Chicken, jalapeño, ranch wrap, (missing added avocado)
    Rachel W.

This last week was my first visit to sweetgreen and the wrap I ordered was absolutely delicious. I got the chicken jalapeño ranch wrap and the green juice. Both were delicious! The restaurant was clean and mainly self order. I ordered for pick-up to go and they were relatively fast in fulfilling my order. Unfortunately, when I got home, I noticed that although I paid extra for avocado, it was not included in my wrap. I went online to discuss the issue with customer service and unfortunately they weren't able to remedy the situation. If it wasn't for their lack of customer service, I would definitely come back. I'm disappointed at the outcome.

Oh man, I loved my steak bites salad with a variety of veggies, hummus, and chimichuri sauce. It was fresh and delicious. I love that they use paper bowls rather than plastic. Service through DoorDash was convenient.

This place is a good healthier option for eating out. The space is bright, I just wish there was more tables or space to sit, it feels like we have to hunt to find somewhere to sit. Everything is ordered through tablets when you first walk in, zero human interaction, which isn't an issue for me, but older visitors may not enjoy that aspect. We got the steak honey crunch bowl and the crispy rice bowl. Food was good enough, steak a little dry, but made up for it with the dressing. Crispy rice bowl was also good, spicy sauce creeps up on you. I feel like this place is a solid healthier option for eating out. Overall, food felt fresh, and was good for the price in my opinion.

INFINITE KITCHEN (3 stars) I prefer a person to "toss my salad", instead of a machine. Not my favorite Sweetgreen location. - FOOD: decent - PRICE: pricy for salad - SERVICE: machine dos the work - AMBIANCE: nothing special Order at kiosk machine Machinery makes your bowl of salad People place a lid on it Pick-Up (Fastest Sweetgreen I been to but also my bowl lacked love). The Infinite Kitchen (machine that makes your salad bowl) doing mass production in short time. I get this on a business perspective, mass production in such little time and no to minimal human interaction, means more profit. However, my salad lacked flavor and love. Didn't taste the same as ordering at the other Sweetgreen where a person was actually "tossing my salad" instead of a machine. By the time it came to a person, they just put the lid on the salad unless in your kiosk order it says mix and they will mix the salad real quick and slap a lid on. SHROOMAMI - this is my go to salad. This time I went light on the dressing and it literally tasted like no dressing (won't do that again). Until the next review...

Food: The food is average overall, but since it's meant to be a healthier option, it makes sense that many of the base ingredients taste a bit plain on their own. Once everything is mixed together with the toppings and sauces I chose, the bowl was actually pretty tasty. The portion size is decent and filling without being too heavy. Service: The service was the weakest part of my visit. It was my first time there, and I wasn't familiar with how the ordering process worked. The staff member who took my order didn't seem very welcoming or wanting to help. I had to ask questions at each station about the toppings and options. BUT I understand that people have off days and she may have been tired, but as a first-time customer, I would have appreciated a warmer welcome and a bit more guidance. Ambiance: The space is very bright, spacious, and clean. It feels fresh and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy your meal.

I ordered from Sweetgreen for the first time yesterday through DoorDash. I can't really speak to the service or ambiance since it was delivery, but I've walked past the restaurant many times and it always caught my attention. I was craving a salad but wanted something a little more interesting, and I really liked how customizable the ordering process was. I'm not a fan of spicy foods, so I removed the spicy cashews and sauces, added extra veggies, and chose the crispy rice bowl with balsamic vinegar on the side. When it arrived, the bowl looked beautiful and the ingredients seemed really fresh. Unfortunately, once I started eating it, there were random bites that were unexpectedly very spicy. It wasn't consistent enough to seem like an ingredient I ordered, but more like something spicy accidentally got mixed in during preparation. Every so often I would get a bite that completely caught me off guard and set my mouth on fire, which made the experience pretty disappointing. I was really hungry so I still finished the salad and drank a lot of water to balance the heat, but it definitely wasn't what I expected. That said, the ingredients tasted fresh and the crunch of the salad was great, so I would probably try ordering again.

Kale with blackened chicken and crispy rice

I was so excited when a sweetgreen showed up near me. This is the best bowl. Don't fight me until you try it. Base of white rice and kale. Add chick peas, spicy broccoli, crispy rice x2. Get cilantro or basil for a good flavor. Add blackened chicken. For the dressing (this is the important part), get one spicy cashew, one sweetgreen hot sauce and one miso ginger - all light. And ask them to mix it in. So good. The restaurant itself is super clean. Service is friendly but maybe because they are new, they don't know much about the company or the app. For example, I couldn't get my gift card to work. Rather than help me or call their own IT, they told me to email the company. But I was there trying to eat? So that was the only reason I took away the star. The crispy rice alone is 5 star!

My order receipt explicitly says White Rice x 2 since I paid extra for a double portion of rice. However, the amount of rice in the bowl was tiny, it barely looked like a regular single scoop, let alone a double portion. Charging extra for double portions and giving a minimal amount is really frustrating.

There is plenty of parking. The space itself isn't laid out the best. It is a large space, but very little indoor seating. There is some outdoor seating as well. There are a bunch of kiosks where you can place your order. It is nice to be able to customize everything and also see calorie and macro details. They have a bunch of ingredients to choose from. I built my own salad. I asked for light dressing and it still felt like a lot. I would get the dressing on the side next time for sure. When getting it pre-mixed, most of the toppings were on the bottom of the bowl, so it was kind of hard to tell / see the portion sizes of the toppings / add-ons. Overall, this is a decent spot for a healthy lunch.

Hooray! A new Sweetgreen in Mission Valley. This is on Camino de la Reina close to Chipotle and Target. I'm a big fan of this salad chain. I love their wholesome and nutritious plates. I love the wide variety of ingredients they have! I visited on a Saturday afternoon and had no wait. Ordering is super duper easy with their tablets. It also makes it easy to customize items. They made my plate within a few minutes, and the employees were so friendly! I took my bowl to go but there are plenty of tables for eating in. I tried the "Ranchy Baddie Bowl" - it's a limited menu item that's a collab with a Love Island star. I enjoyed all the items in this salad chain- rice, kale, cabbage, blackened chicken, sweet potatoes, chips, crunchy onions, and hot sauce and green goddess dressing! Perfect mix of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors. I did add chickpeas and cucumbers just because it looked yummy. I also always get bread on the side, this time it was just a slice of whole wheat so nothing crazy (in the past it was a buttery crispy focaccia) but it is free so why not add it. The only thing is I wish I got more sauce because the bowl was jam packed so I definitely needed more to cover everything. 5/5 would return :)

I enjoyed a nice Kale Caesar Salad from this place for lunch. The Salad came with a mixture of kale and romaine lettuce. It also had very good tender all white roasted chicken, which I liked very much. I asked for the dressing to be mixed in the salad, you can also have it on the side, which was very good. It offered that nice zesty flavor with hints of anchovies. The salad came with some terrific parmesan crisps which added great texture and flavor to the salad. The salad also came with cherry tomatoes and shredded parmesan cheese. The service was friendly. The place was well kept, clean, and organized. Oh yes, they offer you a slice of whole wheat bread with your salad. The bread was very good. There's plenty of parking, inside and outside seating is available.

Sweet Greens Mission Valley has opened, previously where Corner Bakery was and is a great healthy option that allows you to customize your own bowl. I was looking for something healthier today and was happy to find Sweet Greens had opened and decided to stop in. They had welcoming green balloons at the entrance and a friendly greeting once walking in. It's especially nice with the large menu board and contactless ordering on iPads which allows you to create or customize your own bowl. Prices were decent at around $16 depending on what items you selected. There was quite a bit of seating including outside and the space was nicely renovated, giving a clean open feel. Our food was prepared in the open kitchen and was fast - about 5 minutes. Great bowl presentation and large size. The only thing I will say is there was a lot of kale compared to the other items but otherwise was tasty. They also use all compostable items so that nothing goes in the regular garbage which I'm a huge fan of. A good visit and will probably be back again.

so happy to have another healthy option in the area! Parking was easy (large lot) and ordering was simple. You order on a kiosk, I personally like this since at other locations it can take quite some time to finally order. Apparently a robot or something also makes your order?! I didn't verify, but overhead an employee say so. I LOVE sweet green, everything is delicious! Green juice was good with a nice kick of ginger, but had agave in it. It took a really long time to get our drinks (we were done with our food by the time we got drinks). Staff were very kind! I plan to be a regular.

It's a casual spot, but the food leans more chef-driven and thoughtful. We started with the breadsticks and truffle butter simple, but really well done. The crispy portobello mushrooms were one of my favorites, super flavorful with a great texture. For drinks, I had a margarita and a bloody mary, both solid. For mains, we ordered the tri-tip sandwich (aka "Cardiff Crack") and the chicken sandwich. The tritip especially lives up to the hype really tender, packed with flavor, and easy to see why it has that nickname. Dessert is what stood out so much . The butter cake comes warm with ice cream and purée, and it was easily the highlight of the meal. I took a bite and just paused for a second it's that kind of dessert Overall, a really good spot if you want elevated comfort food in a laid back setting. Update: Came back today with my friend and we ordered the B3 and the Turkey & Cheddar Mousse sandwiches, plus sides of potato salad and cucumber salad, and a double chocolate cookie with pistachio and sea salt. Everything was really good, but the Turkey & Cheddar Mousse sandwich was the star of the show. The cookie was great too.
