I have gotten brazilians at several different places, and Sweeties is by far the best!!! I first tried Sweeties about a year ago, after seeing all the great reviews on Yelp - it's a bit of a drive for me (20 minutes) but so worth it! The whole process takes maybe 15 minutes tops. I'm a total baby when it comes to pain, but Erin somehow manages to make it not so bad...I'm not sure how she does it! The place is super clean and cute. First time doing a Brazilian let alone sugaring. I know people say it's better than waxing because of ingredients and method but I feel like it felt the same as waxing because you're pulling out hair follicles. Erin told me I did good to say it was my first. Honestly I think it depends on your pain tolerance level. It hurt initially directly after application but honestly you feel nothing else (but freedom and air) down there. This was my first time sugaring, and I absolutely loved it! I started waxing in my early teens, but quickly stopped once I had repeated visits of torn skin. After that I did threading, but it did not last as long was waxing and it definitely hurt more if you didn't keep up with it regularly. The woman who I have been going to for at least 5 years did not have any availability and I needed something now! I found Erin on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I am never going back to threading or waxing every again! This exceeded my expectations and I came out of there feeling like a new person with all my healthy skin cells in tact! Ok, so it does hurt, and don't let anyone tell you it is "pain free". Of course it hurts to yank out your hairs. However, if I'm going to do it, Erin is the woman! And really it hurts, but it is definitely bearable. She has always made me feel comfortable and although the exposure is awkward, she is awesome about it!
