Great food and great service!! My husband and I split a warm curry chickpea bowl...while it was being made, I asked if I could have an extra bowl so I could split it in two and the employee split it for me! It was a really nice extra touch; she even gave us double the dressings and bread even though we only paid for one bowl. Usually my experience is that the employees are rather kind. Today, however, I had the misfortune of being served by Abby. This woman had a very dismissive attitude towards me from the moment I was waiting to be helped. She was terse and never thanked me at the end of the transaction. Ya know, Chopt is not too far away and would totally be worth going out of my way to avoid unfriendly employees. i like the healthy option that's near my workplace but I don't love it. It's nice that it's a salad place and it's nice that it's healthy. I'll go here when I just have to have a healthy option and while it's exciting it's not amazing like I would have at Chop't. It's more of a preference thing - I prefer the salad chopped up. I got the guacamole green salad. It wasn't too bad, it was a little bit of overkill on the lettuce so the rest of the toppings got lost. They toppings weren't too bad but unfortunately some of the ingredients that were out didn't look as fresh as mine. $10 for my salad didn't seem too outrageous just wish there was a little more to it. This place is so good but it is a little expensive. U create your own salad and they have a pretty good selection. I wish they had honey mustard dressing but still a good selection of dressings too. It's enough that u can save it for later. The chick pea soup is also really good. It's a good spot to have in the mall and I come on my breaks although the soup and salad together is about $15.75 pretty steep for that but still really fresh and good. read more

This is seriously the worst experience at Sweetgreen I've ever had. I put in an order at 12:41 p.m. for a 1 p.m. pickup, and I didn't get my salads until 1:20 p.m. One of my salads was a Shroomami but subbed out the tofu for extra mushrooms. What I received was a freezing cold bowl that had *maybe* one scoop and a few extra pieces of mushrooms. Not only that, there were no sunflower seeds, rice, basil, and barely half a tablespoon of dressing in it. The salad was so light that the person who made it obviously put it on the line while aware that something was off with it. So now I get to sit here at work with something that's not going to get me through the rest of the afternoon, and I'm going to be starving at dinner. The cold mushrooms are almost too gross to eat, and I may end up throwing it away. Speaking of dinner, the other salad I ordered came with the wrong dressing. I'm not sure which kind, but it's definitely not what comes with the Hummus Tahina. The icing on the cake was standing to the side of the queue and watching a woman haul a tub of raw chicken out from the kitchen and resting it on top of paperwork sitting at the register so she could open the refrigerator. That can't have been sanitary. I'm going to be reaching out to Sweetgreen and asking from a refund because this whole experience has been abysmal. read more

Here's the thing, it's not so much that this location is "bad" as it is that it's "worse" than the other locations. It's a kiosk against the stairs. To begin with, the line at lunch is always beyond reasonably long. I've watched in horror as 1 person did 90% of the work while the cashier just gazed at the shiny lights and signs in the mall. For heavens sake man, help! Second, there is simply not enough space. What little seating there is, is so jam packed that I'm forced to listen to the office drama of the people still standing in line as I eat. They occasionally throw me a dirty look, as if my meal alone caused the slowdown. All I asked for was extra chicken, and extra bread, and a second bowl. Hmm. Scratch that. It's on me. Anyhow, with their popularity I think they need an actual store, not just a kiosk up against the stairs. read more

I've tried several of the signature salads and they've been consistent, good tasting, and interesting. You learn to ask for light or medium dressing, or even dressing on the side, if you are concerned about the oil or calories. The "regular" amount of dressing seems way too much to me. The portions of proteins are right for the salad, but may seem small if you like a protein-rich lunch. So spend a buck or two and have them add in extra tofu or chicken. The ingredients have been flavorful and fresh, and the staff friendly even when the line is long and things are hectic. I also like that this place gets me up out of my desk and walking over to the mall to pick up lunch. A nice little break and a little exercise too. read more

I went here for lunch for the first time a few days ago. It was late afternoon so it wasn't busy. The nice employee behind the counter helped me select a salad (Kale Caesar). I told her I'll take all the stuff it usually comes up with, and then she asked me if I want the dressing to be light/medium/heavy. I said light. The salad was great, the amount of dressing was just right, and the only thing I wasn't thrilled about was the price. I didn't get a drink and the salad alone came out to just under $10. I'm not sure if their pricing is higher at this location since it's in Tysons 2 or if this is their usual pricing but in any event I felt it was high. I realize it's all fresh veggies and a lot of it is locally grown, but I still think a lunchtime salad should not be $10. $8 or $8.50 would be more appropriate. I had to go back to Tysons 2 yesterday so I decided to get another Kale Caesar. Again, I said light dressing. This time the dressing was just sprinkled on. I didn't taste any at all. Also, the amount of chicken seemed to have been cut in half. I took the salad to go so I did not notice these things until I got home. I'm sure some people will think I'm being picky, but the bottom line is that if you want to charge $10 for a salad you need to have consistency in your salads. I haven't given up on this place yet, but I'm definitely hoping my 3rd visit will be a good one. I wanted to give it a 3.5/5 but since that's not an option I went with a 4 since everyone who worked there was very friendly. read more

Love the choices and freshness in the food. They take direction well, and the staff are pretty friendly and willing to work with you to come up with something interesting. The salads are filling and I don't feel guilty even if I get one of the more "heavier" varieties. Seating is a bit awkward as it is in the middle of the shopping mall by itself, but I usually take my salads to go. It's fresh, delicious, and healthy. read more

Out of the many times I have eaten here, I've never really had any complaints about the food. The only thing is, please make sure your food is thoroughly cooked. However, the last time I came to the Tysons location, they were completely out of kale and bread. Its not my first time here, I started ordering my salad and I chose to have organic mesclun for my local blue crab salad, when i started eating, i noticed a green warm on the mesclun in my salad!!! YES a real worm! I was so shocked and disgusted. I immediately ran into one of the staff to let them know about it. And i requested to get a full refund for that salad. That's a shame. read more
