color) instead of food coloring so I decided to try it. So this time I tried the dairy free Lemon Poppyseed and it too was super creamy, lemony and made from almond milk. Flavors were meh, nothing to write home about. 15 Minutes into our drive home from This place, my two daughters started complaining about stomach aches. Oddly enough, my wife was on the phone with her friend which ironically had Just departed as well and, her 3 daughters were also complaining of stomach aches after having Ice cream from here. Needless to say, we've enjoy lots more ice cream from Other locations and never encountered this. Anyways staff was great, very attentive and very very nice. Ice cream, not so much. read more

I went here with my teen to meet up with some other homeschool families. It was our first time trying this place out. First impression is it's a cute little place. It's small on the inside, but there is good outdoor seating options. The staff was friendly and helpful and the place looked clean. However, neither my son nor I were fans of the ice-cream. We each tried a couple of different flavors, but didn't find much difference in the ones we picked. I tried birthday cake and blue moon, and I honestly couldn't really tell them apart. My son said the same about the options he picked, which were birthday cake and cookie dough. Neither flavor really stood out. Usually birthday cake flavor is pretty sweet, but this one was bland and just milky tasting, just not very good. I think there's more flavorful ice-cream places, so personally we won't be back. read more

Soooo good. Delicious, high quality homemade ice cream. Very smooth and creamy. They have a lot of great flavors and rotate in new ones regularly. I've tried several but the grasshopper mint and mocha have been my favorite so far. They also gave some great, dairy free options too. Excellent milkshakes and sundaes as well. Ice cream selection was small. Overall their ice cream was fine but the prices are kinda of over the top. I got a very small "kids scoop" and it was $4.50! That is what I would think a regular single scoop would be. Very mediocre. Tried a handful of times to go here and they were always closed despite the posted hours. Finally made it in tonight and was very underwhelmed. The flavors were basic and the ice cream was just ok. It was a nice creamy texture but had a taste almost like there was cool whip in it. Kinda odd. They also ran out of waffle cones and didn't seem to want to make more. I get it stored run out of things but definitely added to the disappointment.
