I stopped this cafe because I happened to be in the area and after seeing someone post one of the…read moresandwiches they bought from this place I've been obsessed with trying it. First things first, parking. The stores have a parking garage that requires you to pay within 15-20 minutes I believe. I met a friend at another restaurant that validated but even if they didn't. Prices were pretty reasonable. When I first entered, the place was bright, clean, pretty immaculate. Everyone was either working or conversing with friends at various tables. In line with a cafe vibe. It was my first time there so I wasn't aware that you can simply order at the kiosks by the entrance. But the server was very friendly and was happy to provide input on the menu. But since I wanted to peruse the menu a bit more, I figured the kiosk was the best way to check out other items on the menu besides the sandwich that I knew I wanted. I ordered the hibiscus lemonade and the bulgogi egg sandwich to go. The sandwich was flavorful, the eggs were fluffy, the bread was soft and the sauce brought everything together. I could see why it was one of their best selling items. The hibiscus lemonade was delicious as well, though I'm interested in trying other drinks on the menu such as their smoothies. All in all I would definitely return and probably end up getting the same sandwich.

I've had different kinds, the bulgogi and the lox and they were all amazing. I got to also try the BELT as well and as it's so simple I thought you really can't go wrong going down that path. The service was pretty much self serve, even down to the ordering. There's 3 tablets where you can just order your food, and after that they'll let you know when your order is up. There's plenty of parking (and they validate) and seating. Inside is an your usual industrial/modern type of cafe. Semicolon is great though for drinks and also the sandwiches, but I can definitely vouch for the sandos. If you're not here for that, then I would definitely recommend you to add that to the list.

We popped in and took a while to read the menu options. I landed on a giant Italian Combo, a beer, side of fries, and a tiramisu. Everything was amazing. Add in elbow to elbow and its tight as all seats being used. They actually gave a full bar but unfortunately only three beers in bottles. Hubby prefers draft. We ordered a small capo special with extra meat as we added prosciutto. We found the distribution of meat not very even across the sub. Also a bit too much lettuce and not enough italIan dressing IMO. I dont need dripping but looking for the herb taste which isn't there. I did appreciate them bring our sandwich to us. That was helpful as front had lots of folks waiting for carryout. Overall its barely a 4.... but yelp doesn't let me do partial points... absolutely more than a 3. Ohhh dont forget a sweater. Super cold and blowing in the seating area.

I don't eat lobster (I know, I know) so I ordered the Shrimp Mac & Cheese, which I believe is a limited-time menu item. It was basically a bowl of Mac & cheese topped with shrimp (which I was happy to see vs the shrimp being pre-mixed in). The shrimp were seasoned, maybe a tad rubbery but I prefer that to being undercooked. Tasty Mac & cheese. My companions enjoyed their lobster rolls. Friendly service, clean restaurant.

When I went to eat my sandwich a piece of lobster fell out, so I ate it first. I did not like the taste of the mayo. On the marquee with the recipes for the rolls, it mentions light mayo. Maybe they are actually using low cal mayo. I noticed on the website it does not say light mayo. When I asked about the mayo, the young man did not know what kind of mayo was being used. (They also did not know if the shrimp, also offered, was farmed or wild. Generally, if staff doesn't know that means it's farmed shrimp-- if using wild shrimp it's usually well advertised.) While eating the lobster roll itself, the mayo wasn't as noticeable and the lobster meat was just delicious. Didn't taste frozen or old. The roll was very yummy. My only other issue is that of the Coca-Cola soda drink. I rarely drink sodas so it was a real treat. It looks like the soda to syrup mix was off. The atmosphere is as you would expect. Very clean. No issues there. The outdoor seating was nice as it was a beautiful day. Nonetheless, I will definitely be going back. The staff could not have been more friendly. We went on a Saturday in August so that may be why it was easy to park right in front. I'm not sure how easy it's going to be to park if we have to go into the parking garages. The store does validate; I can't remember for how many hours. This whole area is not quite up and running yet. It seems to be a bit slow, which is normal.

I placed an online order on the evening of 4/21 for my usual -- a Giant #3 with extra meat -- and arrived a few minutes early, which gave me a clear view of the whole process. What I saw was disappointing. The bread was cut incorrectly -- not lengthwise down the center but more like one-third on the bottom and two-thirds on top. That kind of cut doesn't hold up, and by the time the oil was added, the thin bottom half was already soggy. I also don't believe I received the extra meat I paid for. The toppings were applied carelessly -- lettuce scattered across the counter, and the oil and vinegar were poured so haphazardly that the wrapping paper was soaked through before they even got to cutting the sandwich. I'm not writing this to be harsh. I'm writing it because I've always admired this location and would hate to see it slip into the kind of mediocrity that has hurt other spots in the chain. It was clear to anyone watching that neither of these two employees had much investment in the product they were putting in front of the customer. I hope management takes note -- this place is worth caring about.

I paid at the register and went to get a drink from the fountain. When I turned around, I didn't see my sandwich. I waited a few seconds then asked where my sandwich was. The lady who rang me up looked around cluelessly, like some sort of magic trick was performed. The guy whose only job was to wrap sandwiches said nothing with a weird smile on his face. The guy who made my sandwich, I know he made it, I saw him do it... was confused because he certainly handed off the sandwich down the line. I could barely understand the cashier say they'd make me another one. How does a sandwich just vanish? Coulda been them putting my sandwich in one of the to-go bags, coulda been a random overzealous customer, but it was literally seconds, and it was gone. Anyway. Sandwich: This is the worst experience I've had with this chain, so location makes a difference. Now that I am thinking about it, I may have gone here once before and wondered what the hype was all about... having had it in Maine, it's a world of difference. Tasted like older product, and bummed that it was way below par here. Wanted something quick, easy, and familiar, but there are many other lunch options around.

Delivery review ahead!…read more I have not yet visited this place in person so I'm unsure how it is inside and how the service is. Delivery: well packaged for a long trip to DC and it remained fresh and hot. Food: Sweet potato tater tots El Lomo Saltado Both of these selections were AMAZING! The sweet potato tater tots were genius! Perfectly prepared, packing flavor in each bite. The El Lomo Saltado was DIVINE! Allow me to break down the flavors: Biscuit: gosh this biscuit was buttery and soft. And yes, the juices from the steak did not make it soggy. But back to the biscuit...the top was flaky and the inside was soft! Soft and buttery. Egg: I asked for a well done fried egg (the main dish contains over easy) the egg was perfectly cooked and delicious. Steak: the steak pieces were generous and the seasoning on the meat...dangerous! There was a slice of provolone cheese melted on the egg and the sandwich also contained pieces of potatoes and tomatoes inside. The food feels thoughtful and well-executed, the kind of place you keep thinking about after you leave. Definitely worth a visit, and I can't wait to come back and try more! The service was down to earth and the shop is quaint. You might need to wait for a seat to open, but it moves quickly!

It was freezing inside, and I was not sure if a heater was running. When I came in for dinner around 8:00 PM, it was extremely quiet. The space would benefit from some music to make it feel less empty. The food: The menu is pretty limited to smashburgers, fries, cheese curds, and drinks. I ordered the single-patty smashburger. The cook was great, but it needed more seasoning. A little more salt would go a long way. The fries and cheese curds were delicious, and everything came out hot. One thing I would change is the sauce setup. We got small ramekins of ketchup and house sauce, and it did not feel like enough. A self-serve sauce station or larger portions would be more convenient. The service: I did not really interact with the staff since they were mostly cooking in the back, but the food came out very quickly, which was a big plus.
